    So, that's how works Interesting Tags: I add into them my interested tags like php, mysql, jquery and so on. Then, if any of questions has the same tags as mine it makes background orange. I understand how to use jquery to do that (there were related questions to that), but without mysql it can't be done. Now, here is a question. How is it done? I imagine like that: There is a row in mysql for every member, let's call it "interested_tags". After I write and submit my tag through input, it is being written in a row "interested_tags". Then, the main page has a query which shows all answers and it always checks answer's with mine tags with strpos like this if(strpos($question_tags, $my_tags) === true) {        //and here will be made background orange } Am I thinking right or is there any way to do it?

  • why my form is doing postback when i am calling asynchronously?

    i am using simple asp.net webpage with few fields on it and when the user click on submit button i am calling asynchronously and posting the data. BUT, my whole page is posting back and i dont even see the message that i am trying to display if my data got posted succfully. here is my page.     I have this simple script that catches all mouse clicks, unless you click on something that actually works. Links, flash videos, etc. How can I adjust this so no matter what a user clicks on, before the video loads, new page loads, etc. It sends the simple GET request I built? Is it possible to extend the small JS function above to work this way (using some document.getElementsByTag(tag).getElementsById(id).innerHTML or something alike (I don't know what exactly suites the need) in a loop?     I have built the MVC application with WCF service. The major problem I have experienced with refreshing page. I have created a login page with session (username and password). But when you refresh the home page by pressing F5, it would automatically log out. That is my problem. I need to stay the home page after refresh. I have been googling around to find a solution but it seems not helpful. Any idea? Your advise or code example much appreciated.

    Hi, so I've got this content loader that replaces content within a div with content from a separate page. But the content that arrives contains a menu that uses jQuery and this is not working. Someone told me I need to reinitialize the code. But how do I do that?     Hello, Do you think it's possible to refresh an update panel and immediately after redirecting the response (for instance a download) ? I tried this: an invisible button - as an asyncpostbacktrigger a download button - when it is clicked the onclientclick clicks the invisible button the click event on the invisible button refreshes the update panel then the download button click event launches the download (normal postback which launches the download) However for some reason when the invisible button is clicked by the download button client script, it doesn't refresh the update panel.. Do you have an idea why it doesn't work? Or do you have other and cleaner techniques?   • Multible jquery .load() methods not running concurrently in MVC 2

    In one of my aspx pages i have something like this in the head: <script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { // Jquery stuff loadStuff(); }); function loadStuff() { $('#result1').load({ source: url }); $('#result2').load({ source: url }); $('#result3').load({ source: url }); }; </script> The idea being that as the page is being displayed these loads will populate the specified divs with results from different webservices as and when the info becomes available. My problem is that this requests are being queued and being sent one at a time. However I want these to be sent at the same time and whichever returns first gets displayed first! Also if I try to kick off another request while these divs are loading the request seems to get queued after the others. How do I make these requests concurrent instead of queued? Thanks
