  • Scroll to item in listview in Silverlight 3.

    I have a silverlight 3 app with a textbox on the main window and a childwindow that has a list of all the potential textbox values. When I open that childwindow I want it to scroll to the correct one in the list. I'm trying to do this with the code below...using the ScrollIntoView. It was not working at all until I add the UpdateLayerout(). However it does not seem to work all the time. At times it scrolls but not all the way to the item, it is a few items higher than it should be. The listbox is in an Accordion and the list items use a ItemTemplate\DataTemplate, not sure if that effects anything but thought I'd mention it. Any ideas what I'm missing in the code below? What I would like is to scroll the item to the top of the list ....any ideas how to that?   • WPF bind IsEnabled on other controls if a listbox has a select item

    I have a grid with 2 columns, a listbox in column 0 and a number of other controls in the a secondary grid in the main grids column 1. I want this controls only to be enabled (or perhaps visible) if an items is selected in the listbox through binding. I tried on a combo box: IsEnabled="{Binding myList.SelectedIndex}" But that does not seem to work. Am I missing something? Should something like this work? thanks

    I am trying to design a windows-service which monitors a process namely "Gtalk", if the process is started then, the browser Internet-explorer (process iexplore) should be closed. This should happen only when the process "Gtalk" is started, [not when running] The code I have written and implemented, doesn't allow to open IExplore when Gtalk is running. That is certainly what not I am trying for. The process Gtalk should close browser only at its start-up, After the process is started, it should allow to open IExplore. Is it possible with Windows service or is it must be the part of Gtalk process itself?   • Python: Sort a dictionary by value

    I have a dictionary of values read from 2 fields in a database: a string field and a numeric field. The string field is unique so that is the key of the dictionary. I can sort on the keys, but how can I sort based on the values? Note: I have read this post 72899 and probably could change my code to have a list of dictionaries but since I do not really need a list of dictionaries I wanted to know if there a simpler solution.

    I have a href from that i am giving out a popup , and i want to activate this on my body overload . I am using "document.getElementbyId("myelement").click()" this is working fine in IE but FireFox is not supporting it. And i know that .click() will not be taken by firefox , but i dont have any other way to do it. Can u please suggest me with a workaround that will be accepted by IE as well as FF. Thanks in advance.

I can communicate with the subnets on either site from the other and both are connected to the internet, however I need to ensure that all the traffic at my remote site goes through this VPN to my site here. I know that the web traffic is doing so as a "tracert" confirms this, but I need to ensure that all other network traffic is being directed over this VPN to my network here.   • PHP suddenly failed after IIS update

    All my application pools were stopped this morning after I got to work. I can restart them, but when I try to load the website the app pool crashes again. Update: I've looked in the GAC as the error below suggests and it seems that the file is not there. How do I get it back? Update 2: I found a further error in the event log saying The Module name FastCgiModule path C:\WINDOWS\System32\inetsrv\iisfcgi.dll returned an error from registration. The data is the error. So following the information from here http://forums.iis.net/t/1153937.aspx I removed CGI and my sites are working again. This has fixed the initial problem, but now I don't have FastCGI so I'm fairly sure that PHP will no longer be working (I don't have any PHP at the moment to test).
