    I have an external *.js file that contains Javascript. How do I get teh same intellisense and color highlighting as I do in an ASPX page?   • Copy one jagged array ontop of another.

    How could I accomplish copying one jagged array to another? For instance, I have a 5x7 array of: 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 and a 4x3 array of: 0,1,1,0 1,1,1,1 0,1,1,0 I would like to be able to specify a specific start point such as (1,1) on my all zero array, and copy my second array ontop of it so I would have a result such as: 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0 0, 1, 1, 1, 1, 0, 0 0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 What would be the best way to do this?

  • C++/CLI .ToString() returning error

    I am a beginner to C++/CLI as I come from a C# background. I am currently writing a wrapper for some native C++ code. I have the following methods: void AddToBlockList(System::String^ address) { char* cAddress = (char*)(void*)Marshal::StringToHGlobalAnsi(address); _packetFilter->AddToBlockList(cAddress); } void AddToBlockList(IPAddress^ address) { char* cAddress = (char*)(void*)Marshal::StringToHGlobalAnsi(address.ToString()); _packetFilter->AddToBlockList(cAddress); } ...The first method works fine and converts my string into the character array. However, the second function with the IPAddress object as the signiture gives me the following error: error C2228: left of '.ToString' must have class/struct/union ...When I type ? address.ToString() ...in the command window, the IP Address prints. Not sure where I'm going wrong. Any ideas?

    var resolver = new AutofacWebApiDependencyResolver(container); configuration.ServiceResolver.SetResolver(resolver); after updating to ASP.NET MVC4 (RC) I get the following error: 'System.Web.Http.HttpConfiguration' does not contain a definition for 'ServiceResolver' and no extension method 'ServiceResolver' accepting a first argument of type 'System.Web.Http.HttpConfiguration' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) I realize after reading this (http://www.asp.net/web-api/overview/extensibility/using-the-web-api-dependency-resolver) that these interfaces have changed, but I am not sure how to apply this change to how I use Autofac. Do i need to wait for a new release from Autofac or is there another way I can get past this.

  • Confused about Ajax, Basic XMLHTTPRequest

    I'm confused about the basics of Ajax. Right now I'm just trying to build a basic Ajax request using plain JavaScript to better understand how things work (as opposed to using Jquery or another library). First off, do you always need to pass a parameter or can you just retrieve data? In its most basic form, could I have an html document (located on the same server) that just has plain text, and another html document retrieve that text and load it on to the page? So I have fox.html with just text that says "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog." and I want to pull in that text into ajax.html on load. I have the following on ajax.html <script type="text/javascript"> function createAJAX() { var ajax = new XMLHttpRequest(); ajax.open('get','fox.html',true); ajax.send(null); ajax = ajax.responseText; return(ajax); } document.write(createAJAX()); </script> This currently writes nothing when I load the page.

  • Javascript Chart to Excel

    Hi I'm using highcharts to create some charts (pie, bar, etc...) using just Javascript. These charts do not use Flash or anything like that. Is it possible for me to convert the resulting HTML page with the Javascript chart to an excel document that properly shows the image? I've tried the standard change mime types for excel and so far I've only been able to export an HTML table on the page, but no chart.

    First, I would to thank everyone for all the help they provide via this website. It has gotten me to the point of almost being able to release my first iPhone app! Okay, so the last part I have is this: I have a game that allows users to save their high scores. I update a plist file which contains the users Name, Level, and score. Now I want to create a screen that will display the top 20 high scores. What would be the best way to do this? At first I thought possibly creating an HTML file with this info but am not even sure if that is possible. I would need to read the plist file, and then write it out as HTML. Is this possible?     I am trying to create a UserControl that is a composite control for entering Dates. It involves 2 drop down controls (one for month and one for day) and a text box for year. It also has a CustomValidation control that I would like the user of the UserControl to be able to set the ClientValidationFunction property and have it triggered whenever the value in any of the 3 date part controls changes. To hook up each of the 3 controls to the validation control, I use teh AJAX ValidatorHookupControlID method.     I would like to iterate through an array that covers every pixel on my screen. i.e: for (int y = 598; y > 0; y--) { for (int x = 798; x > 0; x--) { if (grains[x][y]) { spriteBatch.Draw(Grain, new Vector2(x,y), Color.White); } } } ...my texture is a 1x1 pixel image that is drawn to the screen when the array value is true. It runs decent -- but there is definitely lag the more screen I cover. Is there a better way to accomplish what I am trying to achieve?

