  Is there some ready-to-use ACL mechanism for JSF? I know JBoss Seam comes with something like that, but switching to JBoss Seam is not an option in my case. What I need is to easily define which pages given user is allowed to see and which actions to invoke.

  I'm using Forms authentication in ASP.NET MVC website and I store user account login name in AuthCookie like this: FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(account.Login, false); I want to ask if there is a possibility that user on client side will somehow manage to change his login name in AuthCookie and thus he will be for example impersonated as someone with higher privileges and authorized to do more actions than he is normally supposed to have. Also is it better to save in this cookie user account login name or user account ID number?

  This is kind of a repost, and I apologize for any broken rules, but I have a couple of questions about the soft keyboard on Android phones: 1) I have an Android app with a couple different views (that the user switches between). How can I determine which is the current view?? I need to get the current view to execute the code that hides the virtual keyboard. 2) How can I check whether the virtual keyboard is currently being displayed (so I can filter the actions of my various hard keys)??   Hi. Here is an image to illustrate what i mean: http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/497/windowsmobilee.png I have one backpanel that listens to mouse_down event. Infront of that backpanel i have another panel(Overlaying panel), and a label in top. If i push the mousebutton on the label or the "Overlaying panel", nothing is registered. Is it possible to just make the backpanel listen for mouse actions, or do i have to create listeners for the other panel and label to? Thanks in advance

• Intents? How to register to be alerted for incoming emails?

I want to write an application that gets notified when emails come into the device, and takes various actions based on data in the email (subject, sender, to, etc).   Hi I have a site that uses flex and calls controller actions which returns json to the flex. This works fine in a dev server , the folder that has the flex app lives inside the web project and in the dev ennvironment, makes calls hostname, ie www.someurl.com in the actual live scenario, this will be an intranet so not hostname to call, the flex app seems to have trouble calling http://localhost/Virtual directory name it seems to totally miss the virtual directory name. I am obviously missing something basic, any help?
