• Juniper SSG-5 subinterface vlan routing to the internet

  I'm unable to get a brand new Juniper SSG-5 with latest 6.3.0r05 firmware routing to the internet from a subinterface I created on bgroup0 setup as vlan2 (bgroup0.1 on "wifi" zone). When connected on the default vlan it gets on the internet just fine. When I switch to vlan2 I'm unable to get to the internet. I am able to get the correct ip address (10.150.0.0/24) from dhcp, able to get to the juniper management page, etc but nothing past the firewall, can't ping 4.2.2.2 or the internet gateway. Even setting up logging on the wifi-to-untrust policy and it does shows the attempts (it's it's timeouts). 172.31.16.0/24 is the untrusted lan, it's already nat'ed but works fine for testing. Can ping this ip from the default vlan but not from vlan2 192.168.1.0/24 is the trusted main lan 10.150.0.0/24 is the wifi isolated lan on vlan2 The idea is to setup an AP with lan and guest access (AP supports multiple ssid's on different vlans). I know I can setup the juniper to use different ports for the wifi lan and use their procurve switch to do the vlan separation, but I never used vlan'ing on a Juniper firewall and I would like to try it out this way. • SVN naming convention: repository, branches, tags

  Hey all! Just curious what your naming conventions are for the following: Repository name Branches Tags Right now, we're employing the following standards with SVN, but would like to improve on it: Each project has its own repository Each repository has a set of directories: tags, branches, trunk Tags are immutable copies of the the tree (release, beta, rc, etc.) Branches are typically feature branches Trunk is ongoing development (quick additions, bug fixes, etc.) Now, with that said, I'm curious how everyone is not only handling the naming of their repositories, but also their tags and branches. For example, do you employ a camel case structure for the project name? So, if your project is something like Backyard Baseball for Youngins, how do you handle that? backyardBaseballForYoungins backyard_baseball_for_youngins BackyardBaseballForYoungins backyardbaseballforyoungins That seems rather trivial, but it's a question. If you're going with the feature branch paradigm, how do you name your feature branches? After the feature itself in plain English? Some sort of versioning scheme? I.e. say you want to add functionality to the Backyard Baseball app that allows users to add their own statistics. What would you call your branch? {repoName}/branches/user-add-statistics {repoName}/branches/userAddStatistics {repoName}/branches/user_add_statistics etc. Or: {repoName}/branches/1.1.0.1 If you go the version route, how do you correlate the version numbers? It seems that feature branches wouldn't benefit much from a versioning schema, being that 1 developer could be working on the "user add statistics" functionality, and another developer could be working on the "admin add statistics" functionality. How are these do branch versions named? Are they better off being: {repoName}/branches/1.1.0.1 - user add statistics {repoName}/branches/1.1.0.2 - admin add statistics And once they're merged into the trunk, the trunk might increment appropriately? Tags seem like they'd benefit the most from version numbers. With that being said, how are you correlating the versions for your project (whether it be trunk, branch, tag, etc.) with SVN? I.e. how do you, as the developer, know that 1.1.1 has admin add statistics, and user add statistics functionality? How are these descriptive and linked? It'd make sense for tags to have release notes in each tag since they're immutable. But, yeah, what are your SVN policies going forward?

• Adding rows to UItableview and passing data between Viewcontrollers

  I have a list of websites in a plist, when the app loads this populates a tableview (which is inside a navigation controller) But I have added an add button to the navigation bar and then created another View Controller to deal with inputting of the new website (Like Title and URL). It is very similar to how the contacts app looks. There is a table view and when you tap add, the add UI slides up. I have got all this working great so far. My Problem is what happens when the user taps Done. I can add the website to the plist (each website is a dictionary in the plist with 2 keys, atm) But then how do I tell the tableView to update? The table view has not been removed from the main window, just the add view has been added on top of the "screen". Another way of asking is, when you tap Save on Add a Contact screen: (not my image) How does the new contact's data (Xyz's data) get shown on the tableview?

However, the custom error handler doesn't work. The reason is, the AddServerErrorHandlers() method never gets called when webServiceHost.Open() is run. So, can anyone tell me what is wrong with this picture? And why, is AddServerErrorHandlers() not getting called automatically, like it does when I'm using non-ssl endpoints? Thanks!

• Asp.net mvc, view with multiple updatable parts - how?

