  • Trouble with client side validation using Struts 2. Xml based validation rules not recognized.

    Hi, This is my first post to ask a question on stack overflow and my issue is that when I don't see a client side validation error message when I don't enter any values for that field even when it is configured as required. The input page is reloaded but no error message is seen. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My scenario is given below: I have a simple form where I have a pull down menu called selection criterion. A value must be selected. If a value is not selected, then the page should reload with configured error message. There are two problems here a) the file is somehow corrupt ( it was a document imported into drive, so that failed, but that isn't something I care about for the purposes of this question ) b) The file shows up as existing in some API calls, but calls to read comments with the Drive SDK comments API fail.     I wanted to know if that has any ill effects under any circumsatnce. For ex: Ex1: void* func1() { void* p_ref = NULL; //function scope static variable static int var1 = 2; p_ref = &var1; return p_ref; } Ex2: //file scope static variable static int var2 = 2; void* func2() { void* p_ref = NULL; var2 = 3; p_ref = &var2; return p_ref; } So in the above two cases what is the difference apart from the fact that var1 is function scope and var2 is file scope.     We have performed following steps as of now- Install TFS2010 10.0.30319.1 (RTM) on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise(app tier) SQL 2008 SP1 with Cumulative update 2 on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise(data tier) Reporting Service is installed on app tier. After this installation worked fine we installed SharePoint 2010 on app tier. After installation we followed http://blogs.msdn.com/b/team_foundation/archive/2010/03/06/configuring-sharepoint-server-2010-beta-for-dashboard-compatibility-with-tfs-2010-beta2-rc.aspx for configuration. We are not able to perform the last step described in the link as following error occured- TF249063: The following Web service is not available: http://apptier:31254/_vti_bin/TeamFoundationIntegrationService.asmx. This Web service is used for the Team Foundation Server Extensions for SharePoint Products. The underlying error is: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.. Verify that the following URL points to a valid SharePoint Web application and that the application is available: http://apptier:31254. If the URL is correct and the Web application is operating normally, verify that a firewall is not blocking access to the Web application.   • Win 2003 Terminal Server, Logoff Domain Users after 30 mins

    We have a terminal server in our environment, where Domain\Domain Users can login through Remote Desktop. We want to force log off these users after half an hour. However Administrators (this includes Domain\Domain Admin also) should not be affected by this. They should be able to connect to terminal server with out any interruption.     As I know, In TFS2010, One Build Controller serves One Project Collection. And, ideally one build server should have One build controller into it. Can two or more build controller can run at a same time. Because the link suggests that, we need to switch between controllers .... Is it that, we can use one controller at a time.

All these users along with domain admins login to this terminal server via Remote Desktop. I want to force logoff only for "domain\domain users" not for administrators and domain admin. In some cases(mostly scrum projects, i guess), i get "The Webpage can not be found". In other cases- Unable to refresh data for a data connection in the workbook. I have even added android:cacheColorHint="#00000000" as provided info by some other blogs.

    I have Listview and Textview inside it now the thing is that i want to change the Text Color over the Selection of the that cell in the Listview but setting setTextHighlightColor of Textview is not giving this output I have tired setting a selector for this but that is not Heling too. Can this be solved. What might be causing the issue to populate.   • Grouping problem with postback in SPGridview

    I have a SPGridView with a custom CheckBox Template in it. To access the value of the checkbox I have created the SPGridView in Page_Init method. It was working fine. I also have grouping in the grid. It was working fine till I made any postback in the page. To overcome that I created my own custom GridView and overrided the LoadControlState event. Now the problem is when I use this Custom Grid in my page the LoadControlState event occurs after the Init event and hence the grid doesnt render on the page. When i keep it in Page_Load it works fine but my custom checkbox template creates a problem then. How do I get both the custom Checkbox Template and grouping with postback in the SPGridview working properly??? Please help as this is really getting me stuck.........

    Hello, With Android-Emulator I am not able to write/create a file on the SD Card (for logging).
