I'm reading a book about SQL.
In that book, I saw strange query below:
SELECT * into mycustomer from customer WHERE 1=2
In this query, what is "WHERE 1=2" ?
can I duplicate my nodes in Drupal ? (to later slightly change them)
My customer needs to add several nodes with same content (except for one image) and he would prefer to not have to fill the same content multiple times for each similar node.
thanks
So I've been trying to solve the "The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission" problem and everything I've been reading says I need to get "DCOMperm.exe". There are plenty of links to usage and download links that point to non-MS sources. I'd like to get this direct from Microsoft, but I can't find it there.
Some people say that it's part of an SDK, but I'm not sure which one. Does anyone have any experience getting this exe?
Just wondering if anyone has experience with the cisco 2911 or 2900 series routers. I understand it is newer and similar to the 2811 but more robust. The price difference is not that much more. I am trying to determine if I should go with the 29xx or 28xx series for a small-medium sized company. ISP bandwidth load balancing and fail over is required. T1 and ADSL lines already in place.
I have a GA MA785GT UD3H motherboard with Windows Server 2008 R2 installed on a RAID1 using the on-board RAID controller.
I have now installed a RocketRaid 2680 controller and set up a RAID5 for all my data to be stored on.
Unfortunately I now cannot boot from the RAID1 anymore, the PC is trying to boot from the RAID5!
Does anyone have any experience of this motherboard / RAID controller combination?
The initial firmware is 1.0.1 the new firmware is 2.0.0.8
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/csbss/slm2024/release/notes/SLM2024-SLM2048_Release_Note.pdf
Release notes say "Supports new GUI Style" and mention the default user name and pw.
Does anyone have any experience with the new firmware? Is it Better, Worse, or totally cosmetic with no functional change?
Is it possible to export skype chat history into some readable plain-text format? (txt, xml, html)
Alternatively, is it possible to backup/restore skype chat history? (I wouldn't mind backup to Gmail, or to readable plain-text format).
I have found numerous tools on the internet and even tried some of them, but they don't seem to work as advertised :-( Please answer only if you have good experience with some tool.
I'm using Skype v4.
Background:
I cannot seem to get the vmdk files to work with VirtualBox as a way of using Bitnami stacks. The documentation says you can use VirtualBox, but there is no detail except how to use VMWare player.
I know how to get .iso files working with virtual box, but not the files that Bitnami uses.
Question:
Anyone have experience getting this specific configuration to work?
I'm looking for options to be compliant with PCI-DSS section 11.5 for some servers I manage at the datacenter. There are several servers (less than 20) and they are mostly CentOS5, but there are some RHEL4 and Solaris9 Sparc. I believe Tripwire, Inc. is the leader in this area, but I am looking for additional options, both commercial and FOSS. Please include your experience reasons for using the software you recommend.
We currently run pfSense with no problems, however we are looking at TMG as it is included in our partner subscription to MS and allows Windows 7 DirectConnect features to our domain for off-site users.
I have had a google, but there don't seem to be any comparisons of TMG to pfSense.
Anyone have experience/knowledge of this?
Our infrastructure is Windows Server 2008 R2 behind pfSense at the moment.
I'm stuck. After setting up gitosis, cloning gitosis-admin for the first time results in the following:
$ git clone ssh://[email protected]:gitosis-admin.git
Initialized empty Git repository in c:/path/to/my/repo
Using username "git-upload-pack 'git".
fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly
Anyone ever experience this problem? Troubleshooting ideas?
I have been trying for the past three days to install SQL Server 2008 with SharePoint integrated mode in VMware Player, however I keep getting the following error:
Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode is not supported for WORKGROUP edition
I setup ADDS and have my computer part of that domain (therefore not a WORKGROUP). I am currently at my wits end and any help would be appreciated.
Current Roles installed: Application Server, Active Directory Domain Services, Web Server (IIS)

Using Windows XP and Cisco VPN client version 5.0.4.xxx to connect to a remote customer site. We are able to establish the connection and start an RDP session, but within 1-2 minutes the connection drops and the VPN connection disconnects. The PC making the connection is on a DMZ which is NATed to a public IP address.
