• Android webview cookie problem

  I have a video link in a web view, on the emulator, I hear the audio and no video is displayed. I think this is an emulator issue. I tried on my Nexus One, when I click the link, it opens a new webview and tries to access the server almost immediately reverts back to the webview and does not show the video. Logcat says: WARN/ResponseProcessCookies(486): Cookie rejected: "BasicClientCookie[version=0,name=GX,domain=mail.google.com,path=/proxy/gmail/mail,expiry=Tue Mar 22 19:55:33 EDT 2011]". Illegal domain attribute "mail.google.com". Domain of origin: "android.clients.google.com" How can I fix this?

• Problem with files consists of spaces and single quotes?

  I'using the following code to create thumbnails using ffmpeg but it was working fine for the files which have no spaces or any quotes.. But when the file has a space (like 'sachin knock.flv') or files which have quotes (like sachin's_double_cent.mp4) it doesn't work.. What can i do to get those files work accurately? One restriction is that i can't rename files as they are lump some..   Hello Ive a website that create avatars for users and provide them with link for avatar to use it in their website or singuters etc , my problems is the website based on flash . the main page has 1 swf file that load other swfs used to create avatars , if someone knows the link for the these swf files he can download them which means he can have all the website lets say: www.test.com as main page which load main swf and other swfs files which located at www.test.com/resources/flash/swffiles/file1.swf anyone can grap these files and have all the website which is a big security breach ive trying so many way protect these files from not download but protecting them means the main swf cant talk to them and cant load the main page correctaly , any suggestion for these .. thanks in advance

  I have a page with a link. On clicking the link a page opens up in a separate window. This new page has a form. On submitting this form, some operation takes place at the server. The result of which needs to be redirected to the same page. However after the operation on using the following: return new ModelAndView("newUser"); //This view "newUser" actually maps to the popped up window. A similar new window again pops up and the message gets displayed on this new page. Any ideas as to why this behavior or how to go about this?

  Hi all, I'm using the function preg_replace but I cannot figure out how to make it work, the function just doesn't seem to work for me. What I'm trying to do is to convert a string into a link if any word contains the % (percentage) character. For instance if I have the string "go to %mysite", I'd like to convert the mysite word into a link. • Linking Libraries in Xcode

  Hey all, I'm using a powerbook (osx 10.5) and recently downloaded and installed FFTW 3.2 (link text). I've been able to compile and run some simple programs based on the online tutorial using the terminal: g++ main.cpp -lfftw3 -lm however, I can't get the same program to compile in Xcode. I get a linking error, "symbol(s) not found". There is a file called libfftw3.a in /usr/local/lib. How can this be linked? Furthermore, apparently the libraries have to be linked in a particular order, i.e. see: link text thanks for any help

• How do I combine an unmanaged dll and a managed assembly into one file?

  SQLite from PHX Software has combined a managed assembly (System.Data.SQLite) with an unmanaged dll (the SQLite 32- or 64-bit dll) into one file, and managed to link them together. How do I do this? Do I need to embed the managed assembly into the unmanaged dll, or vice versa? ie. my questions are: In which order do I need to do this? What tools or knowledge do I need in order to do this? How (if different) do I link to the exported functions from the unmanaged dll in my managed code? The reason I ask this is that I want to build a managed zLib wrapper. I know there is managed classes in .NET but from experience they're a bit limited (and a bit boneheaded in that they don't do proper buffering), so I'd like to create my own copy, also because I want to learn how to do this. So does anyone know what I need to do and how?

I made a simple link like this: <%= link_to "Alex Link", alexes_path(@alex) %> then I routed it in routes.rb like this: resources :alexes get "home/index" then I am a bit unclear, but I think it goes to this part of the controller: def index #@alexes = Alex.all respond_to do |format| format.html # index.html.erb format.json { render json: @alexes } end end Am I correct that it goes to this part of the controller? Then nothing much happens and it goes to the next page which is index.html.rb under views\alexes So what I am wondering is - if I needed to do some business logic, would I write that in the controller snippet? Where inside the snippet? An example would be nice to take a look. Also, I would like to connect to a MongoDb database. Would I also write that in the middle of the controller? Thanks!

