  • Use WPF DLL Assembly in ASP.NET problem

    - by liimur
    Hello, I have C++ project that compiles as DLL Assembly in .NET 3.5 SP1 Project is used for Image rendering processing by using WPF (it loads 2 images from local folder, applies one image on another and saves the output file in the same folder). I want to use that that project as a reference in ASP.NET project to the rendering on the website. So I created simple Web Project in ASP.NET C# that uses C++ project as a Reference. Everything works great in ASP.NET Web Development Server (built-in Web server in VS2008). But once I publish this project to IIS on the same Machine or use IIS for debug instead of built-in Web server Image rendering it's not working anymore. I'm not getting any exceptions or error messages, it just output image is not processes as it supposed to be. If anyone know what could cause that I would really appreciate your insight!

  • Problem with pgfplot label

    - by harper
    I want to draw an x-y-diagram with axis labels. Unfortunately the ylabel is misplaced. It looks as depending on the actual data. When the other data line in the sample below is used instead of the upper line, it looks better. How can I move the label to the left or (more desirable) how can I tell pgfplot to do it corectly? % !TEX TS-program = pdflatex % !TEX encoding = UTF-8 Unicode \documentclass{scrartcl} \usepackage[utf8]{inputenc} \usepackage{tikz} \usepackage{pgfplots} \begin{document} \begin{tikzpicture} \begin{axis}[width=13cm,height=8cm, xlabel={I in mA}, ylabel={U in mV}] \addplot[only marks,mark=star] coordinates { % (1.36, -0.0177) (45.38, 0.0273) (74.19, 0.0413) (100.88, 0.0533) (134.80, 0.0683) (195.27, 0.1073) }; \end{axis} \end{tikzpicture} \end{document}

  • Maddening Linked List problem

    - by Mike
    This has been plaguing me for weeks. It's something really simple, I know it. Every time I print a singly linked list, it prints an address at the end of the list. #include <iostream> using namespace std; struct node { int info; node *link; }; node *before(node *head); node *after(node *head); void middle(node *head, node *ptr); void reversep(node *head, node *ptr); node *head, *ptr, *newnode; int main() { head = NULL; ptr = NULL; newnode = new node; head = newnode; for(int c1=1;c1<11;c1++) { newnode->info = c1; ptr = newnode; newnode = new node; ptr->link = newnode; ptr = ptr->link; } ptr->link=NULL; head = before(head); head = after(head); middle(head, ptr); //reversep(head, ptr); ptr = head; cout<<ptr->info<<endl; while(ptr->link!=NULL) { ptr=ptr->link; cout<<ptr->info<<endl; } system("Pause"); return 0; } node *before(node *head) { node *befnode; befnode = new node; cout<<"What should go before the list?"<<endl; cin>>befnode->info; befnode->link = head; head = befnode; return head; } node *after(node *head) { node *afnode, *ptr2; afnode = new node; ptr2 = head; cout<<"What should go after the list?"<<endl; cin>>afnode->info; ptr2 = afnode; afnode->link=NULL; ptr2 = head; return ptr2; } void middle(node *head, node *ptr) { int c1 = 0, c2 = 0; node *temp, *midnode; ptr = head; while(ptr->link->link!=NULL) { ptr=ptr->link; c1++; } c1/=2; c1-=1; ptr = head; while(c2<c1) { ptr=ptr->link; c2++; } midnode = new node; cout<<"What should go in the middle of the list?"<<endl; cin>>midnode->info; cout<<endl; temp=ptr->link; ptr->link=midnode; midnode->link=temp; } void reversep(node *head, node *ptr) { node *last, *ptr2; ptr=head; ptr2=head; while(ptr->link!=NULL) ptr = ptr->link; last = ptr; cout<<last->info; while(ptr!=head) { while(ptr2->link!=ptr) ptr2=ptr2->link; ptr = ptr2; cout<<ptr->info; } } I'll admit that this is class work, but even the professor can't figure it out, and says that its probably something insignificant that we're overlooking, but I can't put my mind to rest until I find out what it is.

