I am creating an AIR application which downloads file from a server. I am using URLstream object with complete, progress, IOError, security error and HTTP status events. I am not getting an event if the network is disconnected when the download is in progress. Please can anyone tell me which event is dispatched?
Thanks,
Anahas
In Xcode 4.6, I generated plenty of managed object subclass files without any problem. But now that I'm trying to do it in Xcode 5, it generates only a .h file. The header file has the correct properties, but it takes the name of my project, rather than the name of the core data entity I selected. Just to be sure I hadn't forgotten something, I carefully followed these steps . What could be going on? Thanks
I need to create a Set of objects. The concern is I do not want to base the hashing or the equality on the objects' hashCode and equals implementation. Instead, I want the hash code and equality to be based only on each object's reference identity (i.e.: the value of the reference pointer).
I'm not sure how to do this in Java.
The reasoning behind this is my objects do not reliably implement equals or hashCode, and in this case reference identity is good enough.
I have something like this:
var test = {};
function blah() {
test[2] = 'filled';
}
console.log(test);
//result test -> 2:"filled"
console.log(test[2]);
//result undefined
I don't understand why I'm getting 'undefined' in the second instance when according to the first instance, the property of that object clearly exists!
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

I started a project using ARC, and I'm inserting a few objects into an NSMutableArray. The objects have all started out as NSStrings, and when attempting to add these objects into the array, I get the following error:
Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: ' -[__NSArrayM insertObject:atIndex:]: object cannot be nil
This array is holding several objects. Is there a quick way for me to find which of the objects I'm attempting to put into the array is nil?
i have tried jQuery('#form_id').serialize(). this returns only the form data as a url encoded string. is it possible to get the form data as an object?
Hi,

What is the easiest way to take an objects and convert any of its values from null to string.empty ?
I was thinking about a routine that I can pass in any object, but I am not sure how to loop through all the values.
This might be a dumb question, but I don't get it:
I have a class called Card. I want to do a shallow clone using MemberWiseClone().
In Theory Card inherits from Object. So it should be able to use MemberWiseClone(), even if MWC() is protected ??
Am I missing/forgetting something?
I have tried using an outlet to connect my tableview controller to my object, setting the nib name in IB and setting the class in IB but it still wont link? I know this as im trying to set my table view to 'grouped'
Thanks very much.
How to sort this object lexicographically by its keys:
var obj = {'somekey_B' : 'itsvalue', 'somekey_A' : 'itsvalue');
so that it outputs like this:
for (k in obj) {
alert(k + ' : ' + obj[k]); //first "somekey_A : itsvalue"; then "somekey_B : itsvalue"
}
char *myfunc() {
char *temp = "string";
return temp;
}
In this piece of code, where does the allocation of the object pointed to by temp happen and what would be its scope?
Is this function a valid way to return a char* pointer?
I have astring directly coming form the database and I am creating object of Date as

With windows workflow when using the tracking service, the SqlTrackingQuery.GetWorkflows() method returns correctly the workflow type and assembly version on the wire from the DB query - but when one comes to query the returned SqlTrackingWorkflowInstance object it's WorkflowType.AssemblyQualifiedName property is returned as the current assembly version of the workflow type (i.e. it looks to matching on FQ type name only and not version). Anyone know how to get to the actual returned data (other than either a custom query or hook)?
I'm looking for a HashTable or Dictionary implementation in C++ that has similar functionality to the one in C#? Does the STL contain an object like this and how would I use it?

hi,
I'm having this issue on my website in IE (6,7,8):
‘nodeType’ is null or not an object
The error refers to "f.nodeType" property. Basically f is undefined, so the issue is before, but I cannot fix it.
Could you give me some help ? www.donatellabernardi.ch/drupal
Thanks
Hi!
I'd like to know if there's a way to verify if an index exists before getting it.
So it'd be way to protect my code against:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: '*** -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (2) beyond bounds (0)'
Like in PHP you can do: isset($object[10]); and it'll return true if it exists.
Is there such a method in Objective-C/Cocoa?
Thanks!
