    Hello there, I'm trying to write an XSLT that organizes an HTML file into different section levels depending on the header level. I'm using Saxon 9 to run the xslt within Oxygen for dev. I'll be using a cmd/bat file in production. Still Saxon 9. I'd like to handle up to 4 nested section levels if possible. Any help is much appreciated! I need to append onto this as I've encountered another stipulation. I probably should have thought of this before.     Hi all, I'm developing a microsoft surface application using expression blend+vs 2008. I have a RichTextBox that loads formatted text from an .rtf file. The text is formatted with uppecases, color, and specific font (helvetica-neue).     as a user requirement I have to disable the backspace button from navigating back in the history. I cannot bind the input types as exceptions because the content editor in sharepoint allows to modify the text in div or paragraph elements etc. The solution is not working in IE8 because the event.target returns the element that is on mouseover when there's no controls that has the focus. All tips will be appreciated. Thanks!!

  • help with installing clamav for remote apache server vs WAMP localserver

    Hey guys, I have never installed an extension before so I am not really sure where to start. I want to do 2 things: install clamav virus scanner http://sourceforge.net/projects/php-clamav/ on my remote server which is a linux apache setup using cpanel as a gui. install clamav on my localserver on my home computer which operates on windows and has WAMP server installed for server-side activity What is the difference between the two installation methods?   • Is it really wrong to version documents using CouchDB's behaviour?

    This is one of those "I know I shouldn't do this but it's oh so convenient." questions. Sorry about that. I plan to use CouchDB for storing a bunch of documents and keeping their entire revision history. CouchDB does the versioning automatically, but it is strongly discouraged for programmer's use: "You cannot rely on document revisions for any other purpose than concurrency control." From what I've found on the CouchDB wiki, the versions can get deleted either during compaction or during replication. As far as I can tell, Compaction must always be triggered manually and Replication occurs only when there's more than one database server. The question is: if I won't run compaction and will use only single database instance for my documents, can I just use CouchDB's document versioning and expect it to work? What other problems I might run into? E.g. does not running compaction hurt the performance or consume significantly more disk space (than if I did handle the versioning manually)?

  • What's the best way to set cursor/caret position?

    If I'm inserting content into a textarea that TinyMCE has co-opted, what's the best way to set the position of the cursor/caret? I'm using tinyMCE.execCommand("mceInsertRawHTML", false, content); to insert the content, and I'd like set the cursor position to the end of the content. Both document.selection and myField.selectionStart won't work for this, and I feel as though this is going to be supported by TinyMCE (through something I can't find on their forum) or it's going to be a really ugly hack. Later: It gets better; I just figured out that, when you load TinyMCE in WordPress, it loads the entire editor in an embedded iframe. Later (2): I can use document.getElementById('content_ifr').contentDocument.getSelection(); to get the selection as a string, but not a Selection Object that I can use getRangeAt(0) on. Making progress little by little.

    In chrome, safari, and opera setting the background image to an absolute reference such as: "/images/image.png" changes it to "http://sitepath/images/image.png". It does not do this in firefox. Is there any way to avoid this behavior, or is it written into the browser's javascript engine? Using jquery to set the background-image also does this problem. The problem is that I am posting the HTML to a php script that needs the urls in this specific format. I know that setting the image path relative fixes this, but I can't do that. The only other alternative would be to use a regexp. to convert the urls. Thanks.   • How do I run an XSLT file?

    Alright this seems like a stupid question but I can't figure it out. I'm writing an XSLT file to translate an XML document into an XHTML document. I've used both Visual Studio and XML Notepad 2007 to preview the results of my XSLT file, but now I want to actually write out a real XHTML file so I can see how it looks in other browsers. Neither Visual Studio or XML NotePad have an obvious way to save the preview. Am I missing something. Obviously the file is getting created because something is being previewed, but I need to know where that file is being created or better yet choose its location.