  • Background problem of opengl 3d object over iphone camera view

    - by user292127
    Hi, I'm loading opengl 3d objects over the iphone camera view. When opengl view is loaded it's loading with a opengl 3d object with black background. The black background color will block the camera view.I just want to clear background color of opengl view so that I could load only the 3d object to the camera view. I had tried glclearcolor(1.0,1.0,1.0,0.0); but no change to background color. I had also tried to clear background color opengl view using [glview setbackgroundColor:[UIColor clearColor]];. No change in back ground color. Can any one help me with this stuff ? I'm new to opengl. Thanks in advance

  • Matlab and .net problem with character string function input

    - by Peter
    I have a MATLAB function that I've compiled into a .net library. The function is a simple one that takes a character array as an input and a numeric array as output: function insert = money(dateLimit) .. insert = [1 2]; The function works fine when no function arguments are specified (a default argument is provided inside the function) Dim sf As New SpreadFinder.SpreadFinder Dim output = sf.money() As soon as an argument is specified .net complains. I'm thinking this should be easy and has been done before but searching through MATLAB documentation doesn't offer much help. Here's what I've tried. The sf.money() overload for the function with arguments is (numArgsOut as Integer, argsOut as MWArray, argsIn as MWArray) and hence that's what I've tried. What am I missing? Dim sf As New SpreadFinder.SpreadFinder Dim inputArgs(1) As Arrays.MWCharArray Dim dateLimitString As String = "some string" inputArgs(0) = New Arrays.MWCharArray(dateLimitString) Dim outputArgs(1) As Arrays.MWNumericArray outputArgs(0) = New Arrays.MWNumericArray() sf.money(1, outputArgs, inputArgs) Gives System.NullReferenceException : Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at MathWorks.MATLAB.NET.Utility.MWMCR.EvaluateFunction(String functionName, Int32 numArgsOut, Int32 numArgsIn, MWArray[] argsIn) at MathWorks.MATLAB.NET.Utility.MWMCR.EvaluateFunction(String functionName, Int32 numArgsOut, MWArray[]& argsOut, MWArray[] argsIn) at SpreadFinder.SpreadFinder.money(Int32 numArgsOut, MWArray[]& argsOut, MWArray[] argsIn)

  • JQuery text display problem?

    - by SLAPme
    Kind of new to JQuery and I was wondering how can I state that the users submitted info was saved when they click the submit button by displaying the message Changes saved at the top of the form and then have it disappear when the user leaves the web page and return back to it? Right now my code only displays that changes were saved at the bottom of the form outside of the lists and will not disappear when the users leave the web page and return back to it. Here is the JQuery code. $(function() { $(".save-button").click(function() { $.post($("#contact-form").attr("action"), $("#contact-form").serialize(), function(html) { $("div.contact-info-form").html(html); $('#contact-form').append('<li>Changes saved!</li>'); }); return false; // prevent normal submit }); }); Here is the html code. <div id="contact-info-form" class="form-content"> <h2>Contact Information</h2> <form method="post" action="index.php" id="contact-form"> <fieldset> <ul> <li><label for="address">Address 1: </label><input type="text" name="address" id="address" size="25" class="input-size" value="<?php if (isset($_POST['address'])) { echo $_POST['address']; } else if(!empty($address)) { echo $address; } ?>" /></li> <li><label for="address_two">Address 2: </label><input type="text" name="address_two" id="address_two" size="25" class="input-size" value="<?php if (isset($_POST['address_two'])) { echo $_POST['address_two']; } else if(!empty($address_two)) { echo $address_two; } ?>" /></li> <li><label for="city_town">City/Town: </label><input type="text" name="city_town" id="city_town" size="25" class="input-size" value="<?php if (isset($_POST['city_town'])) { echo $_POST['city_town']; } else if(!empty($city_town)) { echo $city_town; } ?>" /></li> <li><label for="state_province">State/Province: </label> <?php echo '<select name="state_province" id="state_province">' .   • Problem on IE6-8 with jQuery

    - by Alain Fontaine
    Hello guys, I'm stuck here with this IE6 issue.. always a pain. So I'm using jQuery's "live" feature to add a product each time. Then once each dropdown's value is changed, an input field assigned to it changes its value too so when I hit submit, it sends all the info. Everything works perfectly fine except in IE6, IE7, and IE8. I have no idea why... I've gone through the code and everything... so please guys. Help! :) These are all the files: Index.php http://pastie.org/967139 Submit.php http://pastie.org/967140 JS http://pastie.org/967141 Please guys, I'm really stuck here. I would appreciate some help. • mod_rewrite/GoDaddy problem

