    I restarted my slave to change configuration settings to skip reverse hostname lookup on connecting and to enable the slow query log. I edited /etc/my.cnf making only these changes, then restarted mysqld with /etc/init.d/mysql restart All appeared to be well but when I connect to msyqld remotely or locally though it connects okay a slight problem is that mysqld crashes whenever you try to issue any kind of statement.     I found implementation of async BinaryWriter here: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/netfxbcl/thread/11f6aa76-1383-4cab-8693-29dcb25bbf2e But I can't really use it. I change all my types to AsyncBinaryWriter and I use .Write, but no data is written to the stream. Is that the proper way for using it ?

    Anyone got a good handle on a barcode scanning library that can be used to read in UPC-A, EAN-13 or other major barcode formats based on input from the digital camera? Does RIM have a standard library already available for this? I know that BlackBerry Messenger has 2D barcode scanning built-in so I'm guessing there must be something available, though not sure if it's proprietary or not.

    Hello, I'm trying to build a .Net application to interrogate Active Directory. From my research, Windows 2008 R2 has Active Directory Web Services (ADWS) built in. I can't find any details or examples anywhere on the web which tell me whether I should be able to use ADWS in a .Net application to read/write AD information.     I read that early builds of Chrome supported ActiveX, but was later restricted to certain MIME types (for support for say Windows Media Player). I then read Google was going to enable ActiveX strictly for the Korean market. How do I (re)enable this in Chrome? Our web based product relies on ActiveX controls from 3rd parties to play custom video. This limits us to IE. We'd love to support Chrome also, but find it impossible w/o ActiveX support.

    We are getting the error above on some pages of an ASP.NET MVC application when it is deployed to a 64 bit Windows 2008 server box. It works fine on our development machines, though these are 32 bit XP. Just wondered if anyone had encountered this before, and has any suggestions? Details as follows: Bad binary signature. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131192) Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Bad binary signature. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131192) All projects are set to compile for Any CPU, and are compiled in Release mode. The ASP.NET site is precompiled, and the precompiled build is on a 64 bit Windows 2008 TeamCity build agent. Thanks in advance. EDIT We're still plagued by this. I have looked at all the binaries in the website's bin directory using corflags.exe. None has the 32BIT flag set, and all have a CorFlags value of 9 except for Antlr3.Runtime.dll which has a value of 1. The problem only affects certain pages, and it seems to be those which use FluentValidation (including FluentValidation.Mvc and FluentValidation.xValIntegration assemblies). None of these shows anything out of the ordinary when inspected with corflags.exe, and there are no odd looking dependencies revealed by ildasm. When built locally (32 bit Windows XP) the site deploys and runs fine. When built on the build agents (64 bit Windows 2008 Server) the site displays these errors. Recently, I built a class which inherits from ConfigurationSection in order to manipulate a custom section within app.config. The service returns a HashMap with one of the values an Array, when I request the key of the array from the hashmap, java just returns "java.lang.Object". How do I access the contents of the array?   • OperationalError "unable to open database file" processing query results with SQLAlchemy and SQLite3

    I'm running into this little problem that I hope is just a dumb user error. It looks like some sort of a size limit with a query to a SQLite database. I managed to reproduce the issue with an in-memory DB and a simple script shown below. I can make it work by either reducing the number of records in the DB; or by reducing the size of each record; or by dropping the order_by() call. I am using Python 2.5.5 and SQLAlchemy 0.6.0 in a Cygwin environment.     Searching the web, I find heaps of different suggestions for what the proper MIME type for a font is, but I have yet to try any MIME type that rids me of a Chrome warning such as the following: Resource interpreted as font but transferred with MIME type font/otf The font is an OTF.   • How do you Send More that 20 Parameters to a Stored Procedure Using ODP.Net?

    Switching from Microsofts Oracle Driver to ODP.NET version 10.2.0.100. After changing the data types to OracleDBTypes in a procedure, that worked perficetly using System.Data.OracleClient, the procedure fails if we try and pass in more that 20 parameters. The error returned is: ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'ADD_TARP_EVENT' ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PL/SQL: Statement ignorede If we reduce the number of parameters to less than 20 it works. Is this a known issue?
