    I am told that the configuration below is possible, but have had significant difficulty in finding instructions on how to set it up. While I'm trying to muddle my way through this on my own, maybe stack-overflow knows of better sources for documentation: I am looking for a walkthrough, including a downloadable, working example, for setting up the following configuration: Server-side .net application (For .net 2.0 or higher), installed/deployed as a windows' service (that is, not served through IIS), and accessed by a client tool that is completely implemented in JavaScript.

  • Is there a template engine for Node.js?

    I'm kind of falling in love with Node.js not because you write app code in javascript but because of its performance. I really don't care a lot about how beautiful a server side language might be but how much requests per second it can handle. So anyway I'm looking forward to experiment building an entire webapp using Node.js (and going back to the actual question) is there a template engine similar to let's say the django template engine or something similar (that at least allows you to extend base templates) available for Node.js?

    Hi, I am a mobile web developer and trying to monetize my traffic with mobile ad services and i have a problem. First of all to get most of out of your ads you usually need to do server side request to advert company's servers and there are quite few ad services. Problem starts when you want to use them in one site. All have different approaches to server side calls and trying to maintain and implement those ad codes becomes pain after a while. So I decided to write a class system where i can simply create methods for every company and upload it to my site. So far i have public Advert class public AdPublisher class with GetAd method that returns an Advert public Adservice class that has Service names as enum I also have converted server request codes of all ad services i use to classes. It works ok but I want to be able to create an ad service class upload it so that asp.net app can import/recognize it automatically like a plugin system. As I am new to .net I have no idea where to start or how to do it.     Is there a color picker dialog for Qt like the following? Also it needs to have a OnColorChanged signal which is called when ever the selected color changes. I want to give a live preview when they are changing the colors, that is why. Using google I could only find this one that was a triangle in side of a circle and personally I think it looks ugly.

I have an "export" button which I want to take a load of data generated, create a CSV file, then pop up a Save File As dialog box, to save that file on their local machine.   • How to play music on site preventing easy direct file download

    I'm starting a blog with a hosted wordpress instance and i would like to be able to stream music using a flash player on some posts. The problem is that every player i find uses a simple param to get the file url which makes it very easy for someone to find that url and just download the file. I know that it's probably impossible to prevent this all together, but i at least don't want it to be obvious. A server side solution can be implemented as i have full access to the server.

    I do the following to a loading animation, to place it at the bottom center of the screen. CGPoint bottomCenter = CGPointMake((self.imageView.bounds.size.width / 2), (self.imageView.bounds.size.height * 0.8)); self.activityView.center = bottomCenter; (imageView is the full screen splash image) If the orientation is portrait, it is positioned perfectly, however turning on its side, in landscape or upside down portrait and the animation ends up miles away :S Does anyone know the correct way to position this loading animation, its for the splash screen.

I'm getting this error when trying to access to any of the provided methods The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Negotiate'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Negotiate,NTLM I checked many google links and no luck so far- No idea what else to check on my side.

  • Prevent form to repost on refresh

    Given is a form that is followed by a confirmation page where you have to confirm you entered data of previous form. Now if the user refreshes this recapitulation page, the data form the previous form reposts. Is there a way to prevent that in JavaScript? I know its not a ideal solution, it should happen on the server side. But i have no choice in this case.