If we move the PC directly onto the internet without being on the DMZ the connection works and we don't encounter any disconnects. We use a PIX 515E running 7.2.4 and don't have any problems with similar setups connecting to other customer sites from the DMZ.
The VPN setup on the client side is pretty basic, using IPSec over TCP port 10000. Not sure what device they are using on the peer, but my guess would be an ASA.
Any idea as to what the problem would be? Below is the logs from the VPN client when the problem occurs. The real IP address has been changed to: RemotePeerIP.

Does anyone have any experience setting up a high availability two node Linux cluster using heartbeat (linux-ha.org) and NetApp storage (preferably using SnapDrive for Linux)?
Basically I would like to mount the same NetApp LUN over Fibre Channel to two servers in an Active/Passive mode (only one server can access the LUN at a time)
Thanks!
I was wondering if anyone had any experience plugging SAP into their OpenNMS installation.
Mostly looking for experiences, perhaps Nagios comparisons, or some more concrete information on what is being monitored and how you did it. Go into as much details as you like.
I am currently in the process of evaluating both Nagios and OpenNMS and the possibilities with SAP might be the deciding factor here. Sadly, I didn't find a whole lot on google on the subject.
Hi,
I'm thinking of moving my social network from shared hosting to VPS hosting. I'm not familiar with VPS and have no experience. Will that be a problem?
Thanks
I'm having trouble determining the proper procedure for installing Exchange 2007 sp3 on a Server 2008 R2 box running Exchange 2007 sp1.
It is not clear on websites I have consulted (Microsoft TechNet and others) whether preparing Active Directory is only required on a NEW install of Exchange 2007 sp3, or if it is required when upgrading an existing Exchange 2007 install to sp3.
Could someone who has experience with this please set me straight?
I bought an Asus Lion Square compatible with a AMD Athlon II X3 435 Socket AM3 processor?
I know strictly speaking, the Lion Square specifies AM2 but I'm a little confused since AM2 and AM3 are suppose to be socket compatible (I'm a little confused here as well but I assume it means an AM3 board will support AM2/AM2+ CPUs).
However, will there be a problem with chip height and spacing? Or do people have experience asking ASUS for a standoff adapter?
I made the upgrade and while my download speeds seem to improve SIGNIFICANTLY, I get an marked increased in periodic disk thrashing, more so than with Protection Agent.
What is your experience?
(I'm using the Mac version MS Word 2011)
I used to happily use the wheel mouse to zoom but, after upgrading to the Mac Magic mouse (using only finger slide movement to scroll and pan) I can no longer hold Ctrl and roll the mouse to zoom (driving me crazy) and I can't see a useful keyboard shortcut and the zoom slider bar in the lower right of the Word screen isn't practical (in my experience). Is there any way to zoom in on the Mac Version of Microsoft Word 2011 without resorting to using a menu?
Hi all,
I couldn't find a duplicate question, but I was wondering what the differences are between different read/write speeds for Bluray drive. I'm planning on buying one for a build but don't know if I can cheap out on getting a Bluray 2x drive or spend more money for a quality Bluray 8x drive. Will I just experience more lag/buffering times for Bluray discs on a 2x and none for a 6x or 8x?
Thanks in advance.
Has anyone experience with building NAS (Network-attached storage) for home/small office using?
What component would you recommend?
Hardware
CPU
motherboard
HDDs
RAID controller
etc.
Software
OS
FTP
HTTP
etc.
Due to past (bad) experience resulting from the GCJ stuff being provided by default on certain distributions, I've always traditionally installed the official Sun Java package on servers.
On Ubuntu it's been easy but now OpenJDK is a preferred option and easier to install... I wonder: is there any reason not to use it instead? As far as I understand it's the open source version of the Sun JDK.
I've got two network interfaces on an Ubuntu machine which go out to two different networks but both have internet gateways.
I need to limit it so that any outgoing http requests it makes (ie through wget) only go through eth0 and all other traffic goes through eth1.
I dare say the solution might have something to do with iptables but I've no experience with it so would appreciate all help.
