  • Magento Subscription Form with Image upload

    We have a peculiar requirement and our site is in magento. Requirement We want the user to fill in a personal information form with their image. After that, the user should be redirected to a product subscription page where he can select either 3 month, 6 month or on yearly basis. Now, when the selection is made, the user should make the payment via our payment method. How can I develop this? I am not able to figure it out. Should I go about editing the registration page or what? Let me know how you will deal with such a requirement?

  • Making an apache module work only for a particular sub domain

    Hi everyone. I am not a regular webmaster , I am a student working on an internship project which is an Apache2 module, so my knowledge of Apache configuration is limited. I want to configure my module for a particular sub domain of the host server. Lets say I want my module to work only for onclick.localhost , then what are the directives required ? I want the module to be invoked only for the hosts/virtualhosts for which it has been configured explicitly. I know how to setup sub domains in Apache, so that's not a problem. Thanks.

  • Migrating Magento Concern

    We have a Magento 1.5.0.1 store running at a hosting provider. Now, we need to migrate the same from that server to a new hosting provider. I had talk with a technical guy from the new hosting provider who told me to do following things. Go into the cPanel Backup Wizard . Make a FULL BACKUP and download the zip file Then upload that zip file on their server in my root folder. Then tell them and they will do the restore. My Concern :- Will everything work as expected. What about the connectionstrings and database and all. Will database be automatically created and work the same. Also, somewhere I read that ver 1.5.0.1 used older type of database which might not work on new MySQLs. Can this too have any impact. Should i proceed in the same manner or I need to take care of some additional things to ensure smooth running.

    I have one silly qus. i created one shared add-in in c#.net. This add-in is working fine. now i want this add-in is load again n again when any office application is opened. For e.g. when i open any MS word document then add-in is load for that and if after that i opened another MS word document without closing previously opened document then add-in is again load for newly opend MS word document. But when i opened MS word at first time the add-in is load and if i opened MS word again but add-in is already loaded.

    Hi, I am using appcfg.py to upload data to datastore from a csv file. But every time I try, I am getting error: [info ] Authentication failed even if i am using Admin id and password.     I want to know about the name of all currently opened MS-Word file by its unique id. I found unique id for one file but when I gave its destination path in code. My requirement is that when any user open Word file then the unique id of this file is passed into my code and through this code the name of this file is stored into database (but it is done backgroundly and for multiple files).

    I want to write a VBS script which will check if specific service is installed/exist or not locally. If it is not installed/exist, script will display message (any text) and disabled the network interface i.e. NIC. If service exist and running, NO Action. Just exit. If service exist but not running, same action, script will display message (any text) and disabled the network interface i.e. NIC. i have below given code which is displaying a message in case one service is stop but it is not - Checking if service exist or not Disabling the NIC strComputer = "." But when i opened one word document then add-in is loaded for that and if againg opened new word document then becaz of previously opened document add-in is not load for that document remember that priviously opened document is not closed. but if i closed previously opened document then for new document add-in is load.
