• Zend DB inserting relational data

  I'm using the Zend Framework database relationships for a couple of weeks now. My first impression is pretty good, but I do have a question related to inserting related data into multiple tables. If someone could could maybe explain or give me a topic related tutorial. I would appreciate it!

• django - change content inside an iframe

  Hello guys, I have a site running in django and want to make it available on third party sites. In these sites they make my content available through an tag. When my site is requested from within that iframe I would like to modify the content (remove header, filter data, etc.). What would be the best way to do this? Is there any way of knowing that the request is being made from an iframe? Multiples sites will request the same url, can I change the content, based on the requesting site? Thanks! • jQuery pagination go to page on input value change

  I'm creating some pagination for my website, and want to use an input-element to navigate between pages. Like the following example: The input would require the "return" key to be hit for the script to trigger. If the value entered is not within range and alert would trigger. e.g. If there was 32 pages, "Please enter a value between 1 and 32" Can this be done using jQuery or javascript, by detecting the value change within the range of pages and redirecting to that page? I plan to clear all sessions on logout and hence am using the following code: if($this->sessionExists()) { $this->destroy(); } But it seems like it's not doing a good job.. I am getting an error: PHP Warning: session_destroy() [<a href='function.session-destroy'> function.session-destroy</a>]: Trying to destroy uninitialized session How can I get rid of this error?   i have this code to fetch emails from gmail using imap with the zend framework. i go back 2 days in my search (as i do not want all messages) all works well but it takes forever to load the messages and i need to do this for 5+ users, it seems like the search goes through the entire gmail message archive in getting the newest ones. my code looks like this: $dato = date('j-F-Y', strtotime($Date.   Hello, I have searched a lot to find a solution for my problem, but I can't find any specific solution. I need to change a value which is stored under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\APP_NAME. It is not possible to use .NET's registry functions, since they have drastic restrictions. The following snippet should solve my problem: Dim regKey As RegistryKey Dim ver As Decimal regKey = My.Computer.Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\APP_NAME", True) regKey.SetValue("IP", "192.168.10.15:18500") regKey.Close() Unfortunately, I get a NullReferenceExeption when I try to set the value.   I have tried to embed a flash movie in a zend view using the htmlFlash helper. In theory you only have to pass the movie path to the htmlFlash helper in a phtml view: echo $this-htmlFlash('/path/to/myMovie.swf'); And the framework will generate the html code in the html page: <object data="/path/to/flash.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab"> </object> However, I have done so and the code doesn't appear on the source code. • Change web service url for a suds client on runtime (keeping the wsdl)

  Hi. First of all, my question is similar to this one But it's a little bit different. What we have is a series of environments, with the same set of services. For some environments (the local ones) we can get access to the wsdl, and thus generating the suds client. For external environment, we cannot access the wsdl. But being the same, I was hoping I can change just the URL without regenerating the client. I've tried cloning the client, but it doesn't work.

• Django: Change models without clearing all data?

  I have some models I'm working with in a new Django installation. Is it possible to change the fields without losing app data? I tried changing the field and running python manage.py syncdb. There was no output from this command. Renavigating to admin pages for editing the changed models caused TemplateSyntaxErrors as Django sought to display fields that didn't exist in the db. I am using SQLite. I am able to delete the db file, then re-run python manage.py syncdb, but that is kind of a pain. Is there a better way to do it?

  Hello, I'm working on PowerPoint Add-In and I was faced with trouble I couldn't solve myself. The point is I need to change the slide Layout programmaticaly with C# (the Add-In Express 2009 for Office and .NET is used). If the new layout is a predefined one everything is fine but I need to set a custom layout as a new one (without slide recreating). Unfortunately, I didn't find any information on how to do it, PowerPoint object model reference documentation didn't answer me as well. There is just the ability to create a new slide that uses custom layout. I've done an experiment seria and have ensured that the Slide object stayed being the same while I have been changing layout both predefined and custom ones. I don't want to create a new slide when I need just switch the layout. Is it possible at all? Please help me to find a way of doing it. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to make an administration zone within a subfolder (also ZF) and a API Zend Application for my mobile Android application. The problem is: I rewrited all routes im my principal website, so now it always search for a route when I go to a subfolder.   I have a div ("panel" class) on my page that toggles open/closed on the click of a paragraph element ("flip" class), which has an image inside of it.   Hi, In my sql database I have tables with name which include underscores, for readability. Just to try and make it clearer see below: TableFoo TableFoo_TableBah Where TableFoo has a key linking to TableFoo_TableBah, this is done so you can quickly see what the table TableBah relates to. I have used this naming convention before with tools such as CodeSmith which give the option to remove the underscores, but I cannot see how to do this in Entity Framework 4. Is there a way to do this, or am I stuck with either renaming my tables or having objets such as TableFoo_TableBah? Thanks,

  Hi, I'm having a VARIANT with its type set to VT_R8. Subsequently I need to change its type to VT_BSTR. I would like know whether there is a way of resetting a VARIANT status. Thus, I noticed that every time I set value to the VARIANT (in my case, its double) , VARIANT itself set its bstrVal member to a bad pointer, even though I set bstrVal member to NULL at the initialization of VARIANT. Why such thing is happening ? Is it safe to use a VARIANT as structure where both dbVal and bstrVal member are set ? Please clarify, thank you.

  symfony has released some of their components free to use outside the framework. i have used the event dispatcher and dependency injection...they are awesome! i wonder if there are other components/libraries (from other frameworks etc) that in the same way help you manage various design patterns? eg. decorator, facade, singleton, chain of commands etc. i think symfony is on the right path, abstracting away the design patterns. are there any other components out there doing the same? thanks
