    Hi, I have windows xp in my work and i programming on zend framework. I need to install ubuntu for execute doctrine orm commands from linux console, I faile to do it on windows. I thinking about 2 option of UBUNTU installation: 1.install ubuntu 10.04 on Virtual Box (Sun Virtual Machine). 2.create new primary partition and install ubuntu 10.04 directly. Which options do you suggest to do? Thanks

    I recently ran across several objects implemented to handle events with a hard coded mapping using this pattern: public void handleEvent(Event event) { if(event.getCode() == SOME_STATIC_EVENT) doSomething(event); if(event.getCode() == ANOTHER_STATIC_EVENT) doSomethingElse(event); } where doSomething functions are implemented as methods of the same class. In hopes of striving for looser coupling, how would you suggest abstracting out this pattern? Also, what's the best approach for mapping 0..N functions to a fired event?

What I would like is to have the autocompletion area to help typing: sel [selECT] select * f [select * fROM] select * from [select * fROM column1] [select * fROM column2] ... Anybody can suggest if there is a nice open source library for this ? I am not really interested in the SQL (I will have to parse a DSL) I am more interested on a powerful autocompletion text area widget.

If the count is same for characters. maintain the original order of the characters from input string. my approach: i have used array of 26 for maintaining occurrence of all characters and sort it then print it.But while doing so i am not able to maintain order in case if two characters have same count. please suggest any improvement or any other algo.
