  Using String.Format how can i ensure all numbers have commas after every 3 digits eg 23000 = "23,000" and that 0 returns "0". String.Format("{0:n}", 0); //gives 0.00 which i dont want. I dont want any decimal places, all numbers will be integers.

  If a program has literally just deserialized an object (doesn't really matter how, but just say BinaryFormatter was used). What is a good design to use for re-injecting the dependencies of this object? Is there a common pattern for this?   Hi Folks, I'm curious what would be the best practice to extend the Date constructor. The problem I'm facing is, that the Internet Explorer (< 7+8) can't parse a date like new Date('2010-05-11'); I have to admit that this is not a standard method to parse, anyways FireFox and Chrome perform well on that kind of date string. Now I'm wondering, should I just split/parse/rebuild the string before calling new Date() or is there a more elegant solution ?
