• OpenCV on Mac. Takes 2 seconds to read two webcams using cvCapture. Seems slow... Any suggestions

  Hello, I am running OpenCV 1.1. in C on a Mac with two rocketfish webcams (1600x1200) and an iSight webcam (640x480). It takes over 2 seconds to capture a pair of images from one rocketfish webcam and one iSight webcam. This seems slow, especially given that both cameras are reading out 30 fps. Any suggestions...   Hello, Knowing that we can use Divide-and-Conquer algorithm to compute large exponents, for exemple 2 exp 100 = 2 exp(50) * 2 exp(50), which is quite more efficient, is this method efficient using roots ? For exemple 2 exp (1/100) = (2 exp(1/50)) exp(1/50) ? In other words, I'm wondering if (n exp(1/x)) is more efficient to (n exp(1/y)) for x < y and where x and y are integers.

  Hello, I have "content" folder which is full of other sub-directories named in the following way: "id1_1","id1_2", "id1_3" and other "id2_1", "id2_2" etc. Each of these folders contains a file "template.php", same name in all sub-directories. The number of folders is dynamic so I need to find a way to import in "index.php" only the "template.php" from all the folders starting with "id_1_". How can I do it? Thanks!
