    This is a slightly version of other question posted here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2888880/xslt-change-node-inner-text Imagine i use XSLT to transform the document: <a> <b/> <c/> </a> into this: <a> <b/> <c/> Hello world </a> In this case i can't use neither the <xsl:strip-space elements="*"/> element or the [normalize-space() != ''] predicate since there is no text in the place where i need to put new text. Any ideas? Thanks.

  • inputMismatchException Java reading doubles from plain text file

    Using double variable = inputFile.nextDouble(); Gives the mismatch error and I can't figure out why... Anyone know what's up? The input file is just a bunch of doubles like 5.0... As far as what its expecting the format of the file to be... I suppose binary? isn't that the default? I didn't specify in the code...

    I'm using the Twitter API streaming to collect thousand of tweets every minute. They need to be matched to a list of keywords (can contain spaces). This is my current method: $text = preg_replace( '/[^a-z0-9]+/i', ' ', strtolower( $data['text'] ) ); $breakout = explode( " ", $text ); $result = array_intersect( $this->_currentTracks, $breakout ); I chop the tweet into words, and the matches them against my current keywords. This works well for all the keywords without a space ofc. If I wanted to find for example "Den Haag", It won't show up, because the string is exploded into words (based on the spaces). Any ideas about how I can do this in a quick way? Kind regards, Tim

  • Manager property is not available for Full Text Search (SharePoint 2010)

    Hi, I had created a web part on MOSS 2007 which displays a organizational chart by searching (Full Text) the user profiles. To identify the subordinates of a user, I used to search for users with the particular user in Manager property. The query looked like this: SELECT AccountName, PreferredName, Manager, WorkEmail FROM scope() WHERE ("SCOPE" = 'People') AND Manager = 'domain\parent_user' But, the same query does not run in SharePoint 2010 as Manager crawled property does not exists. So, I created a new crawled property and mapped it to People:Manager(Text) now, the Manager property is always empty. Even a full crawl after clearing the indexes also not helping. Can anyone please help me in getting manager information in Full Text Search? Thanks in advance!

For usability purposes, I want a single left click anywhere within the div to select the entire link: I don't know much about, javascript/web programming, so I've tried the following: <div id="share_link" onClick="select_all('share_link')"><%= request.url %></div> and this javascript <script type="text/javascript"> function select_all(id) { document.getElementById(id).focus(); } </script> This doesn't work. I'd like to know what's the simplest thing I should do to achieve what I want. I thought about changing the div to a text input or the text within to be a link, but ideally the content within should be read-only, non-editable, and non-clickable

  • C# matching two text files, case sensitive issue

    What i have is two files, sourcecolumns.txt and destcolumns.txt. What i need to do is compare source to dest and if the text doesnt match write out to a new file.   • Parse items from text file

    I have a text file that includes data inside {[]} tags. What would be the suggested way to parse that data so I can just use the data inside the tags? Example text file would look like this: 'this is a bunch of text that is not {[really]} useful in any {[way]}. I need to {[get]} some items {[from]} it.' I would like to end up with 'really', 'way', 'get', 'from' in a list. I guess I could use split to do it.. but seems like there might be a better way out there. I have seen a ton parsing libraries, is there one that would be perfect for what I want to do?

  • [cli/linux] get plain text from raw emails (not attachments extraction)

    Hi, having a raw email as input (i.e. the text between "DATA" and "." sent by a smtp client) I need to extract the mail content (which I know is always text only) as plain text. This means decoding transfer encoding (if any: could be base64 or quoted-printable), merging mutiparts (if any), and stripping headers. I tried various tools that would do that: mewdecode, uudecode, uudeview... I only managed to get this last one to work, but it won't output anything if the mail is not MIME encoded and it stores its output in an unpredictable (nor forceable) filename, so it's hard to use it in a not-interactive shell script. Since this is a pretty common job (every mail client have to do that), it's weird it's so complicated. Do you have some hints? (Actually, forcing uudeview to output in a certain file would be good enough). Thank you!

  • Select text in edit window using DPAD

    I am using the DPAD controls to highlight text in android text-widget. I am wondering is there is any way that when i highlight the text, it selects it also. Right now when i highlight and try to bring the context menu, the first context menu I get is the one with options to select word, select all etc. and when i do select word, it selects the entire region highlighted(which is okay , but i wanted it to select while am highlighting) so that i could get the cut/copy and paste context menu directly. Any tips? Thanks a lot.

