  I've seen these several times but I can't figure out how to use them. The pickaxe says that these are special shortcuts but I wasn't able to find the syntactical description. I've seen them in such contexts: [1,2,3].inject(:+) to calculate sum for example.

• emacs, colors in term-mode

  Hello, I use Emacs and I run bash with M-x term command. There is a problem: colors in the *terminal* buffer aren't the same as in Gnome Terminal, and they are worse (do you need a screen shot?). How can I fix this? This is pretty annoying :-) Thank you! • standart packages list

  Im learning puppet system and now need to do next task. So we have few servers with same OS (Altlinux p6,t6) - puppet-agents and have puppet-master. On agents installed some packages, eg. 200 packages on first, 300 on second .... But necessary only 180 installed. We know names of necessary packages but dont know names of other (unnecessary packages) So task: Have i can check or install (if not installed yet) necessary packages and delete other packages (we dont know names of other installed packages) Help please WBR Valentin

• Losing sessions with window.open and cakephp redirection in PHP with cakephp

  Hi guys, Ok, here goes a very strange problem... Our team is using cakephp to develop a large application. Everything session related is working properly so far. The only issues we've had so far are related to iframes and opening windows in other subdomains. I'll explain: User opens up site A and logs into it, creation a User in a session. Cookies are set, everything works as expected. The user clicks a link that opens up Site B via Javascript. When they go to that site, they are automatically logged in by a backend mechanism and infrastructure. Site B is a subdomain of Site A. On that site there is another mechanism to go back to the first page (a link rather) that logs them back in to site A. The fun part about this whole process is the following, and that on step 3, when we click on the link, the session on Site A has been lost. I know it's lost because it is forcing login again. I am a bit lost, as the rest of the application that work with AJAX and uses iframes and stuff works flawlessly, just this one item does not work as one would expect.
