    Why is dereferencing called dereferencing? I'm just learning pointers properly, and I'd like to know why dereferencing is called that. It confused me as it sounds like you are removing a reference, rather than going via the pointer to the destination. Can anyone explain why it is called this? To me something like destination or pointed_to_value would make more sense.

    I like the visual behavior of the DOJO TitlePane widget, but it has too much other bunk for my purpose. http://dojotoolkit.org/reference-guide/dijit/TitlePane.html#dijit-titlepane Is anyone aware of a jQuery widget that provides the same ability to expose and hide content in a stacked manner with the little flippy-arrow, pane highlighting on mouse over, etc? I suppose I need to create new field for a class I'm generating which refers "this". However I have no idea how can I set a reference for script-accessible object ... ? Or can I directly publish some class member (like "this" or "button1") to a CodeDom script structure?

    Hello all, I was wondering if its possible to reference one android project from another android project. I have two projects, test1 and test2. I have added test2 in the project properties of test1 under the projects tab. Unfortunately it keeps throwing a NoClassDefFoundError. Also, would the second android project (test2) be installed as a separate apk on the phone or would it be part of the encapsulating android project (test1) ? Thanks very much!

    From what I gather, there are two major methods to perform alignment on point clouds, Iterative Closest Point (ICP) and Particle Filtering. What are the advantages of each method? And can someone point me some good tutorials. For what I am currently doing, I think ICP would be easier, I can't seem to find any simple reference implementations online for 2d point sets.   • Using object instead of AppDelegate for Outlets & Actions?

    In all the MonoTouch examples I have seen everyone is using outlets and actions on AppDelegate, yet when I've been through some objective-C webcasts I see people using an Object they drag onto XIB in Interface Builder and using that (Seems a lot cleaner). Is there just not a way to reference any Objects like that that we create? Is there a particular way to access it? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks
