• How to detect touch over a UIView when touched over a UIButton?

  I'm using (void)touchesBegan:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event, and (void)touchesMoved:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event to handle some dragging on a UIView. This UIView however have some UIButtons as subviews of the UIView and when the user touches over a UIButton (which are also over the UIView) the touches methods aren't called. I need the touch methods in the UIView to be called at all times and still have the UIButtons working, how can I achieve this?

  Hi, I have these 3 file in my program: sample1.h (method in sample1.cpp are defined here) sample1.cpp (all the actual implementations) demo.cpp (I am using the methods in sampe1.cpp here, and have included sample1.h) Now, I am using GDB to debug and I know the basic commands like "break lineno." or "break methodname". But, how do I debug the methods written in sample1.cpp? I tried: break "sample1.cpp:mymethod" but it did not work. Thanks

  How do I remove strings from / obfuscate a compiled binary? The goal is to avoid having people read the names of the functions/methods inside. It is a dynamic library (.so) compiled from C++ code for Android with the NDK tools (includes GCC) I compile with -O3 and already use arm-eabi-gcc -g mylib.so to remove debugging symbols, but when I do strings mylib.so all the names of the functions/methods are still readable.

  at the top of my controller, outside of any method, I have @@javascript_is_disabled = false and I have methods that that the view calls and invokes something like this @@javascript_is_disabled = params[:javascript_disabled] but when I need the @@javascript_is_disabled in completely different method.. it is always false. I know it changes in the method with params args... cause those methods behave differently, and appropriately And ideas?

• SSH tunnel doesn't work

  I am trying to use my server as a "proxy" with ssh. However, setting up tunneling with ssh -D localhost:8000 user@myserver does not work. I tested this on various machines with ssh and putty - It connects just fine, but when I set my browser settings accordingly, I just get an error "Connection has been reset". I tried monitoring the traffic with wireshark, but I didn't even see some tunnel-traffic. I explicitly set AllowTcpForwarding to "yes" but I still can't use the tunnel. When running ssh in verbose mode, I don't get any errors but debug1: Connection to port 8000 forwarding to socks port 0 requested. debug1: channel 3: new [dynamic-tcpip] debug1: channel 3: free: dynamic-tcpip, nchannels 4 What am I doing wrong?

  Hi, I would like to know how can I embedd a code source file (if possible), something like that: class X { include "ClassXsource" } My second question - Can I build DLL or something like that for my colleagues to use? I need them to be able to call methods from my "part" but do not modify or view their content. I've tried using "proxy" which works great if I just want a single instance (in the same way as an anonymous inner class). However I'd really like a named class so that I can generate an arbitrary number of instances. What's the recommended way of doing this?

  I'm trying to generate top-level abstract class with JCodeModel library, but I can't find any way to change class modifiers. It's possible for nested classes (JDefinedClass API provides methods that get modifiers as parameters). But for creation of top level classes I found only JCodeModel API methods that get fully qualified name with or without ClassType (class/interface/annotation/enum) as parameters. Does anybody can suggest me how to change modifiers of JDefinedClass to make it abstract?

  For a few days now I'm using NetBeans 6.8 for doing PHP work. But even if a class-file is included and the methods are public and there's phpDoc used, NetBeans everytime shows "No Suggestions" in the window. E.g. • Multiple Remote call made simultenously

  I was making multiple remote calls and they are done sequentially and when I am getting a result event back it's triggering calls to all the methods with ResultEvent as an argument . I am supposed to receive the result event only in the method given inthe event listener but it's triggering calls to all the methods with ResultEvent as an argument . • [MSVC++] Breakpoints on a variable changing value?

  I'm chasing a bug where a member value of an object seems to magically change, without any methods being called which modify it. No doubt something obvious but proving hard to track down. I know I can put conditional break-points in methods based on the variable value, but is it in any way possible to actually put a breakpoint on a variable itself? e.g a breakpoint which fires when x==4? I know I can put watches on, what about breakpoints?
