  • Will php code exit after echo for ajax?

    I am running a typical php-engined ajax webpage. I use echo to return a html string from the php code. My question is, if I have some other code after the echo, will those code get executed? Or echo behaves similar to exit, which immediately return and stop running the php code? Thanks.

But i want improve it with jQuery. Because i need use it in success: function () { } i need clear this box and write here some text (error or success).

Say I have a web method named foo in TestService, how do I make an ajax call to it? I tried accessing the method via http://127.0.0.1:8080/IM/TestService/foo, but I'm getting an HTTP Status 404.

At the same time when the image is clicked it opens up a new tab and tries to load the image that is being downloaded. When I call http://localhost:8081/?id=something I get an answer. BUT I do not know how to send data reusing the same TCP from browser to server. so there is not the 3 way handshake and only 2 tcp packets. I'm using a third party API to make the AJAX calls, so I need a generic solution.
