  • Appending javascript code piece to end of the body tag

    I am looking for a way to insert javascript code block to end of ASP.NET page. Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(typeof(Page), "showVideo", sScript, true); is appending to body but js codes are always requesting some js files didn't load or some functions are below of the script. How can i append scripts that i generated dynamically to the bottom of body? Thanks for your help.

    Hi, I'v created a C header file (It's compiled), now when i compile my program it comes up with tons of errors like: warning: null character(s) ignored error: stray ‘\23’ in program TheFunctions.h:1722: error: stray ‘\200’ in program Inside the header file is simply two functions, which work in the normal c program.     I'm working on a VB6 app that will do some very simple communication with a web server (passing value and getting back an anwer. Low bandwith and infrequent use). Someone suggested using WCF or Web Services. I'm wondering what the advantages are vs. just posting to an ASPX page like: Myserver.com/Functions.ASP?FunctionName=GetValue?UserName=BubbGump and returning some simple, easy to parse text, like one value per line.

  • Why aren't IOKit notifications being delivered with this code?

    I wrote this code to subscribe to USB devices being plugged in and unplugged; the point is for IOKit to deliver notifications to my iAttached() and iDetached() functions when the corresponding events occur.     I am attempting to code some plugins to use with MIDI sequencers but have hit a stumbling block. I can't use global-scope variables to store information because multiple instances of the .dll can exist which share memory. How do I create a class (for re-usability purposes in other plugins) containing 2 dimensional array and other variables the content of which is to be shared between functions? If that is possible, how would I read and write the data from the function in the framework where I do the processing?

  • Can I concatenate multiple MySQL rows into one field?

    Using MySQL, I can do something like select hobbies from peoples_hobbies where person_id = 5; and get: shopping fishing coding but instead I just want 1 row, 1 col: shopping, fishing, coding The reason is that I'm selecting multiple values from multiple tables, and after all the joins I've got a lot more rows than I'd like. I've looked for a function on MySQL Doc and it doesn't look like the CONCAT or CONCAT_WS functions accept result sets, so does anyone here know how to do this?

But I figured... what if a user decides to set his CRM to use a different precision?     Hi, me again :) I am very curious in messing up with HW. But my top level "messing" so far was linked or inline assembler in C program. If my understanding of CPU and ring mode is right, I cannot directly from user mode app access some low level CPU features, like disabling interrupts, or changing protected mode segments, so I must use system calls to do everything I want. But, if I am right, drivers can run in ring mode 0. I actually don´t know much about drivers, but this is what I ask for. I just want to know, is learning how to write your own drivers and than call them the way I should go, to do what I wrote? I know I could write whole new OS (at least to some point), but what I exactly want to do is acessing some low level features of HW from standart windows application. So, is driver the way to go?

  • Android runs OpenGL ES 1.1 or 1.0?

    I'm developing a native app for Android and I'm trying to use functions such as glIsEnabled which appear to be only available in OpenGL ES 1.1. Google's docs claim that NDK 1.6R1 supports OpenGL ES v1.1 but the function call fails with "unimplemented Open GL ES API" and if i do a glGetString(GL_VERSION) it returns "OpenGL ES 1.0 CM" as the version. So if 1.1 is available, what do I have to link against to get it or what else do i need to change to get it?

I'm using this algorithm, at the moment, but something inside myself dies anytime I see it: 10**( int( math.log10(x) ) ) # python pow( 10, (int) log10(x) ) // C I could implement simple log10 and pow functions for my problems with one loop each, but still I'm wondering if there is some bit magic for decimal numbers.

    I realize standard C++ only picks functions by argument type, not return type. I.e I can do something like: void func(int); void func(double); but not double func(); int func(); Where in the former, it's clear, in the latter, it's ambigious.     I'm trying to understand an old classic Mac application's entry point. I've disassembled the first CODE resource (not CODE#0, which is the jump table). The code refers to some variables off the stack: a word at 0004(A7), an array of long words of starting at 000C(A7) whose length is the value at 0004(A7), and a final long word beyond that array that seems to be a pointer to a character string. The array of long words looks like strings at first glance, so it looks superficially like we're dealing with an (int argc, char ** argv) situation, except the "argv" array is inline in the stack frame. What should a program be expecting on its stack / registers when it first gets called by the Mac OS?

    I would look this up, but honestly I wouldn't know where to start because I don't know what it is called. I've seen variables passed to functions like this: myFunction((void**)&variable); Which confuses the heck out of me cause all of those look familiar to me; I've just never seen them put together like that before. What does it mean? I am a newb so the less jargon, the better, thanks!
