I am loading the text in my app from a resource file. What is the process for adding a new resource that contains the second language. Any one have an example?
Hi all;
This question has been asked(and answered) many times about dynamically generating and loading java bytecodes at runtime into a running Dalvik VM, but is there any way to load dex files/bytecodes into an app at runtime?
Thanks
I've just setup an application under the default web site installed by IIS 7.
I've tried loading both http://localhost and http://localhost/myappname
in both cases, all I am getting is a blank page, no errors. And although directory browsing is enabled, I can't even see a list of the files in that directory.
Any ideas why this is?
Thanks in advance...
I'm using C# and I'm making an application where a lot of UI loading must be done in background. Is it possible to do it unsafely and ignore InvalidOperationExceptions? The only way I found it to put try...catch statements around every single line of code but this will take ages as there is too much code.
I am loading a website using a WebBrowser's Navigate function, and I want the browser to load the page with a cookie I've given it.
The following code doesn't work:
wb.Navigate(url, null, null, "Cookie: " + cookie + "\n");
What am I doing wrong? Will I have to use InternetSetCookie? This doesn't seem like the best solution.
Thanks!
I am trying to change the innerHTML of a div on the page that I am loading.
This is my JavaScript code:
function redirect(titleName){
window.location = "pageToLoad.php";
document.getElementById("title").innerHTML = titleName;
}
It doesn't seem to be working, please help me!!
This question is along the same lines as What are some funny loading statements to keep my users amused, I want screenshots of all the coolest "error" pages site's throw up when something's broken.
I know pandora.com talks about a panda ravaging it's way through the office, twitter's has the little birds floating around or something, sourceforge had one with some funny robots the other day.
I'm sure I saw a blog once that had a bunch of them, but it's kinda hard to google "error pages".
Community Wiki, of course :)
Is there a way to monitor the loading progress (percent progress bar style) when using Flex remoting?
I'm trying out Flash Builder 4 with it's new data services features, but I can't find any pgrogress event stuff somewhere. This article by Robert Taylor http://www.roboncode.com/articles/144 indicates that it might not be possible...
I am developing a webpage which requires the userlocation for loading some data. The web page is mainly intended for android users. I need to find the geo location of the user when the user opens that page? How can I do that?
Most popular browsers, while rendering an image, they display it line-by-line top-to-bottom as it loads.
I have a requirement that a wait gif should be displayed while the image is loading.
When the image is fully loaded then it should be displayed instead of the wait gif.
Hi,
I am loading my tinyMCE inside my jquery document ready function. It is loaded in advanced mode, and I am also setting my toolbar to appear aligned 'left'. However this is still not appearing the way I imagine it should. What could be the problem?
How to display images in the form of pages where only one page is displayed at a time on blackberry screen. On scrolling down subsequent images will load at run time. So that loading of images do not consume time at startup.
Are there any workarounds to get the Flex compiler to work with a 64bit JRE? If I use an MXMLC task in an Ant buildfile in Eclipse it works fine but if I try to use MXMLC from the command line (or try the Run... command from FDT in Eclipse) it fails, telling me ...
"Error loading: C:\Program Files\Java\jrrt-1.6.0\jre\bin\jrockit\jvm.dll"
(this is with a 64bit JRockit runtime but that shouldn't matter).
I am loading an html page into a WebBrowser object in a VB.NET Windows Forms application. The user may make changes to textboxes, dropdowns, etc. on the HTML page displayed in the browser. I want the ability to save the current context to a .pdf file on the local HD. I am able to print using WebBrowser.Print(), which shows the current context, but what ways are possible to get this saved as a PDF file locally?
Does anyone know of a good WYSIWYG editor for Windows forms. If I use a rich textbox, I need to handle pasting events, bold buttons, fonts etc, which is a nightmare.
I’m currently using the HTML control, suggested by many sites, but I have a large form, with many tabs. Since I have to load up to 8 HTML controls, loading the form takes too long.
Any help?
In nHibernate, if you do an HQL query with "join fetch" to eagerly load a child collection, nHibernate will ignore SetMaxResults and SetFirstResult and try to retrieve every single item from the database. Why? This behavior is specific to HQL, as ICriteria supports eager loading (with an outer join, though) and LIMIT.
There are more details here http://www.lesnikowski.com/blog/index.php/nhibernate-ignores-setmaxresults-in-sql/ .
I have an html file where i am loading images from an xml file in to it. i am using jtemplate for that. I am getting the images properly.but i want to display them horizontaly those are coming as vertical. Please help me to do that,This is the sample.
I've got a RelativeLayout that contains these items:
LinearLayout
ImageView (weight = 1)
LinearLayout
So, the ImageView should expand and pin the other layouts on the top/bottom of the screen.
I'm loading the ImageView using an image stored on a web server. However, I can fetch images of any size from the server, so I'd rather just fetch the exact image size I need. Thus, I need to get the size of the ImageView before I actually fill it in. How can I do this?
Hey,
I have a UIWebview that is loading an image. However I am trying to call a method when the image has completed loaded / rendered.
I tried using UIWebViewDelgate and used,
-(void)webViewDidFinishLoad:(UIWebView *)webView {}
However this method is called before the image has loaded / rendered. How can I fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it possible to use PHP magic methods (specifically __get()) outside a defined class?
I'm wanting to use it in a configuration file for quick loading. The configuration file has a single array, $config, with many keys. Therefore, I'd like to override __get() to return the key in the array.
I had an issue installing Visual Studio 2010 RC on Windows XP SP3?

Canceling setup.
Which one is better from performance view user control or custom control?
Right now I am using user control and In a specific scenario, I am creating around 200(approx.) different instances of this control but it is bit slow while loading and I need to wait atlest 20-30 second to complete the operation. What should I do to increase the performance?
I need to inject a service based on domain property, so far I came up with the following:
ApplicationHolder.application.getServiceClass("package.${property}Service").clazz
but loading it this way doesn't inject it's dependent services. Am I doing it wrong?
I am trying to test a googleapengine project locally, but am getting errors loading templates:
My settings.py contains TEMPLATE_LOADERS with Loader wrappers:
e.g. django.template.loaders.filesystem.Loader
but there is no Loader wrapper class in the bundled filesystem.py file within
xx/google_appengine/lib/django/django/template/loaders/
so I'm getting this error:
Exception Type: ImproperlyConfigured
Exception Value: Module "django.template.loaders.filesystem" does not define a "Loader" callable template source loader
Exception Location: in xxxx/google_appengine/lib/django/django/template/loader.py in find_template_source, line 60
I am using a properties File to store some configuration properties, that are accessed this way:
@Value("#{configuration.path_file}")
private String pathFile;
Is it possible (with Spring 3) to use the same @Value annotation, but loading the properties from a database instead of a file ?
