• Deploying axis2 on glassfish

  I'm trying to deploy Axis2 v1.6.2 war on Glassfish v3.1.2 and I'm having some problems... I need to develop a few web services and since the main app is beeing served on Glassfish I was hoping to deploy axis2 on it so I could test it. I used Glassfish administration pages to deploy a war downloaded from an apache site, but after pointing the application deployment form to this war I'm getting Error and this is the (long) stack • accessing $_SESSION when using file_get_contents in PHP

  I am basic - intermediate developer using php and am a little stumped as to what I have found. I need some help in understanding how to alleviate this issue: I have a page called send.email.php which sends an email - pretty simple stuff - I pass an order id, it creates job request and sends it out. This works fine when used in the context I developed it (Use javascript to make an AJAX call to the URL and pass the order_id as a query parameter) I am now trying to reuse the exact same page in another application however I am calling it using php file_get_contents($base_url.'admin/send.email.php?order_id='.$order_id). When I call the page this way, the $_SESSION array is empty isempty() = 1. Is this because I am initiating a new session using file_get_contents and the values I stored in the $_SESSION on login are not available to me within there? Any help? Thanks

Do we need to do some additional (re-)initializations in QApplication or QWebView?

• Linux, static lib referring to other static lib within an executable

  Hello, I am creating an application, which consists of two static libs and an executable. Let's call the two static libs: libusefulclass.a libcore.a And the application: myapp libcore instantiates and uses the class defined in libusefulclass (let's call it UsefulClass) Now, if I link the application in the following way: g++ -m64 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.5.4/lib -o myapp src1.o src2.o srcN.o -lusefulclass -lcore The linker complains about the methods in libusefulclass not being found: undefined reference to `UsefulClass::foo()' etc. I found a workaround for this: If UsefulClass is also instantiated within the source files of the executable itself, the application is linked without any problems. My question is: is there a more clean way to make libcore refer to methods defined in libusefulclass, or static libs just cannot be linked against eachother? TIA P.S.: In case that matters: the application is being developed in C++ using Qt, but I feel this is not a Qt problem, but a library problem in general.

  Hello everybody I'm using Kohana for so long, but the new Version is a litte bit other. My problem with an example: classes/ controller/ pages.php pages/ imprint.php I want to change my Route so, that if i call domain.tld/pages, the pages.php should called with action_index(). But if i call domain.tld/pages/imprint, pages/imprint.php should called with action_index() (and this should work too: pages/imprint/demo - action_demo() in pages/imprint.php) Tried this with bootstrap and http://kohanaframework.org/guide/api/Route this examples, but cant get it work. • Best Method for Minimizable Fullscreen Window

  Hi, I'm coding a short game in C++ and Win32, and I want to be able to make it in fullscreen with a fixed size. I also want the user to be able to switch focus between the game window and other windows as much as he/she wants without any weird screen glitches. So far I know of the ChangeDisplaySettings function and creating the window with the WS_POPUP style at initialization to make it fullscreen. To detect the user switching focus to other windows by way of alt+tab or otherwise, what messages should I be handling on the window's WndProc or should I be using another function? When loss of focus is detected should I only call ChangeDisplaySettings(NULL, 0); or are there other functions I should call as well? And what method should I use to handle focus back into the window? Also can anyone give me some info on how to make it work smoothly for different screen sizes? Thanks for any help.

  I'm embarrassed to post this but it's been awhile since I worked in C++, been with C# for awhile. I'm converting old (not written by me) vs2003 and 05 C++ code to vs 08. In addition to lots of lumps during conversion, I want to add debug logging so I can monitor what is going on when I attach with windbg. I've searched the archives here and ms and I think it's using Debugger.Log(...) but not sure. I also remember years ago launching a debug monitor to catch the logging. So the call to some experts that have a better memory than I. What call(s) can I make (without the DEBUG compile directive - need to watch release code) to catch the logging in wind bag? I followed a couple of debugging links from SO posts but they were dead. Thanx - Old Man.

