    - by Shady
    Here's the deal: Is there a way to search for an input name or type witch is not precise and fill it? For example, I want to fill any input with the name email with my email, but I maybe have some inputs named email-123, emailemail, emails etc... Is there a way to do something like * email * ? And how can I click on a link verifying some text that could be on the link, or above the link, or close, or at class etc ? ps: I'm using selenium ide with firefox

  • Which field is explain telling me to index?

    - by shady
    I don't understand what this explain statement is saying. Which field needs an index?. The first line to me is confusing because ref is null. Here's the query I'm using: SELECT pp.property_id AS 'good_prop_id', pr.site_number AS 'pr.site_number', CONCAT(pr.site_street_name, ' ', pr.site_street_type) AS 'pr.partial_addr', pr.county FROM realval_newdb.preforeclosures AS pr INNER JOIN realval_newdb.properties_preforeclosures AS pp USE INDEX (mee_id) ON (pr.mee_id = pp.mee_id) INNER JOIN listings_copy AS lc ON (pr.site_number = lc.site_number) AND (lc.site_street_name = CONCAT(pr.site_street_name, ' ', pr.site_street_type)) WHERE lc.site_county = pr.county LIMIT 1; Can anyone help me optimize this query?

    How can I do it? I was trying to enter some specified link (with urllib), but to do it, I need to log in. I have this source from the site: <form id="login-form" action="auth/login" method="post"> <div> <!--label for="rememberme">Remember me</label><input type="checkbox" class="remember" checked="checked" name="remember me" /--> <label for="email" id="email-label" class="no-js">Email</label> <input id="email-email" type="text" name="handle" value="" autocomplete="off" /> <label for="combination" id="combo-label" class="no-js">Combination</label> <input id="password-clear" type="text" value="Combination" autocomplete="off" /> <input id="password-password" type="password" name="password" value="" autocomplete="off" /> <input id="sumbitLogin" class="signin" type="submit" value="Sign In" /> Is this possible?

  • How to account for non-prime numbers 0 and 1 in java?

    - by shady
    I'm not sure if this is the right place to be asking this, but I've been searching for a solution for this on my own for quite some time, so hopefully I've come to the right place. When calculating prime numbers, the starting number that each number has to be divisible by is 2 to be a non-prime number. In my java program, I want to include all the non-prime numbers in the range from 0 to a certain number, so how do I include 0 and 1? Should I just have separate if and else-if statements for 0 and 1 that state that they are not prime numbers? I think that maybe 0 and 1 should be included in the java for loop, but I don't know how to go about doing that. for (int i = 2; i < num; i++){ if (num % i == 0){ System.out.println(i + " is not a prime number. "); } else{ System.out.println(i + " is a prime number. "); } }

  • question about offer letter from tech company [migrated]

    - by paul smith
    I just received an offer letter from a tech company and I am a curious if it is normal practice to state this in the offer letter: "Your salary will be reviewed on a regular cycle as dictated by company policy"?Is this normal? To me it sounds a little shady, but I might just be thinking too much which is why I'd like to hear from others who've seen/received offer letters before from tech companies.

  • Advice On Price Comparison Affiliate Programs

    - by pixelcook
    I want a price comparison feature on my site similar to Consumer Reports' "Price & Shop" section. They use PriceGrabber.com, but as far as I can tell they have a special deal with CR, so I can't get a similar service for my site. I've gathered that I need to use an affiliate network, but the whole thing seems so shady, I don't really know what sites are legit, and I don't know what sites offer the price comparison feature. Datafeedfile.com comes up a lot during my searches, but the ugly site makes me wary. Does anyone have any experience with this? What affiliate networks do you recommend? Or should I be looking at something else altogether?

  • Shared hosting banwidth limits

    - by mike
    I have a shared hosting account with a 20GB monthly bandwidth limit. I have exceeded my monthly limit and according to my host my counter is never reset, they say they use a continuous 30 day counter. So for example, I make payment on the 1st of each month, say I use 20GB in the last week of the month. My bandwidth counter is not reset on the 1st of the new month and my bandwidth will only become available in the last week of the new month. Is this common practice by shared hosting companies? Sounds a bit shady to me. Surely my counters should be reset on the 1st of every month when I make payment and 20GB of bandwidth should be available from the day payment is made?

  • Is it normal for programmer to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

    - by gasan
    On a current job I have 2 projects to work on. First is very huge system and the second one is smaller but it also big (first project is being developed for 12 years, second for 4 years). At first I was working only on first project and was trying to get used to it. Then I was moved to second project and tried there, so my knowledge about first project became shady. Now I have to work on both projects at the same time. It's very hard for me because despite they both use java, they use different frameworks and the amount of code and business-logic to understand is very big so I really can't hold both that projects in my head. Is it normal and I should get used to it, although my expertise became very squashy, what won't happen if I would work only on a single project? Or should I raise a concern or maybe change employer?

  • where to look for computer technician jobs

    - by Kareem
    Hi I am currently studying for the A+ certification, I plan to have it by the end of this month and I plan to go for farther education. I’ve built two high end computers by myself for a friend and family member. Install OS and everything. I’m looking in to finding either a computer assembly or computer technician job . Where is the best place to look for one? I’ve looked in to best buy but I find their geek squad to be a little bit shady. Where is a good place to look for a full time entry level computer technician job just starting out in Tampa, FL?

  • If I use openvpn, can vpn servers monitor my usernames/passwords?

    - by Duff
    Openvpn uses a type of encryption similar to ssl. This seems to suggest that even if I choose an incredibly shady VPN server, then my content will be secure. That is, the VPN server will be able to monitor what websites I patronize, but not the actual data I transfer. That said, I am not an expert at this type of thing. I wanted, therefore, to make sure that I understand correctly. Is it true that if I use openvpn that my username/passwords are secure, even if the VPN is untrustworthy? If not, why? (And how, if at all, can it be fixed?) Examples of things that I don't know much about that may (or may not! I honestly don't know much about this.) be related to my question are: DNS leakage, IPv6, tracking cookies, browser plugins and websites that don't support https.

  • Software to convert Powerpoint slideshows to images?

    - by MisterZimbu
    Is there any software out there that is able to convert a Powerpoint slideshow (either in 2003 or 2007 format) to a series of JPG or PNG images? I'm looking for either standalone software that can do this from the command line, or ideally a .NET library that can be utilized to do the conversion (not holding my breath on that last one). I know that Powerpoint itself can do the conversion, but it's something I'm looking to integrate into a web application that can't rely on PowerPoint itself being installed. I've done some searches out there, but all I can really find are either instructions on how to do this in Powerpoint, or software itself that looks like its from a very shady source.
