  • Spring / Hibernate project with Tomcat and JQuery.

    Hi, I have a Dynamic Web Project that implements Spring and Hibernate using a Tomcat Server (v6). I'm lauching Tomcat with my Eclipse Galileo and I'm not getting any errors in the console but Tomcat is rendering my webpages randomly. The page just keep loading but without displaying anything, there's nothing on the console either. When I go in debug mode, it goes throught the right steps, everything seems alright. When I display the source code on the web browser (Firefox latest build) it shows me the right code that is needed to display the page I called. What am I not getting here? Plus when I stop Tomcat, it renders a part of the page. I'm wondering if JQuery could be the problem? The thing is that it's a collaborative project and that the others managed to run the web application in the most alright way. Please, share your experience with me.

From the datagrid I open the fancybox when user click on Edit link. I open new page like In EditProjectTask.aspx i have the controls in edible mode. Now if user closes the window using default icon provided in fancybox. then if user select some other option from combox the url changes into EditProjectTask?Task= 86 Q2: # From the # datagrid I open the fancybox when user click on Edit link. I open new page like In EditProjectTask.aspx i have the controls in edible mode. Now when user updates the the content I want to close the fancybox and also refresh the parent window. I have achieved this using After update i # But it reloads all the page. Can I use some Ajax call.

    I have a problem with an animation in jQuery using ajax. On the click of an button (actually an tag), I call a ajax method, and have the following written inside the success parameter: success: function(msg) { $('.ContentsMainRight').children().fadeOut(500, function() { $('.ContentsMainRight').html(msg.d); $('.ContentsMainRight').children().fadeIn(1000); }); }, This have the following result. The contents of a div fade out over 500ms as it's supposed to. Then the html contents of the div are swapped, but then the last part did not work as I hoped. The html returned by the ajax method include some text inside a tag, and a image inside a tag. The result is that the text is automatically displayed instantly with no fadein, but the img that is put fades in over 1 second. Why is the text and image treated differently? -Daemon

    Hello, I just wanted to know how to create lightbox effect with JQuery, I mean let's suppose I have div, and when i click some button it shows that div at the center of the browser window across all browsers with a transparent background behind. In this div i could show just about anything including a form, image, or some text so it becomes sort of stylish alert box. So how to: Center a div across all browsers and behind this div put a transparent background covering entire screen of browser. Note: I know there are a host such effects out there, i just want to know how do i create a simple centered div with transparent background behind.     Hello there, jQuery has the .ready() function, but I am unsure whether this is what I need: I set a default background image in CSS (imange 1 out of 4), once document is loaded (images and all, not only DOM); I want to start preloading background image 2 out of 4. Once that is loaded, I want to fade image 1 into image 2. Then I want to preload the next image (3 out of 4), once that is loaded, I want to fade from background image 2 into image 3, and finally preload image 4. Once image 4 is loaded, i would like to fade image 3 into image 4. After that, I want to cycle between the images with a set time interval. What strategy would I use to solve this? .load() function? Would it be possible with just using jquery? Or I should modify my html tree and add some attribute that would distinguish those elemenents with high padding value?

    Currently I'm stuck with a problem in jquerymobile: I'm adding items to a list dynamically and use enhanceWithin() in the end (so styling is correct). After this I like to add click-events for each list item but the problem is, that enhanceWithin runs asynchronous and so I always get the error message "cannot call methods on checkboxradio prior to initialization; attempted to call method 'refresh'" When I delay the event-adding-code it works perfectly.   • JQuery div tag has children in FireFox but not Chrome

    I am using JQuery ajax to load images from a url, display them, and then place a button on top of each image. The code works in firefox, but in chrome, the div parent "photos" that should have all the children(one child div "photo" for each image received from the url) is 0. I have tried read() and load(), but nothing seems to work. If I run alert($('#photos').children().size()); in the Chrome console it returns the children. But at execution it returns 0.   • looping thru a list of checkboxes and saving the values, not working properly

    Hello all, I'm having a bit of a problem with this code. The program gives me a list of checkboxes but a user ID. then u user can change his selection and push the save button (id="btnSaveUserIntersts") and i am trying to save in the hidden textbox all the values of the checkboxes that was choosen. The problem is that i am getting all the time the same selections that came form the database and not getting the new selection that the user made.