• How to use libraries compiled with MingW in MSVC?

  Hello, I have compiled several libraries with MingW/MSYS... the generated static libraries are always .a files. When I try to link the library with a MSVC project, Visual Studio throws 'unresolved external symbols' ... It means that the .a static library is incompatible with MS C++ Linker. I presume it has to be converted to a MSVC compatible .lib file. Either .a and .lib are just AR archives of .o or .obj files, so is there any way how to use MingW compiled libs in a MSVC project? Or do I have to compile/link everything just in one compiler/linker - MSVC only/MingW only? The MingW compiler is said to be compatible with MSVC. I read a few threads about this topic, but they mostly say that renaming the file to .lib should do the work, but it unfortunately doesn't work for me. Thanks for any advice.

  I am creating an extension where I need to insert a link into the gmail window. I am able to create a simple extension button in the top of the window and execute code that does replaces all the links. Now, I want to do add links in the contenteditable section as I type. It seems like there should be a simple way to replace text with a link in the document object model. If this is not true I need to do three things. Insert text from the current caret position Capture the caret position. Set the caret position by its offset. I have tried using window.getSelection within the gmail context(that is a body element that is set to contenteditable and embedded inside an iframe in the gmail tab) to get the current range and position. The selection is always empty and contains no ranges regardless of whether text is selected or not.

• XSS exploit when JavaScript is disabled

  I'm getting pretty frustrated trying to make McAffee whitelist a supposed exploit on a site i work on. The issue is that their automated system has detected a supposed XSS exploit but the exploit only exists when JavaScript is disabled. Given the fact that you need JavaScript to be disabled for the exploit to exist then surely this means this is not an exploit. Can anyone think of any possible arguments to the contrary? Update - To add more detail: The problem comes from in one place unsanitized URL content is written to an anchor tag href.So, with JS disabled you could have something like this: <a href="foor.php?"><script>alert('foo')</script>#someanchor" .. When JavaScript is enabled this href is updated to be this (on dom ready): <a href="javascript:;">link</a> So, with JS enabled the link is no longer injected, with JS disabled the alert would no longer execute.

  I'm trying to link to a static library and I keep getting linker errors. I've found a few sites that post examples but I have not been able to see what I am doing wrong. First I create a project that will link to my lib add existing files find my .xcodeproj file select "Copy items into destination groups folder"... Select my host project as Add To Targets. Then I add a direct dependency to my host app expand targets double click MyHost.app click + under direct dependencies select my lib Then I set build flags double click MyHost application icon in Groups and Files. click the build tab then I set the OtherLinerFlag to -ObjC then I set Header Search Paths to my header file location for my static library. I pass the compile stage but any classes in my static lib cause linker error: literal-pointer@_OBJC@_cls_refs@SomeClass in MyHost.o thanks!

  Hello, I have a html page, and when I click a file link on the page, the file download dialog pops up, and this file dialog locks the page. I mean without selecting one of the choices(Open, Save, Cancel) I can't do anything on the page (which is normal). What I need is if javascript can check whether the page is locked or not. (or whether the file dialog is popped?) p.s. don't say "put an onclick event to the link", because the server may respond very slowly (like 30 seconds after clicking)

  Hi, I am working on a shopping cart(open cart) software and have this question. I am not familiar with mvc framework. What i want to know how to show content(mysql) inside a div when you click on a link. There will be 8-10 links and clicking on each should fetch its corresponding products. So for example category 1 | category 2 | category 3 show [products from category 1] when clicked on "category 1" and same way for the other two. the problem is the url for each link will have the category id so when clicked it will fetch its own products inside this div.
