SharePoint Saturday Huntsville in need of Speakers and Sponsors…

So I’ve been to events with Cathy, Lori, and Laura. They are good people. Honestly, the best event I ever attended was SharePoint Saturday Ozarks. I had a crappy week and I got there the actual day of the event. Hanging out with the three of them plus Joy made everything so much better. Then there was devLink and SharePoint Saturday DC and a few other events sprinkled into the mix. I was going to attend Birmingham but the timing was bad and other things occurred. Now I have the opportunity to attend Huntsville. I know some of you are thinking Alabama what’s to offer there? You won’t know until you go to the event. South Florida Code Camp and Other Events

My grandmother wanted me to make her a video when she heard I got MVP in SharePoint Server of one of my sessions. I decided I haven’t visited in two years, so maybe I can do an in person session. I googled around and found South Florida Code Camp, which will be Saturday, February 12th. I will be doing a session at 9:50 in the morning on Silverlight just for my grandmother and whoever shows up. Here is the link for more information: http://www.fladotnet.com/codecamp/. In the upcoming months I plan to return to SharePoint Saturday speaking. We are also organizing another New York event on Saturday, July 30th. We will open up submissions for sponsors and speakers somewhere after Best Practices Conference in LaJolla. I will be speaking at Best Practices LaJolla and the The Expert’s Conference in the upcoming months. I am really sorry for the lack of updates it’s just been incredibly crazy going back and forth to DC and not having internet on weekdays or having the slowest internet in the world has just not helped. I am also trying to attend Coders 4 Charity this year, so I can visit some people in St. Louis. I’ve already got an incredibly crazy schedule going for the year. I might be helping organize more events. I’m going to volunteer at New York Code Camp too doing whatever they need this year. Check back for more updates. SharePoint Conference 2012–How To Find Me

Hey guys I will be at the conference if you don’t follow me on twitter and you want to find me. Look around the Women in SharePoint area in the Community Lounge. If you don’t find me at the Community Lounge then I would say try to look at the Planet Technologies booth for me. If you don’t find me in that booth then try Booth #22 the SharePoint Pavilion. If I’m not in any of these places I’m either in a session, sleeping, running, or wearing a cloaking device. You can ask me all kinds of questions about Planet, Women in SharePoint, and such. SharePoint Saturday Huntsville Wrap Up

So, Cathy Dew (@catpaint1) and company put on a great SharePoint Saturday event this past weekend. I got to hang out with some old friends and meet some new ones. I’d list you all, but I’d undoubtedly miss someone and don’t want to offend anyone. Although I find it odd that I see @MossLover now more since she moved to New Jersey than when she lived next door in Kansas City… what’s up with that? Anyway, Cathy did a tremendous job organizing the event. Everything went smoothly and everyone had a great time. Maybe I can talk her into organizing the rest of SharePoint Saturday Ozarks on June 12th… you know that’s coming up? right? This continues to be my most popular presentation. I try to tweak it every time and I always have fun doing it.
