  • Facebook Like not Pulling Title

    I am having some issues with the new facebook like button. It shows up fine, however for some reason it's not pulling the title of the page. I have the and I am using og:title, all are filled in, when I view the source of the iframe created on the load of he button, the in there is blank. I am also trying to put the tweetmeme and that's seeing that title and not the meta, or the normal page title.     Hi All, I'm having an interesting experience with my wireless card at the moment. Basically, it does like this: I connect to the local wireless network (netgear router) It works, briefly, allowing me to browse a webpage or maybe two, if I'm lucky. It then stops working / sending any packets, whilst reported still connected. I can also ping 192.168.0.1 -I wlan0 and arping 192.168.0.1 -I wlan0 the router until the network falls over. uname -r:2.6.32.10-90.fc12.x86_64. Laptop is a Core2 Duo (2Ghz) with 3GB RAM. Other symptoms I've noticed are that wireshark freezes when I capture on the "broken" interface until I disconnect. Am using networkmanager as per normal. Stupidly, I can connect to the same router via eth0/a cat6 cable just fine. Everyone else can connect to the AP fine (from Windows). Yes, I'm sat right next to it and not trying to access a hotspot the other side of the world. Any ideas? Is this a broken update? (I intend to reboot and test an older kernel later)? Anyone else come across this? Edit: iwconfig wlan0 rate auto is the settings I'm using for rates. Also, according to networkmanager the network is still connected. Thanks for any pointers / advice.

    Hello all, I need to grab an UIImage from a UITextView or UILabel. I've got a method that will pull an image successfully from other types of views ( [UIViewController view], MKMapView, UIButtons) but I am just getting a white rect for my UITextView. A common pattern in the Mercurial world is to place each "official" branch into a separate repository with naming conventions like "project-crew", "project-stable", and so on. I've done exactly this. I have my default repository and then I've cloned that repository to a repo named "dev". I intend to use the default repository as my stable repo and then the dev repo as my primary development repo. Now I'm just wondering how on earth I should go about to pull and push between the default and the dev repositories?

  • al32utf8 in oracle and SQL Server and DB2 pulling data

    I have a non-utf8 oracle database running on 11.1.0.7. We need to support greek characters. So we have two options: use nvarchar, nclob fields for those fields that need greek (it is not all fields). We have tested this and gotten it to work with java coding. convert Oracle to AL32UTF8 database. I am not asking how to do this. I got this from the Oracle Site/Oracle Support. I know what is involved, lossy data, etc, increasing the size of the database. My question is we have users to our system that connect to our database with database links but work on SQL Server and IBM DB2 databases. I do not have access to those databases and I do not have experience with them. If they are not in UTF-8 databases what happens when they pull UTF8 data? I would assume that English/Ascii characters are fine and the greek will end up as junk data. I also ran Oracle Character set scanner (oracle command line utility you use to get info about the affects of a character set conversion). It says that my database will crease in sizez by about 20%. Does this have an affect on users with 3rd party databases? These are customers of our data and there is a limit to how much access I can have to them to run tests. Any information you have would be welcome.

    I have two ways that I am doing a fuzzy search for a customer. One is by an abbreviated name and the other is by the customers full name. When I take these two and then union them together (which I have read several places should remove distinct values) I get duplicates. Thinking that all I need to do is then call the .Distinct() method on this I also still get Duplicates. Do I need to implement some compare functionality in my customer object?     Hi, I have a class (DataImporter) which has the code to download an RSS feed. I also have a view and separate class (TableView) which displays the data in a UITableView and starts the parsing process, storing parsed information in an NSMutableArray (items). Now I wish to add a UIMapView which displays the items in the items NSMutableArray. I'm struggling to transfer the data into the new class (mapView) to show it in the map - and I preferably don't want to have to create a new class to download the data again for the map. Is there a way I can transfer the information from the NSMutableArray (items) to the mapView? Thanks.     I am wondering if there is an easy way, ie like a simple cron job, to regularly pull from a remote git repository to a local read only mirror for backup purposes? Ideally it would pull all branches and tags, but the master/trunk/head would be sufficient. I just need a way to make sure that if the master git server dies, we have a backup location that we could manually fail over to. (I have been googling and reading documentation for help on how to do this for quite some time now and the furthest I have gotten is a bash script that does pull's on a regular interval.)

  • Drupal Views pulling Data Fields

    I'm a little new to drupal but have been using things like devel module and theme developer to speed up the learning process. My question, is it possible to theme an entire views BLOCK from a single views tpl.php page OR even a preprocess? When I'm grabbing the $view object I can see results $node-result, it has all of the results, but it doesn't have all my views fields. I'm missing things like, node path, taxonomy titles and paths, etc. From my understanding, Drupal wants you to individually theme EACH output field. It seems rather superfluous to create so many extra templates when I've already got over HALF of my results coming through the $view object Would outputting node over field make this easier? Or am going in the wrong direction with $view-result? Thanks!

  • Automatically pulling on remote server with Git push?

    Here's what I'm trying to do: I have a GitHub repository, a portion of which I'd like to make web viewable. Right now I've cloned the repository on my own server and it works well, but in order to keep it up to date, I have to manually login and pull the latest changes. I'm not sure if this is the best idea (or the best approach), but I'd like the remote server to automatically pull whenever someone pushes to repository. GitHub makes it easy enough to run a script when someone pushes, but I'm not sure how to pull once someone does that. I was using PHP for simplicity, but just doing something like git pull naturally doesn't work because of permissions. Is this a bad idea or is there another way of achieving what I want to do? This seems like a common set up, but I wasn't sure. Thanks.

"</a>"; }; As you can see, my tables are "projects", and "links" Each is sharing a common field "id" for reference. It looks as though where both links.id and project.id are equal, it outputs anything, but when there is no links.id associated with a given $clientID the container relative to the $clientID doesn't display at all. Essentially I'm using this to add links dynamically to a specific client in this CMS and if there are no links, I want the container to show up anyway. Hopefully I've expressed myself clearly, any pointers in the right direction are appreciated. Thanks!

  • What is the best possible technology for pulling huge data from 4 remote servers

    Hello, For one of our project, we need to pull huge real time stock data from 4 remote servers across two countries. The trivial process here, check the sources for a regular interval and save the update to database. But as these are real time stock data of more than 1000 companies, I have to pull every second, which isn't good in case of memory, bandwidth I think. Please give me suggestion on which technology/platform [We are flexible here. PHP, Python, Java, PERL - anyone of them will be OK for us] we should choose, it can be achieved easily and with better performance.
