  • In gzip libary, what's the difference between 'uncompress' and 'gzopen' ?

    There are some functions to decompress in zlib library(zlib version 1.2.3) I want to decompress my source zip(.gz) file using 'uncompress' function. It is now working(error code -3) but gzopen is. It is still not working when I input payload pointer(passing gzip header) to 'uncompress' . So the question is "What's the valid arguments for uncompress function?" and If it needs different format, how can I make it? Google doesn't helpful this time :(

    Why Nibernate HQL can not handle the following query: from Deal D where (D.ApprovalDate + INTERVAL 1 Year) < current_timestamp() < (D.RenewalDate + INTERVAL -1 Year) knowing that INTERVAL and YEAR are keywords in MySQL, so this is kind of mixing Sql within Hql (unless Hql can handle date functions like so and I don't know) . The dialect is MySQLDialect Its perfectly valid to execute this query SELECT '2005-01-01' + INTERVAL 1 Year;

  • MS Access Import from Text File problems

    I'm trying to import a text file into an access database. It's not one I've written myself but the spec for the delimited text file is set up properly and the file imports properly using the wizard. When I try to use the import functions of the app itself, the ImportError table tells "Field Truncation" for one of the fields. Any help would be appreciated.

I tried a decorator function but if I define it in main I can't call it from other functions in the script. It seems like something that should be easy to do but not something I have experience with.

    I've been using the following: var modal = { content: '', form: '', href: '' } But now I have started to use Typescript is there a better way I can declare an object and how can I declare the types of my properties. The reason I am using this object is that it's inside of a function and inside that function I have other functions that set and use the values of the properties.   • Why is Matlab Stateflow 7.7 not throwing errors on undefined variables?

    Previously in Matlab Stateflow 7.1 all variables and functions had to be included before they can be referred to in the state diagram or else it would throw an error when you tried to parse the diagram. But now in 7.7 it doesn't catch those kinds of errors. Its still compiling the diagram because it catches other syntactic errors. Am I missing an option somewhere? Can this be turned on?

I know thats not the intended use of the framework, but I have a lot of utility code written in as3, and I have a need to programatically run some utility functions from another app (not flash).   • Can IDL evaluate strings as code?

    Is there any functionality in IDL that will allow it to evaluate a a string as code? Or, failing that, is there a nice, dynamic way of including /KEYWORD in functions? For example, if I wanted to ask them for what type of map projection the user wants, is there a way to do it nicely, without large if/case statements for the /Projection_Type keyword it needs? With even a small number of user options, the combinations would cause if/case statements to get out of hand very quickly to handle all the possible options.
