  I am trying to pull together some data for a report and need to concatenate the row values of one of the tables. Here is the basic table structure: Reviews ReviewID ReviewDate Reviewers ReviewerID ReviewID UserID Users UserID FName LName This is a M:M relationship. Each Review can have many Reviewers; each User can be associated with many Reviews. Basically, all I want to see is Reviews.ReviewID, Reviews.ReviewDate, and a concatenated string of the FName's of all the associated Users for that Review (comma delimited). Instead of: ReviewID---ReviewDate---User 1----------12/1/2009----Bob 1----------12/1/2009----Joe 1----------12/1/2009----Frank 2----------12/9/2009----Sue 2----------12/9/2009----Alice Display this: ReviewID---ReviewDate----Users 1----------12/1/2009-----Bob, Joe, Frank 2----------12/9/2009-----Sue, Alice I have found this article describing some ways to do this, but most of these seem to only deal with one table, not multiple; unfortunately, my SQL-fu is not strong enough to adapt these to my circumstances. I am particularly interested in the example on that site which utilizes FOR XML PATH() as that looks the cleanest and most straight forward. SELECT p1.CategoryId, ( SELECT ProductName + ', ' FROM Northwind.dbo.Products p2 WHERE p2.CategoryId = p1.CategoryId ORDER BY ProductName FOR XML PATH('') ) AS Products FROM Northwind.dbo.Products p1 GROUP BY CategoryId; Can anyone give me a hand with this? • How to convert Unicode strings (\u00e2, etc) into NSString for display?

  I am trying to support arbitrary unicode from a variety of international users. They have already put a bunch of data into sqlite databases on their iPhones, and now I want to capture the data into a database, then send it back to their device. Right now I am using a php page that is sending data back to from an internet mysql database. The data is saved in the mysql database properly, but when it's sent back it comes out as unicode text, such as Frank\u00e2\u0080\u0099s iPad instead of just Frank's iPad where the apostrophe should really be a curly apostrophe. The answer posted to another question indicates that there is no built-in Cocoa methods to convert the "\u00e2\u0080\u0099" portion of the unicode string from the webserver to an NSString object. Is this correct? That seems really surprising (and scarily disappointing), since Cocoa definitely allows input from many different Unicode characters, and I need to support any arbitrary language that I have never heard of, and all of the possible characters. I save them to and from the local sqlite database just fine now, but once I send it to a web server, then perhaps pull down different data, I want to ensure the data pulled from the web server is correctly formatted.

  I have some external fonts called Eaglefeather (Frank Lloyd Wright fonts) and I want to install them on to my Linux machine running Linux Mint 7 (Ubuntu based). I can't seem to get them to install which looks to me like just copying them to the /usr/local/share/fonts directory.

  It really has been a long time since I posted anything ofvalue here. Yes, a lot of that is by my own choice and some of you might bewondering if I’ve given up on SQL Server. No, haven’t, it remains a vital toolfor me. But I have become more of user of the product in last couple of yearsrather than somebody who is “internals guru.” To be frank, going from technicaltrainer to University professor has had a lot to do with that.   i am using a vintage computer for my home use and to be frank i am satisfied with it since it is what i can afford now -- i use Ubuntu derived peer Linux OS and have gimp 2.8 working good and meets my needs. but due to the vintage configuration that i have it takes a long time to load and work but i need it for my little works related with educational helps - in most of the times i don't need my tweaked up gimp with all the plug ins and extra brushes i need a faster gimp so i want to have gimp 2.6 or even 2.4 in my system along with the current one. have pinta and like softwares but to meet my needs i definitely need gimp my question is can i have two different versions of gimp at the same time which i can load from the menu itself please help me thanking you all for allowing me breath the fresh air of open source --

  I'm learning Weka and I'm trying to figure out how to do fuzzy clustering. I found an old site that listed 2 fuzzy clusterers (by Frank Weber & Robin Senge), but I could not add their .jar file to the existing .jar file to use the algorithms. Does anyone know where I can find fuzzy clustering algorithms for Weka? If not, is there another tool that I can use for this? Thanks, Jon

  Hello, I have a Visual Studio 2003 solution that I've opened with VS2008, and it converted successfully. However, it won't build because the code contains some things that were acceptable under Visual Studio 2003, but simply don't fly under Visual Studio 2008. Changing the code would be really difficult in my particular situation. Is there a flag or something that I can set which would use 2003-compatible compilation? Cheers, Frank