• Clearquest Database Timeout

  I have a tool that is setup to query our Clearquest Database to return information to the user automatically every 9000 milliseconds. I came in today and the connection had timed out over the weekend, I found in the oSession object a "check heartbeat" function, but I'm not sure that is what I want to use to determine if i need to "re-login", I saw a db.timeoutinterval, but I can't seem to find any good reference on how to call it, since the oSession Object doesn't actually call it, and any references in the API guide mention it with regard to actually creating the db using the adminsession object. What "object" do I need to create to access the timeout interval and how? Thank you for the help! Or is it better to use the "check heartbeat function" and will it return a true or false depending on current state of login?

  I am trying to use InvokeScript method on the WebBrowser control to execute a script on the web page that has been loaded into my WebBrowser control. If I am calling just a simple javascript function, this works properly. However, the javascript function that I am trying to call is nested within a variable like this: var holder = { DoA: function() { .... }, DoB: function() { ..... } } Calling holder.DoA works fine when called from within the javascript, but the function is not called successfully when I try to call it from within my C# code like this: object obj1 = m_webBrowser.Document.InvokeScript("holder.DoA"); Any ideas?

• jQuery ajax in DotNetNuke preserving user authentication

  I want to use jQuery's ajax functionality in a DotNetNuke module I'm developing. I want the ajax call to be authenticated via DNN's membership functionality. I want the ajax response as json. How can I do this? I've looked at IWeb and IWebCF -- it's not clear to me from much Googleing and scanning the forums whether these modules would allow me to create a web service that would accept a simple post request and return json (seems like they want to do it the ASP.NET AJAX way with a generated proxy, I'd prefer to just use jQuery's AJAX call functionality). Seems you can't create a simple webmethod in a DNN module (since they are developed as User Controls (.ascx)). I could deploy an .asmx file with module, but that won't leverage DNN's authentication system. Ideas? I'm currently developing against DNN 4.9.5

• Execute a function when a <link> element has finished loading

  I'm using jQuery Masonry to lay out my page, but I'm using a custom @font-face font. The problem being that Masonry doesn't know the metrics of the font until it's loaded. The Masonry docs suggest that you use $(window).load() instead of $(document).ready() to call the layout functions, but I don't want to have to wait until all the images etc. load. I can specify the dimensions of the images exactly, so Masonry doesn't need to wait until they're loaded. It's just the text that's the problem. How can I get jQuery to call a callback when the <link> element that links in the font finishes loading?

• Making an XSL stylesheet work with paged XML

  First off, here is the situation. I'm using a guild hosting site that allows you to input the URL to an XSL file and another input for the XML. All well and good when all of the XML you want is contained in one file. My problem is this Game Roster XML which is paginated... look near the bottom of the file and you will find a <page_links> section that contains a pager written in HTML with links to /xml?page=2 etc. Since the guild hosting site is set up to only process one XML page I can't get to the other XML pages. So, I can only think of two solutions, but I have no idea how to get started Set up a php page that combines all XML pages into one, then output that file. I can then use this URL in the guild hosting site XSL processor. Somehow combine all the XML files within the XSL stylesheet. I found this question on SO (I don't really understand it, because I don't know what the document($pXml1) is doing), but I don't think it will work since the number of pages will be variable. I think this might be possible by loading the next page until the <members_to> value equals the <members_total>. Any other ideas? I don't know XSL or php that well so any help with code examples would be greatly appreciated. Update: I'm trying method 2 above and here is a snippet of XSLT with which I am having trouble. The first page of the code displays without problems, but the I am having trouble with this xsl:if, or maybe it's the document() statement. • Windows Vista, Default Programs API, file format associations, and (un)installers - explosive mix!

  My application is a rather well behaved Windows citizen, so when I ported it to Windows Vista/7 I replaced my custom file format association code with support for the Default Programs API. However I ran into a problem when trying to make uninstaller for my application - there seems to be no way to remove file format associations via Default Programs API. I tried to call IApplicationAssociationRegistration::ClearUserAssociations but it actually removes all associations, including the ones for other applications - completely restoring default state of the OS (which is of course unacceptable). I tried to call IApplicationAssociationRegistration::SetAppAsDefault to return file format associations to the previous "owner" - but it does not help, because my application handles many unique file formats which the OS does not support and there is no previous "owners". And Windows does not allow to pass empty strings to SetAppAsDefault... So what do I do? Any good solutions?