  • Recover that Photo, Picture or File You Deleted Accidentally

    Have you ever accidentally deleted a photo on your camera, computer, USB drive, or anywhere else? What you might not know is that you can usually restore those pictures—even from your camera’s memory stick. Windows tries to prevent you from making a big mistake by providing the Recycle Bin, where deleted files hang around for a while—but unfortunately it doesn’t work for external USB drives, USB flash drives, memory sticks, or mapped drives. The great news is that this technique also works if you accidentally deleted the photo… from the camera itself. That’s what happened to me, and prompted writing this article. Restore that File or Photo using Recuva The first piece of software that you’ll want to try is called Recuva, and it’s extremely easy to use—just make sure when you are installing it, that you don’t accidentally install that stupid Yahoo! toolbar that nobody wants. Now that you’ve installed the software, and avoided an awful toolbar installation, launch the Recuva wizard and let’s start through the process of recovering those pictures you shouldn’t have deleted. The first step on the wizard page will let you tell Recuva to only search for a specific type of file, which can save a lot of time while searching, and make it easier to find what you are looking for. Next you’ll need to specify where the file was, which will obviously be up to wherever you deleted it from. Since I deleted mine from my camera’s SD card, that’s where I’m looking for it. The next page will ask you whether you want to do a Deep Scan. My recommendation is to not select this for the first scan, because usually the quick scan can find it. You can always go back and run a deep scan a second time. And now, you’ll see all of the pictures deleted from your drive, memory stick, SD card, or wherever you searched. Looks like what happened in Vegas didn’t stay in Vegas after all… If there are a really large number of results, and you know exactly when the file was created or modified, you can switch to the advanced view, where you can sort by the last modified time. This can help speed up the process quite a bit, so you don’t have to look through quite as many files. At this point, you can right-click on any filename, and choose to Recover it, and then save the files elsewhere on your drive. Awesome! Restore that File or Photo using DiskDigger If you don’t have any luck with Recuva, you can always try out DiskDigger, another excellent piece of software. I’ve tested both of these applications very thoroughly, and found that neither of them will always find the same files, so it’s best to have both of them in your toolkit. Note that DiskDigger doesn’t require installation, making it a really great tool to throw on your PC repair Flash drive. Start off by choosing the drive you want to recover from…   Now you can choose whether to do a deep scan, or a really deep scan. Just like with Recuva, you’ll probably want to select the first one first. I’ve also had much better luck with the regular scan, rather than the “dig deeper” one. If you do choose the “dig deeper” one, you’ll be able to select exactly which types of files you are looking for, though again, you should use the regular scan first. Once you’ve come up with the results, you can click on the items on the left-hand side, and see a preview on the right.  You can select one or more files, and choose to restore them. It’s pretty simple! Download DiskDigger from dmitrybrant.com Download Recuva from piriform.com Good luck recovering your deleted files! And keep in mind, DiskDigger is a totally free donationware software from a single, helpful guy… so if his software helps you recover a photo you never thought you’d see again, you might want to think about throwing him a dollar or two.   • OS X home, end, page up, page down movement keys and cursor focus

    When using the home, end, page up and page down movement keys in a text editor, the cursor stays in the same spot, even though the window has moved elsewhere. I know that you can use the option modifier to move the cursor along, but is there a way to move the cursor where your window has moved to (without using the mouse)? Another alternative would be to make these movement keys always behave as if the option modifier key is already pressed. Is this possible?

  • Adding features to an SQL Server 2008 standard with SP1

    I have MS SQL Server 2008 with SP1 installed. I want to add the Full text feature to the installation. Do I need to run the SP1 update again after I add this feature? If I do try to run it (SQLServer2008SP1-KB968369-x64-ENU) it fails with this error: "There are no SQL Server instances or shared features that can be updated on this computer". Should I uninstall SP1 and re-install? Doesnt make much sense.

Is there a way to make the display move more, so that the result is (for example) centered instead? Unfortunately, the Gmail interface doesn't seem to have table editing capabilities: after I hit reply, I see the table in the quoted text of the original message, but is not editable... If this is not possible in Gmail, how do I export the HTML source of this messsage and edit in another installed word processor?
