  • What is the most popular generic collection data structure library for C?

    I'm looking for a C library that provides generic collection data structures such as lists, associative arrays, sets, etc. The library should be stable and well tested. I'm basically looking for something better than the crappy C standard library. What C libraries fit this description? EDIT: I'd prefer that the library was cross-platform, but failing that, anything that works on Mac/Linux.

    I want to read a bunch of text files, by loading them as resources using the context classloader. URL url = Thread.currentThread() .getContextClassloader() .getResource("folder/foo.txt"); Is there some way to get a list of resources whose names match a given pattern? For eg: URL[] matchingUrls = someLibrary.getMatchingResources("folder/*.txt"); Libraries like Spring can scan the classpath to find classes with a given annotation, so I am wondering if there something similar to load a bunch of resources.

  • Question on gcc compiler commands

    I had to compile a small little C program using the following; gcc sine.c -o sine -lm I needed the "-lm" because the program included the math.h. In looking this up under compiler commands man shows it a either -llibrary or -l library. I could not find any information on what other libraries. Apparently -lm is needed for math.h what other library commands might be needed. Thanks

  • How do I upload a file when I know the client's filepath?

    I'm interested in the way Sonic Living detects your iTunes library XML file. It prompts the user to approve its actions, then automatically uploads the XML file based on the client OS (and assuming the default installation path of iTunes). How the heck does it do that? None of the upload libraries I've looked at have this feature. They all assume that a user will click "Select file..." then browse around for the right thing to upload.

If I have a Visual Studio C++ solution that has two projects, say a static library with CLR support turned off, and a second project with CLR support turned on that depends on this static library, does the static library get compiled as managed code? What about libraries that the CLR project uses that are external to this solution, do they also get compiled as managed code?

    Hello! I'd like to get the main image for an article, much like Facebook does when you post a link (but without the choosing image part). The data we have to work with is the whole pages HTML as a variable. The page & URL will be different for every time this function runs. I want index.php to be the default script to load and if index.php is not present then index.html can load. It is a shared hosting so we do not have access to the httpd.conf file So i thought of creating .htaccess file which would do the above condition.