  I have started doing asp.net mvc programming and like it more everyday. Most of the examples I have seen use separate views for viewing and editing details of a specific entity. E.g. - table of music albums linking to separate 'detail' and 'update' views [Action] | Title | Artist detail, update | Uuuh Baby | Barry White detail, update | Mr Mojo | Barry White With mvc how can I achieve a design where the R and the U (CRUD) are represented in a single view, and furthermore where the user can edit separate parts of the view, thus limiting the amount of data the user can edit before saving? Example mockup - editing album detials: I have achieved such a design with ajax calls, but Im curious how to do this without ajax. Parts of my own take on this can be seen below. I use a flag (enum EditCode) indicating which part of the view, if any, that has to render a form. Is such a design in accordance with the framework, could it be done more elegantly? • Output Caching with IIS7 - How To for an dynamic aspx page?

  I have a RetrieveBlob.aspx that gets some query string variables and returns an asset. Eeach url corresponds to a unique asset. In the RetrieveBlob.aspx a Cache Profile is set. In Web.Config the profile looks like (under system.web tag: <caching> <outputCache enableOutputCache="true" /> <outputCacheSettings> <outputCacheProfiles> <add duration="14800" enabled="true" varyByParam="*" name="AssetCacheProfile" /> </outputCacheProfiles> </outputCacheSettings> </caching> Ok, this works fine. When I put a breakpoint in the code behind of RetrieveBlob.aspx, it gets triggered the first time, and all the other times not.   Ok so I'm working on an Eclipse plugin based on the JGraph example. The problem is I can't really get the "save" method to work, here's how the program works in short: - I have a DiagramEditor class with an init() method, where I create a GraphEditor object and call the createFrame() methord of that object. - GraphEditor extends the BasicGraphEditor (which extends JPanel), the createFrame() method returns a JFrame and has a line "frame.setJMenuBar(menuBar)" - the "menuBar" is an object variable, which is initialized in the BasicGraphEditor. Till here everything is cool, the problem is with the action listener which is supposed to save a file. To get the graph I need to get the GraphEditor component, so I do a Component component = (Component) e.getSource() whitch is the ActionEvent passed to that action listener and at that stage is the JMenuItem "save", then I get the parent which is the JPopupMenu, then I want to get that JPopupMenu's parent which should be the GraphEdiotor, but instead I get a null. Any idea why? • Refresh page isnt working in asp.net using treeview

  Hi, I am trying to refresh an asp.net page using this command: <meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="10"/> On that page I have 2 treeviews. The refresh works ok when I just open the page, but when I click on one of the treeviews and expand it, the refresh stopps working and the page isnt being refreshed. Any ideas why this can happen? Is there any connection to the treeview being expanded?   I am a student working on a homework project. I spent DAYS trying to get the following code to display an image on my new windows 7 laptop. I compiled it and ran it on my old xp pc and it worked! I really want to use my laptop. • JPopupMenu getParent() returning a null?

  Ok so I'm working on an Eclipse plugin based on the JGraph example. The problem is I can't really get the "save" method to work, here's how the program works in short: - I have a DiagramEditor class with an init() method, where I create a GraphEditor object and call the createFrame() methord of that object. - GraphEditor extends the BasicGraphEditor (which extends JPanel), the createFrame() method returns a JFrame and has a line "frame.setJMenuBar(menuBar)" - the "menuBar" is an object variable, which is initialized in the BasicGraphEditor. Till here everything is cool, the problem is with the action listener which is supposed to save a file. To get the graph I need to get the GraphEditor component, so I do a Component component = (Component) e.getSource() whitch is the ActionEvent passed to that action listener and at that stage is the JMenuItem "save", then I get the parent which is the JPopupMenu, then I want to get that JPopupMenu's parent which should be the GraphEdiotor, but instead I get a null. Any idea why?   I have the following code txtBlock1.Inlines.Add("This is first paragraph \n This is second paragraph"); then TextBlock would display: This is first paragraph This is second paragraph But, if I have the following (which I though is equivalent); txtBlock1.Inlines.Add("This is first paragraph"); txtBlock1.Inlines.Add("\n"); txtBlock1.Inlines.Add("This is second paragraph"); TextBlock display: This is first paragraph // but second paragraph missing If I separate out the linebreak then the rest of text after the linebreak doesn't show. Why? I have to use run: Run run1 = new Run(); run1.Text = "First Paragraph"; run1.Text += "\n"; run1.Text += "Second Paragraph"; txtBlock1.Inlines.Add(run1); Then it produce the result correctly. Why I cannot add inline text to Textblock and require me to use Run?

  How to change just the layout (template) of the CreateUserWizard control programmatically? I would to define another layout (not using the horrid table) but continue to use all the event handling and the creation of the user of the CreateUserWizard control.
