    I have a lot of configuration files in this format: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <XConfiguration> <XFile Name="file name 1" /> <XFile Name="name2" /> <XFile Name="name3" /> <XFile Name="name4" /> </XConfiguration> I want to use ConfigurationRepository.Get to get this object populated: public class XConfiguration { public XFile[] Files { get; set; } } I wonder what is the best way to do that. LinqToXml? I don't think ConfigurationManager is a smart option for this.

  • Extract string from string using Regex

    I want to extract MasterPage value directive from a view page. I want the fastest way to do that, taking into account a very big aspx pages, and a very small ones. I think the best way is to do that with two stages: Extract the page directive section from the view (using Regex): <%@ Page Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Views/Shared/Site.Master" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" %> Then, extract the value inside MasterPageFile attribute. The result needs to be: ~/Views/Shared/Site.Master. Can I have help from someone to implement this? I badly want to use only regex, but I don't Regex expert. Another thing, Do you think that Regex is the fastest way to do this?

    I have teamcity project that use mercurial. I did a few manually changes to the files in teamcity/buildAgent/work directory. The problem is that now I cannot update the files to the files in the repository. How can I force re checkout for the teamcity? Is there any option to get rid of the old checkout?

  • Issue with multipart upload in servlet on seam

    I created a servlet wich works fine when deployed in a separate war file, but I intend to use it as part of a seam application. I use commons-fileupload but the iterator (see snippet) returns false (only when included in the seam-app).     In his book programming in scala (Chapter 5 Section 5.9 Pg 93) Odersky mentioned this expression "bills !*&^%~ code! In the footnote on same page: "By now you should be able to figure out that given this code,the Scala compiler would invoke (bills.!*&^%~(code)).!()." That's a bit to cryptic for me, could someone explain what's going on here?

Response time, response success-failed status. Is it reasonable to collect the 1 and 2 in the same action? (like same HttpModule)? Do you know about any existing structure that I can follow that track every request/response-status to the website? The data need to be logged to sql server.

    There is no questions: UI-First Software Development. But what does it takes to do the UI first? I started to build a website, a complicated one, and know I start to concern about the UI. Instead to start coding html+css, I decided to start with SkecthFlow. now, I'm very confused. Do I want to build a exact sketch? meaning to think about colors, fonts make sure that the button will look like a web link... etc, or just build the application sketch flow? meaning put a textboxes and buttons.
