I want to make such system which will be storing one telnet connection per switch and every script (web interface, cron jobs, etc.) will have access to it.     Hello everybody, I have to solve an exercise using awk. Basically I need to retrieve from 'ps aux' command the total of memory usage for each user and format like this: User Total%Mem user1 3.4% user2 1.5% and so on. The problem I can't seem to solve is: how do I know how many users are logged in? And how can I make a different sum for each one of them? Thank you :)

    Hello It seems the most common aproach to web design is to use HTML/XHTML & CSS in conjunction with other technologies or languages like Javascript or PHP. On a theoretical level, I'm interested to know what other languages or technologies could be used to build an entire site without using a single HTML tag or CSS style for styling/positioning? Could a website be made only using XML or PHP alone, including actual styling and positioning? Presumably Flash sites are till embedded in HTML tags? Thanks

    I'm new to PHP so maybe I am overlooking something here but the following: class someClass { var $id = $_GET['id']; function sayHello() { echo "Hello"; } } gives the following error: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in C:\xampp\htdocs\files\classes.php on line 13 If instead of $_GET['id'] I set the variable $id to a string, everything is fine though.

    Hello All: I am an issue while converting "March 16-17" to DateTime and saving it to SQL server. "March 16-17" as it looks, read as March 16 to March 17, which in my case is invalid, but C# DateTime.TryParse() is treating "March 16 -17" as March 16, 2017 which is wrong, and saving the data in SQL server. SQL server treats "March 16-17" as invalid. So, can some body tell me how to use SQL server datetime validation in C#. Thanks Ashwani
