    I have a problem with onload event. My page have 4 iframes and the function from onload event is called 5 times ( one for body and 4 for iframes ). I want only 1 time ( from main body ). Try with srcElement and target property from windows.event but no result... Is there a way to stop onload when iframes load?

  • Ajax BeginForm posting to an action that returns json, IE tries to download it

    Here is the code I am using to setup the form: <% using (Ajax.BeginForm("SaveCroppedPhoto", new { Id = Model.memberId.GetValueOrDefault() }, new AjaxOptions { OnBegin = "ProfileOnBegin", OnComplete = "ProfileOnComplete", OnFailure = "ProfileOnFailure", OnSuccess = "ProfileOnSuccess" }, new { id = "cropPhotoForm" })) {%> My action result returns a json result as follow: return Json(new { success }); In IE8 when the action returns, it tries to download the result. The content type coming back is application/json. Anyone have any idea how to stop IE from trying to download the result?

  • Bootstrapped Ubuntu 12.04 EC2 instance. Where to find log?

    So I bootstrapped a shell script to install and run a bunch of tasks. Looks like the it ran for the most part, but I added one part and that was formatting an extra EBS volume. Pretty straightforward: mkfs.ext4 /dev/xvdf mkdir –m 000 /vol01 echo “/dev/xvdf /vol01 auto noatime 0 0” | sudo tee –a /etc/fstab sudo mount /vol01 I was able to install MongoDB, NGINX and Forever. I selected to use /dev/xdvf in the AWS console and see it. The 3rd line is not in fstab either. I've searched through various logs in /var/log/ but I don't really see much indicating the execution of the bootstrap. Logs that I see and looked through: auth.log boot.log dmesg dpkg.log syslog udev

    I would like to make a .desktop file for my Python script, but so far the only thing i have is a clickable icon on my desktop!   • Visual Studio Generating Code in Release mode

    I am using Visual Studio to compile some C++ Code. When I compile my program in Debug mode it works perfectly, but when I try compiling it in Release mode, VS halts when Generating Code (ie: took 20 mins and still didn't finish). After I forced VS to stop the build process, the executable generated was huge 2MB while it should be about 304KB. Please can you help figure this out. How should I setup the configuration parameters for Release mode to work? Thanks,

    Hi everyone I've got a cronjob that runs every minute and checks existence of a certain file. If there's no such file, job silently ends. If there is a file, then another script is started. That script removes the file when done. Its execution time can take up to 20 minutes. My questions are: Are there any flaws in this scheme? Is it ok to store such file in tmp? Can I be shure that nothing will attempt to remove it?

How do I get the .php extension if the code tells the rewriting to stop after adding the www. to the beginning of example.com?

    I am using automongobackup to, well, automate the backups of mongodb. output from the script (to STDERR) has the following exceptions (but the backup completes, and the dump files are created) ###### WARNING ###### STDERR written to during mongodump execution. The backup probably succeeded, as mongodump sometimes writes to STDERR, but you may wish to scan the error log below: exception: connect failed exception: connect failed exception: connect failed exception: connect failed exception: HostAndPort: bad port # exception: connect failed exception: connect failed exception: connect failed exception: connect failed exception: connect failed exception: connect failed I know that the Host & Port are correct. If I run mongodump --host=127.0.0.1:27017 --journal (which is the effective command from automongobackup based on the options set and my reading of the src code) everything runs clean without any error reporting and the dump files are created as expected. Why would automongobackup report connection errors, even tho it does create the dump files, yet a straight call to mongodump does not?     Let's say I have some HTML like this: <ol><li>a knock at the door, I'll be back in a second which I display as inline HTML within a div that I produce. Is there any way to stop the inner, malformed HTML from screwing up the alignment of the entire document that comes after the HTML? I realize that intelligently parsing it is one option (since I do have it on the server side), but I'm looking for a lighter solution.

    I'm trying to disable logging of caching in production. Have succeeded in getting SQL to stop logging queries, but no luck with caching log entries. Example line in production log: CACHE (0.0ms) SELECT merchants.* FROM merchants WHERE merchants.id = 1 LIMIT 1 I do not want to disable all logging, since I want logger.debug statements to show up in the production log. Using rails 3.2.1 with Mysql and Apache. Any suggestions?

    I am using wkhtmltopdf for making a pdf of a page. My code executes the shell to run a command using this wkhtmltopdf library. Everything works fine in my wamp server but when the code runs on my web-server it does not work and gives the following error: Warning: shell_exec() has been disabled for security reasons in /home/pssptech/public_html/.../cert.php on line 272 I think that the php is running on safe mode on the server that's why the shell execution is disabled. But the main problem is I am unable to find the php.ini file on my remote web-server. Can you tell me where can I find the config file so that I can disable the safe mode? Thanks in advance.
