• ASP.net - First build fails with 'Unknown server tag'

  I have multiple custom controls used on a ASPX (and C#) page registered from within the page rather than in Web.Config. On the first build (or rebuild), build fails with error messages for wherever I've used the custom controls. Subsequent builds are successful. The error message: Unknown server tag 'prefix:ExampleControl'. What might cause this, and how can I fix it?   I have an GridView control with some data in the first cell throughout the column. Ineed to make that cell data into a hyperlink (anchor tag) like the following. <a href=""myPage.aspx?r=" & strParam & """>" & strData & "</a>" Can anyone advise on the most effective way to do this? I am using a datatable and then assigning the datatable to the gridview. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I need to use the Sub GridView1_RowDataBound(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As GridViewRowEventArgs). The easiest way is to add a tag similar to the one below to the web.config file: <location path="TheMenu.aspx"> <system.webServer> <httpRedirect enabled="true" destination="menus/" httpResponseStatus="Permanent" /> </system.webServer> </location> When I go to the site at http://domain.com/TheMenu.aspx it redirects me to http://domain.com/menusxd instead of http://domain.com/menus.   Anyone know of a Python module that can pull Tag data from multiple media formats? Trying to build an app that allows for manipulation of ASF (Windows Media Player files, ie WMA, WMV, etc), ID3, including both ID3v1 and ID3v2 (MPEG files, ie MP3), MPEG Audio Bit Stream (ie ABS, MP1, MP2, MP3), MPEG Program Stream (MPEG movies, and DVD and HD DVD video discs, ie MPG, MPEG, VOB, EVO), and ISO Base Media File Format (eg QuickTime, MPEG-4 and iTunes AAC files, ie QT, MOV, MP4, M4A, M4B, M4P, M4V, etc). Don't need ALL of that but just most standard consumer formats like mov and mpeg. I can't seem to find a good module to support that or a library. Any recommendations?

  Hi, I am implementing a tag cloud system based on this recommendation. (However, I am not using foreign keys) I am allowing up to 25 tags. My question is, how can I handle editing on the items? I have this item adding/editing page: Title: Description: Tags: (example data) computer, book, web, design If someone edits an item details, do I need to delete all the tags from Item2Tag table first, then add the new elements? For instance, someone changed the data to this: Tags: (example data) computer, book, web, newspaper Do I need to delete all the tags from Item2Tag table, and then add these elements? It seems inefficient, but I could find a more efficient way. The other problem is with this way is, if someone edits description but does not change the tags box, I still need to delete all the elements from Item2Tag table and add the same element. I am not an experienced PHP coder, so could you suggest a better way to handle this? (pure PHP/MySQL solution is preferable) Thanks in advance,

• Disabling a link tag using JavaScript on my printable page

  I have a script that creates a printable page by copying the HTML across and then doing some manipulation, such as disabling the buttons on the page, on page load. I also want to disable the links on the page. I don't really mind if they look like links still as long as they don't do anything, and don't give any JavaScript errors! The anchor tag doesn't seem to have a disabled attribute... Unfortunately, I can't use jQuery, so JavaScript only please! Edit: I want to disable the links, buttons etc on the page so that when the 'printable page' opens in another window, the user cannot mess with it by clicking buttons or links. I want it to essentially be a 'frozen snapshot' of the page that they want to print.

  Firstly, sorry for my english. I´m brazilian guy that is improving yet. I want create a helper tag called "collection_cascading_select". That helper is similar to "collection_select", but he has one more argument called "source". The "source" is the other collection in the view. Ever that other option is select in the "source", a javascript function needs run to gets his value. Then populate the "collection_cascading_select" collection agreed of that value. That gets confusing ?!? Sorry... But help me! I'm one week in this problem and my brazilian brothers don´t are help me. THANKS!

  Hi guys, I am trying to reproduce Process Exporer's feature to tag a process running on the current machine with a Comment (Please see the Comment section in the Process properties in Process Explorer). I couldn't find any way to do it with managed code, had a try with wmic utility but I wasn't able to find a way to set a property to an existing process. Also, searching the web returns some pretty vague responses since all the search terms are so general.. If anybody has at least a hint I will appreciate it. Alex. P.S I am using C# for the project but I am opened to use unmanaged code if that's what it takes :)

  I have two models (entries and messages) using acts-as-taggable-on for tagging. How do I write a find condition for tagged messages from only the one model and not both? The only way I can get the tagged items to display is through the basic find: @tags = Tag.find(:all) But this displays tags from both the entries model and the messages model. How can I find the tags from just the messages model? I'm really new to Rails and ActiveRecord finds. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you for reading my question.

• Seeking through a streamed MP3 file with HTML5 <audio> tag

  Hopefully someone can help me out with this. I'm playing around with a node.js server that streams audio to a client, and I want to create an HTML5 player. Right now, I'm streaming the code from node using chunked encoding, and if you go directly to the URL, it works great. What I'd like to do is embed this using the HTML5 <audio> tag, like so: <audio src="http://server/stream?file=123"> where /stream is the endpoint for the node server to stream the MP3. The HTML5 player loads fine in Safari and Chrome, but it doesn't allow me to seek, and Safari even says it's a "Live Broadcast". In the headers of /stream, I include the file size and file type, and the response gets ended properly. Any thoughts on how I could get around this? I certainly could just send the whole file at once, but then the player would wait until the whole thing is downloaded--I'd rather stream it.

  Sorry for the question marks, but a simple (I think) question has an impossible solution. From file system, if I click on an image file "Properties | Details tab" I access to many metadata. I need to access from a WPF application to the Description properties (Title, Subject, Rating, Tag and Comment). In particular Tag. I have found a lot of articles, many are very old. A few in WPF and Imaging library. But no one access to that properties. So the question marks: are these properties on image? On file system? See image: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/72686/tagCloud.png At the moment I have the tags (that are mx.controls.LinkButtons) added at the same position and having different sizes according to values (stored in an ArrayComponent). In my visualization, the orange tags are supposed to be listed vertically in the middle. The gray tags should be at different distances (according to stored numeric values). I want to avoid overlapping and cluttering. How do you suggest to compute x and y of the gray tags taking care about: the distances from orange tags avoid overlapping between them thanks

  I'm using codemirror http://marijn.haverbeke.nl/codemirror/ to let users create their own web templates inside a web application. Codemirror works great, except for the time that users have put a tag inside their source code. When I load that up inside code mirror, it breaks everything in the source code that follows after because it thinks my codemirror text area is closed. I'm using the following way to launch codemirror: CodeMirror.fromTextArea('code') It works great on my existing textarea "code" except when users add inside their templates (in the codemirror textarea).   Is there a way to find custom tags in regexp I.e. match {a}sometext{/a} As well as {c=#fff}sometext{/c} So that it finds the entire block of inner content? The problem is the sometext could have another tag as in: {a=http://www.google.com}{b}Hello, world{/b}{/a} The only solutions I can come up with would match from {a... to .../b} when I want {a... to .../a} is there a single regexp solution, or would it be best to match the start, and then use another method to find the end from the back up, and grab it out that way? I'm using PHP 5.2 so I have all the options that entails.

• jqGrid concatinating/building html tag incorrectly

I have a onSelectRow option that is supposed to build stacked html <li> tags (such as <li>...</li> <li>...</li> <li>...</li> ) up to the number of static xml elements that I am looking at. But my script is concatinating all the image src links together instead of building the whole listobject tag. It generates only one <li></li> tag set instead of 5 in the example above like I want. The <li> tags are being used by a slideshow (with thumbnails) utility.