    I have a table like this: <table id='inventory_table'> <tr id='no_items_avail'> <td> There are no items in the database. </td> </tr> </table> And I want to get rid of it with jQuery like this: $('#inventory_table tbody tr#no_items_avail').remove(); However it doesn't seem to be working at all. What am I doing wrong? Edit: Also, the row above was originally inserted into the DOM with another jQuery call: $('#inventory_table tbody').append("<tr id='no_items_avail'....... If that helps. And, running: alert($('#no_items_avail').text()); yields "There are no items in the database." as expected.

  • How do you draw a line from one corner of the stage to the other?

    I am completely perplexed. I asked this question and it (any mentioned solution) doesn't seem to be working at all. All I want is to draw a line from one corner to the other. SetCloseTime= new RelayCommand<bool>(ExecuteSetCloseTime); The parameter in the action for the command always resolves to the previous state of the CheckBox, e.g. false when the CheckBox is checked, and true when the CheckBox is unchecked. void ExecuteSetCloseTime(bool isChecked) { if (isChecked) { // do something } } Is this expected behavior? I have a workaround where I have separate triggers (and commands) for the Checked and Unchecked and use a RelayCommand instead of RelayCommand<bool>. Each command executes correctly when the CheckBox is checked and unchecked. Feels a little dirty though - even dirtier than having UI code in my ViewModel :) Thanks

  • finding the best network latency between two countries

    I know there are many tools to test for bandwidth and latency, but they all rely on having at least one host from which you can run those tests. I wonder whether there's an online source or some other way to guestimate the latency or speed between two countries (in general). For example, would a customer in Japan get lower latency if the server is located in Singapore or Australia? Is a user in India likely to get higher download speed from a server in the UK or in the US? Are there any online resources or some clever ways to answer those questions with a reasonable degree of accuracy? [UPDATE]: Thanks for the great suggestions from Raffael Luthiger. I didn't know about those looking glass servers. The submarine cable maps were also really cool to discover (Thanks to Jesper Mortensen). Also seems really wise if I could ask those network professional in the area for their experience, but obviously I don't have access to those. At least some of them are on SF :) However, I'm still a little unsure how to combine those resources to give me some measurements. This is the information I have: Two countries (A,B). I do have IP addresses of customers in country A (I can obtain those from the web server log files for example). Presumably I can find some looking glass servers in country B and run a trace to those IPs. What's the best measurements to use? Are there any scripts that help automate at least some of this process?

    Hi again guys. I'm trying to access my iPhone's device keychain. I want to access in order to create a simple user-password value intended for a log in function. This is the code I'm using from SFHFKeychainUtils NSArray *keys = [[[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects: (NSString *) kSecClass, kSecAttrService, kSecAttrLabel, kSecAttrAccount, kSecValueData, nil] autorelease]; NSArray *objects = [[[NSArray alloc] initWithObjects: (NSString *) kSecClassGenericPassword, serviceName, serviceName, @"TestUser", @"TestPass", nil] autorelease]; NSDictionary *query = [[[NSDictionary alloc] initWithObjects: objects forKeys: keys] autorelease]; OSStatus status = SecItemAdd((CFDictionaryRef) query, NULL); } else if (status != noErr) { //Output to screen with error code goes here return NO; } return YES; } The error code I'm getting is OSStatus-25308 or errSecInteractionNotAllowed.   • Adding pdb files to VSS

    Every time I try to compile my web app, I am prompted if i want to add pdb extensioned files to VSS. I thought pdb files do not belong in VSS see a previous post. Is there any way to prevent them from being added. I cannot even logically delete them from VSS because a previous version has been logically deleted and if I were to delete the current version, the previous version would have to be purged, for which I need vss admin rights that I do not have. I just can't get a handle on how to avoid getting a million files added to VSS that prevent otehr develoeprs from compiling their solutions because they have unchecked out read only copies. Is the only solution to check them in but flip the readonly flag off locally? This is not a good option in my mind.
