'i need TO format the KEYWORDS from the STRING' In the above string keywords are STRING and WHERE Now i need to get an output as follows: this is a <b>STRING</b> <b>WHERE</b> some keywords ARE available. 'i need TO format the KEYWORDS from the STRING' So that the html output will be like: this is a STRING WHERE some keywords ARE available. 'i need TO format the KEYWORDS from the STRING' Note that the keywords within a quoted ('...') string will be ignored. in the above example i ignored the STRING keyword within the quoted string. Please give a modified version of the following PHP script so that I can have my desired result as above : $patterns = array('/STRING/','/WHERE/'); $replaces = array('<b>STRING</b>', '<b>WHERE</b>'); $string = "this is a STRING WHERE some keywords ARE available.     Hello everyone, I am using .Net 2.0 + SQL Server 2005 Enterprise + VSTS 2008 + C# + ADO.Net to develop ASP.Net Web application. My question is, if I am using Asynchronous Processing=true with SQL Server authentication mode (not Windows authentication mode, i.e. using sa account and password in connection string in web.config), I am wondering whether Asynchronous Processing=true will impact performance of my web application (or depends on my ADO.Net code implementation pattern/scenario)?     i have a string like this: some_string = "A simple demo of SMS text messaging.\r\n+CMGW: 3216\r\n\r\nOK\r\n\" im coming from vb.net and i need to know in c#, if i know the position of CMGW, how do i get "3215" out of there? i know that my start should be the position of CMGW + 6, but how do i make it stop as soon as it finds "\r" ?? again, my end result should be 3216 thank you!

I have the following ruby code, which works fine. def add_zeros number, zeros number = number.to_s zeros_to_add = zeros - number.length zeros_to_add.times do number = "0#{number}" end number end But if I replace number = "0#{number}" With number.insert(0, "0") Then I get TypeError: can't modify frozen string, does anyone know why this is?

    Im using python to access a MySQL database and im getting a unknown column in field due to quotes not being around the variable. code below: cur = x.cnx.cursor() cur.execute('insert into tempPDBcode (PDBcode) values (%s);' % (s)) rows = cur.fetchall() How do i manually insert double or single quotes around the value of s? I've trying using str() and manually concatenating quotes around s but it still doesn't work. The sql statement works fine iv double and triple check my sql query.

    It seems that if there is a sql memory leak somewhere and you dont have time to find it you can use the load balance timeout option in a sql connection string to destory the connection after x seconds. Am i right in assuming I can set the load balance time out to 30-40 seconds and then hunt for the leak latter, while in the mean time the leak will not affect my application too much.

    In my bash script I have two variables 'CONFIG_OPTION' and 'CONFIG_VALUE' which contain string VENDOR_NAME and Default_Vendor respectively. I need to create a variable with name '$CONFIG_OPTION' ie VENDOR_NAME and assign the value in CONFIG_VALUE to newly created variable. How I can do this?     I have been trying for the past three days to install SQL Server 2008 with SharePoint integrated mode in VMware Player, however I keep getting the following error: Reporting Services in SharePoint integrated mode is not supported for WORKGROUP edition I setup ADDS and have my computer part of that domain (therefore not a WORKGROUP). I am currently at my wits end and any help would be appreciated. Current Roles installed: Application Server, Active Directory Domain Services, Web Server (IIS) Features: Desktop Experience, Group Policy Management, Ink and Handwriting Services, Remote Server Administration Tools, Windows Process Activation Service, .NET Framework 3.5.1 Features