    - by John Deerhake
    Ok, so I really don't know much about mod_rewrite and I'm looking over the apache docs and still not figuring this out. Here is my htaccess (which is mostly just copy & pasted from a site I found): .htaccess in base dir: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^$ public/ [L] RewriteRule (.*) public/$1 [L] </IfModule> .htaccess in /public dir: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?url=$1 [PT,L] </IfModule> Basically I'm using the above htaccess files on my current test server and it works great and exactly like I would expect (everything gets seamlessly redirected to public dir). Now when I throw this on my GoDaddy hosting account i get "Internal Server Errror". I've done some searching and I'm fairly certain I should be able to use mod_rewrite with GoDaddy. I suspect this is because I'm not using the base directory to host the site in. The site is in in the folder html/myapp/ (where html is the base directory) and i have a subdomain set up in GoDaddy to look in that folder.

  • Compiling x264 with mp4 support problem

    - by johnas
    I'm trying to compile x264 with mp4 output support. I download the latest version from their git by typing git clone git://git.videolan.org/x264.git When I run ./configure it configures and I'm able to make it. But when i try to configure it with ./configure --enable-mp4-output and then try to make it, it returns a strange error, indicating that there is a compilation error. The error message looks like: ... Lots of similar errors ... output/mp4.c:297: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘gf_isom_add_sample’ output/mp4.c:297: error: ‘mp4_hnd_t’ has no member named ‘p_file’ output/mp4.c:297: error: ‘mp4_hnd_t’ has no member named ‘i_track’ output/mp4.c:297: error: ‘mp4_hnd_t’ has no member named ‘i_descidx’ output/mp4.c:297: error: ‘mp4_hnd_t’ has no member named ‘p_sample’ output/mp4.c:299: error: ‘mp4_hnd_t’ has no member named ‘p_sample’ output/mp4.c:300: error: ‘mp4_hnd_t’ has no member named ‘i_numframe’ I've tried different releases. I've installed gpac, ffmpeg, and tried numerous tips from the net. But still can't get it to work. The reason I want it with mp4 output is because I want to use ffmpeg to create mp4 files encoded with x264. I'm running Ubuntu Server 9.10 32 bits.

  • Son of Suckerfish ie6 problem - right-most dropdown menu also appearing on left side of screen

    - by Kevin Burke
    I'm interning for an NGO in India and trying to fix their website, including updating their menu so it's not the last item on the page to load, and it's centered on the screen. Everything works well enough but when I try out my new menu in IE6, I get this weird error where the content below the menu is padded an extra 30px or so and the material in the right-most drop down appears on the far left of the screen, always visible. When I drop down the rightmost link ("Publications") the content appears both in the correct location and in the same spot on the far left of the screen, and changes color when I hover as well. It's tough to describe, so it would probably be best if you took a look: visit http://sevamandir.org/a30/index.htm in your Internet Explorer 6 browser to see for yourself. I really appreciate your help. Also I'm using a 1000px wide monitor, if there's more hijinks going on outside that space I'd like to know about that too. I want to run this chrome experiment locally. I copied the .html and .js files, along with the two .jpgs that the demo uses. However, when I run it off my local drive, Chrome gives this error: light.js:89 - Uncaught Error: SECURITY_ERR: DOM Exception 18 Line 89 returns the image data from the canvas after drawing the image to it. What's causing this security exception? It seems to not be Chrome-specific, as Firefox gives the same error.

    <input class="ui-autocomplete-input"/> represents the text field to be autocompleted. <ul>...</ul> contains the list of matching items from the text field input. It is added to the document by remote call as you type. <ul>...</ul> is added just inside the closing </body> tag. I was expecting the <ul>...</ul> to be placed just after the <input class="ui-autocomplete-input"/>. Because this does not happen, the <ul>...</ul> falls outside of the containing div and the resulting style is broken. Suggestions? Can I specify where the <ul>...</ul> gets placed in the document? Thanks in advance for your time.
