• Rails 3 server won't start in cucumber environment

  Hi I'm trying to start my rails 3 app in the same environment that cucumber uses because this is necessary for a particular test. • Uploadify Minimum Image Width And Height

  So I am using the Uplodify plugin to allow users to upload multiple images at once. The problem is I need to set a minimum width and height for images. Let's say 150x150px is the smallest image users can upload. How can I set this limitation in the Uploadify plugin? When user tries to upload smaller picture, I would like to display some error message as well.   I am attempting to create an enrollment process similar to SO's: route to an OpenID provider provider returns the user's information to the UsersController (a guess) UsersController creates user, then routes to the ProfilesController's new or edit action. For now, I'm simply trying to create the user, then route to the ProfilesController's new or edit action (not sure which I should be using). • Breaking a concave polygon into convex ones.

  I'm using a game physics library (Box2D) which only supports convex polygon shapes. However, I'd like the level builder to be able to just specify concave polygons without having to worry about that. So, how can I automatically break apart a concave polygon into convex ones (or even all triangles). Speed would be cool, but ease of implementation is more important. The breaking apart will only be done on game initialization. (My language is Flash/ActionScript 3, but that shouldn't matter)

I'm trying to do a xpath lookup on nodes returned by xpath lookup, but it doesn't seem to work as I expected.XPaths executed on the child nodes of a document seem to be executd against hthe root node of the document (in the example, the inventory tag.), instead of the root of the provided node. • Building the WAR with m2eclipse in combination with WTP (handling webResources)

  I have a situation where I have a web application that is built using maven (i.e., maven-war-plugin). For each code modification, we have had to manually launch maven and restart the application server. Now, to reduce build cycle overhead, I want to use WTP to publish the webapp. Now, we have resource processing with Maven, and there are some additional Maven tasks defined in our POM when building the webapp. Therefore m2eclipse seems like a natural solution. I have gotten far enough that the Maven builder is running these tasks and filtering resources correctly. However, when I choose "Run on Server", the WAR file does not look like it would if I built it in Maven. I am guessing that this is because WTP actually builds the WAR, and not the m2eclipse builder. So even though we have configured the maven-war-plugin in our POM, those settings are not used. Below is a snippet with our maven-war-plugin configuration. I need to know how I can use the convention of CamelCasing my view model properties and having the "CamelCasedProperty" rendered in the label as "Camel Cased Property". This should be handled by the create new view wizard rather than programatically handling this.

  I've created some custom UITableViewCells in a nib file and would like to use that across multiple UIViewControllers. Can anyone tell me the best practice way to do that? My limited knowledge around loading nibs seems to suggest that you have to specify a single owner class in Interface Builder. Thanks.

  I want to create a generic class, whose builder would not return an instance of this generic class, but an instance of a dedicated children class. As Moose does automatic object building, i do not get to understand if this something possible, and how to create a Moose class with Moose syntax and having this behaviour Eg: The user asks: $file = Repository-new(uri='sftp://blabla') .... and is returned an Repository::_Sftp instance User would use $file as if it is a Repository instance, without the need to know the real subclass (polymorphism)

  Background: i'm using InstantRails 2.0 I'm wanted to add a new column to an existing table using the following syntax: ruby script/generate migration add_fieldname_to_tablename fieldname:string So I tried ruby script/generate migration add_invites_to_user invites:integer ruby script/generate migration add_invites_to_users invites:integer And to test it further ruby script/generate migration AddInvites ruby script/generate migration AddInvites invites:integer All of the above give me builder.rb:175 in 'build': Illegal route: the :controller must be specified! (ArgumentError)
