We have several proposed mock-ups of different homepage designs, and need to receive input from our board members. Is there an online application/program/framework that will receive and organize user comments? I'm looking for something that will allow commenting while viewing the page, rather than just a message board or wiki.

  • WPF application in a one window

    I would like to make an application in a one window using XAML. It should be like a slideshow with next and back button. One idea is to make 4 panels and have just one enable at the time. Is there any other way to do this? Like dynamic loading of other XAML? is it the BackgroundWorker mandatory to use with WPF (hence is DirectX rendered there's almost no GUI lags) ?

If a user is in 2 rooms, he'll have between 2 and 4 active connections to the server (long-polling connections), so if we have 200 users per room and we have 5 rooms, what should the ServerLimit, MaxClients be set to?   • Masking/Hiding URL for ASP.net web application

    Hi, I am working in an ASP.NET mvc application. With regards to URL's I could see the Controller and action names in the address bar when user navigates between pages. Is there a way to hide them, such that the address bar always displays http://mywebsite.com without any action names or controller names suffixing them, or is there any other standard practices? Or is it ok to leave the URL as such which can contain action and controller suffixes?

    I've checked other questions, but I can't find a working answer I have a .Net web application which successfully takes on the callers windows credentials (Thread.CurrentPrincipal is my windows user). Within that app, I call to a WCF service, but my windows identity isn't passed up.   • Is there a Silverlight equivalent to "Application.OpenForms"?

    Basically, I'm trying to take information entered by the user on one page and print it out to another page via a "printer friendly" version, or report, of something. I have a MainPage.xaml that is, as the name suggests, my main page, but in a window there is the subpage AdCalculator.xaml where the user enters the information and PrintEstimate.xaml that is navigated to via a button on AdCalculator. I would like to be able to transfer the information entered in the textboxes from AdCalculator and print it out via text blocks in PrintEstimate. Following a lead from a colleague, I believe all I need to do is change the line Views.AdCalculator AdCalc = new Views.AdCalculator(); to Views.AdCalculator AdCalc = (AdCalculator)Application.OpenForms["AdCalculator"]; except the "Apllication.OpenForms" doesn't register. I know there are a lot of differences in the way C# code-behind is laid out for silverlight applications, so I didn't know if there was an equivalent that anyone knew about to "Application.OpenForms" that would help solve my issue or if there was any other way to go about getting my task done.
