It can be any domain having link to another domain). 2) When I click on this link from my Facebook profile, then this website will open in new tab. 3) I want to calculate time difference in miliseconds or microseconds between below two events: First Event: Time of clicking link "http://www.webdeveloper.com/" from my Facebook profile.     I just began to discover Ubuntu One. I upload a video on my account, and put it in a folder. I would like to know whether it is possible to share this folder or this file simply by giving the url in forum (in a message), so that anyone can download the file, with no need to have an Ubuntu One account.     We are planning to build a Web Based School/College ERP. The main problem we face is Hardware support. Since it is Web Based, it is not possible to implement Biometrics. But most of our clients do ask for Biometrics. I hope we need to use a desktop application to do that. Can you please give some suggestions for this? Another thing is, here we don't have stable internet connection. We frequently face disconnection. This is another problem for Web Based CRM. In HTML5 there is a feature called Offline storage. Is it possible to use this feature for such dynamic ERP? For example, let's say we need to enter marks for the students. Net got disconnected. Is it possible to use HTML5 offline feature to save the marks offline and upload them when we got connection back?

  • Unattended Fedora kickstart that works as CD/DVD *and* USB

    Is it possible to create one ISO with one kickstart file that will work correctly when written to CD/DVD and as a USB? As far as I can tell I need two separate versions as modifications are needed in isolinux.cfg (ks=) and ks.cfg (because I access the install media in %post) It seems odd isolinux.cfg doesn't default to the root of the installation media and that kickstart doesn't have a global define for the source media device. Or is there an alternative to kickstart?

  • Free or very Cheap VPN server software with high concurrent users count

    I'm hoping to implement a VPN whereby about 200 concurrent users can log in to briefly access my network. I had a look at OpenVPN and this seemed excellent, but was hoping that there would be a less costly option on a per-concurrent-user basis. I've no need for particularly strong security, and my only other requirement is that I would need to be able to add users in bulk via csv or similar. Does anyone have any suggestions?

  • Problem with entityForName & ManagedObjectContext when extending tutorial material

    Afternoon all, I tried to add a second data entity to the persistent store in the (locations) coredata tutorial code, and then access this in a new view. I think that I've followed the tutorial, and checked that I'm doing a clean build etc, but can't see what to change to prevent it crashing. I'm afraid I'm at my wits end with this one, and can't seem to find the step that I've missed. I've pasted the header and code files below, please let me know if I need to share any more of the code.   • Hosting django backend for iPhone / Android app

    I am looking to make an iPhone / Android app for my university using the Appcelerator Titanium framework. The app will rely heavily on a server backend which will pull information from other sites, figuring out what is relevant to the user then deliver the content. Some of the information is individual to the user (calendar data), other bits are updates frequently but are shared (bus timetables) and others are static and the same for everyone (magazine articles). I was going to use django as I am fairly proficent in python so I thought it would save time. My question is, which hosting services do you recommend to host the server backend? I am expecting about 9000 people to use the app with very random spikes in traffic, but unfortunately I have very little to go on at this stage. I have heard a lot about Webfaction, is it suitable for something like this or am I likely to need something bigger? I don't really want to fork out for a VPS at this stage. What about Amazons EC2? Would that be more suitable than Webfaction? Sorry for the fairly open ended question, Im sort of new to this so I open to all suggestions.

Resetting the simulator solved all my troubles before, and I've gone on to complete my App. I now have the exact same problem when installing the app onto my iPhone device. (I've so far tried regular app deletion, deleting and then holding home and power for a reboot, cursing at and threatening the app while running it... everything) 2) How do I prevent this happening when my application is in the App store, and I for some reason decide that I want to add another entity to the store, or another attribute to the existing entities? is there an "if x doesn't exist then create it" method?

    I've got a basic photo album application, on the first view a list of albums is displayed with a subtitle showing how many images are in each album. I've got everything working to add albums, and add images to albums. The problem is that the image count lines are accurate whenever the app loads, but I can't get them to update during execution.     morning all, I've been browsing around trying to work out what I've done wrong when trying to add a thumbnail to a gallery view, but can't work out what on earth it might be. I'm trying to use the following code to stick a thumbnail onto a blank view: UIImageView *any = [[UIImageView alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(a,b,70,60)]; any.image = [UIImage imageNamed:selectedThumbPath]; any.tag = 0; [self.view addSubview:any]; In the above example: a = 165 b = 150 selectedThumbPath = the full path to a thumbnail ie. /users/Cleverbum/library etc I'm pulling my hair out, there are no error messages, and no clues as to why it's not drawing anything. What's worse is that this is one of the only parts of the code i've not changed!

The problem I have is that whenever I re-compile my application it changes the folder to which the application is installed. Is there any way I can specify which folder it should build to, so that any path information stored during it's last run will still be valid?

    I have a string that is read from a usb apogee camera that is a 12-bit grayscale image with the 12-bits each occupying the lowest 12 bits of 16-bits words. I want to create a 8-bit png from this string by ignoring the lowest 4 bits. I can convert it to a 16-bit image where the highest 4 bits are always zero using PIL with import Image imageStr is the image string imageSize is the image size img=Image.fromstring("I", imageSize, imageStr, "raw", "I;16", 0,1) img.save("MyImage.png", "PNG") Anyway I can do something similar to create a 8-bit image without completely unpacking the string doing arithmetic and making a new string?

  • Windows Sharepoint Services - FullTextSqlQuery Document library Unable to find items created by SYST

    We have created an ASP.NET web app that upload files to WSS Doc Libary. The files get added under 'SYSTEM ACCOUNT' in the library. The FullTextSqlQuery class is used to search the document libary items. But it only searches files that has been uploaded by a windows user account like 'Administrator' and ignores the ones uploaded by 'SYSTEM ACCOUNT'. As a result the search results are empty even though we have the necessary data in the document library. What could be the reason for this?