    I've got a JavaScript that produces a slideshow. It loads the pictures before starting the actual slideshow. By fading I mean either have the old picture fade out, the new fade in or possibly and most likely both fade in/out. Can this be achieved with pure JavaScript and no jQuery or Ajax?

  • Why do most Database developers hate Agile

    To me "Agile" methodology is a common-sense oriented approach and one that should likely be adopted for most software projects. I find that while a lot of Middle Tier Developers and Front End developers find it a very sensible project delivery model, plenty of Database developers (and good ones) seem to be totally against it. They are very keen on knowing the biggest picture and designing a database solution that will cater to that. They do not seem to like "Vertical striping" of a functionality. They would rather see the complete design document/feature document instead of concentrating on small user stories. Sarcasm aside, can someone realistically provide some insight as to why this mentality is prevalent? Especially DB devs? What would be a convincing argument against that?

    I have a strange problem that probably have a really simple explanation that i've just havn't found. I'm making a WordPress plugin and i want to use jQuery in my settings-page for the plugin. My JS functions look like this: jQuery(document).ready(function() { alert('load test'); //ADMIN FUNCTION $('#mrc_imp_img').click(function(){ alert("test"); }); //FRONT END FUNCTION $("ul.mrc li").hover(function() { $(this).find('p').fadeIn(); } , function() { $(this).find('p').fadeOut(); }); }); The "load test"-alert is being loaded when the document is ready so jquery is properly loaded. The front end function is being used on pages and that's working fine to. the problem is the admin function, it's not working at all. is there a speial way i have to write a .click()-function to get it to work on my settings-page for the wordpress plugin?

This could mean that you have incorrectly nested elements -- such as a "style" element in the "body" section instead of inside "head" -- or two elements that overlap (which is not allowed). One common cause for this error is the use of XHTML syntax in HTML documents. Due to HTML's rules of implicitly closed elements, this error can create cascading effects. For instance, using XHTML's "self-closing" tags for "meta" and "link" in the "head" section of a HTML document may cause the parser to infer the end of the "head" section and the beginning of the "body" section (where "link" and "meta" are not allowed; hence the reported error).     I'm working with an existing database schema, and trying to setup two Doctrine models with a Many to Many relationship, as described in this document When creating tables from scratch, I have no trouble getting this working. However, the existing join tables use a different naming convention that what's described in the Doctrine document. Specifically Table 1 -------------------------------------------------- table_1_id ....other columns.... Table 2 -------------------------------------------------- table_2_id ....other columns.... Join Table -------------------------------------------------- fktable1_id fktable_2_id Basically, the previous developers prefaced all forign keys with an fk. From the examples I've seen and some brief experimenting with code, it appears that Doctrine 1.2 requires that the join table use the same column names as the tables it's joining in Is my assumption correct? If so, has the situation changed in Doctrine 2? If the answers to either of the above are true, how do you configure the models so that all the columns "line up"

    I have created a rotating banner script for a new site I'm developing View banner here(it rotates every 10 seconds) Unfortunately to the transition seems to be a biut buggy, and the image will fade out, show the same image again and then fade in the new one.   • How do I clear a WebView's content before loading a page?

    I have an embedded WebView in my Cocoa application in which I load an external web page. Each time the user clicks on a button, the view opens and shows the page. The problem is that the second time the user opens the WebView, the previous page is still visible. Instead I'd like to show a blank/empty page (together with a progress indicator). How can I clear a WebView before loading a new page? This is a VBS script that opens google, fills a form, and clicks a search button. set ie = CreateObject("InternetExplorer.Application") ie.navigate("www.google.com") ie.visible = true while ie.readystate <> 4 wscript.sleep 100 WEnd set fields = ie.document.getelementsbyname("q") set buttons = ie.document.getelementsbyname("btnG") fields(0).value = "some query" buttons(0).click ie.quit Sub OnClickSub() MsgBox "button clicked!", 0 End Sub Obviously, buttons(0).click fires an onclick event of the button, which I somehow need to catch in my script, and provide it with some processing like launching OnClickSub(). Has anyone got any ideas how this should be done?
