  Hello, I have form, where some fields are looks like rows, so I can add/delete them using JS. For example: Field with ID=1 (existing row) <input id="id[1]" type="text" name="id[1]" value="1" /> <input id="name[1]" type="text" name="name[1]" value="100" /> Field with ID=2 (existing row) <input id="name[2]" type="text" name="name[2]" value="200" /> <input id="name[2]" type="text" name="name[2]" value="200" /> new row created by default (to allow add one more row to existing rows) <input id="id[n0]" type="text" name="id[n0]" value="" /> <input id="name[n0]" type="text" name="name[n0]" value="" /> new row created by JS <input id="id[n1]" type="text" name="id[n1]" value="" /> <input id="name[n1]" type="text" name="name[n1]" value="" /> So than we will proceed form, we will know what rows to update and what to add (if index starts with "n" - new, if index is number - existent element). I tried subforms... but do I have to create subform for each field? • Uploadify Not Working

  Hello, I'll re-edit this to tackle the uploadify issue. Its very strange, essentially the script isn't uploading and isn't triggering onAllComplete. Also if I try to upload an image that's to large, and click Upload files, it skips from 0 to 100%. But does not trigger onAllComplete. It does not upload either. Whats strange, is I have an earlier revision of this and the codes no different and it works, ive tried switched back to the same jquery/uploadify/layout and it still doesnt work. However due to the nature of uploadify not being very forthcoming about errors or whats going on, I can't figure out where its going wrong!   I am trying to use dozer to map between classes. I have a source class that looks like this: public class initRequest{ protected String id; protected String[] details } I have a destination class that looks like this: public class initResponse{ protected String id; protected DetailsObject detObj; } public class DetailsObject{ protected List<String> details; } So essentially i want the string in the details array to be populated into the List in the Details object.   I can't seem to get the ASP.NET engine to handle ALL wildcard mapping. When I try to make a request that is supposed to be handled by the asp.net engine, i get a 404 error from the StaticFile handler Here is the content of my web.config file.   Hi, I've read through and tried all the favicon fixes already posted. Including: Refreshing the cache Using a different favicon that works on other websites Using a favicon generating website Using a Photoshop favicon plugin Using an absolute path Using a relative path It works fine in all the other browsers. I'm using IE8 in Vista via Parallels on a Mac.   I've long since built a way around this, but it still keeps bugging me... it doesnt help that my grasp of dynamic LINQ queries is still shakey. For the example: Parent has fields (ParentKey, ParentField) Child has fields (ChildKey, ParentKey, ChildField) Pet has fields (PetKey, ChildKey, PetField) Child has a foreign key reference to Parent on Child.ParentKey = Parent.ParentKey Pet has a foreign key reference to Child on Pet.Childkey = Child.ChildKey Simple enough eh? Lets say I have LINQ like this... Dim Q = FROM p in DataContext.Parent _ Join c In DataContext.Child On c.ParentKey = p.ParentKey Consider this a "base query" on which I will perform other filtering actions. Now I want to join the Pet table like this: Q = Q.Join(DataContext.Pet, _ Function(a) a.c.ChildKey, _ Function(p As Pet) p.ChildKey, _ Function(a, p As Pet) p.ChildKey = a.c.ChildKey) The above Join call doesnt work. I sort of understand why it doesnt work, but hopefully it'll show you how I tried to accomplish this task. After all this was done I would have appended a Select to finish the job. Any ideas on a better way to do this? I tried it with the PredicateBuilder with little success. I might not know how to use it right but it felt like it wasnt gonna handle the joining.

  I need a help with setting a random image using setImageResource method. In the drawable folder, I have a jpeg file named photo0.jpg, photo1.jpg...photo99.jpg. And the following code works: int p = R.drawable.photo1; image.setImageResource(p); The above will display photo1.jpg but I want to show a random image. I tried the following but it doesn't work. String a = "R.drawable.photo"; int n = (int) (Math.random()*100) String b = Integer.toString(n); String c = a+b; int p = Integer.parseInt(c);//checkpoint image.setImageResource(p); It seems like the string "R.drawable.photoXX" isn't being changed to integer at the checkpoint. • Jquery Fancybox not working after postback

  I have a Fancybox (or more accurately) a number of fancy boxes on an asp.net page. My Fancybox (jquery plugin) works fine until a postback occurs on the page then it refuses to work. Any thoughts? Anyone experienced similar behaviour? UPDATE : Some Code.. I have a databound repeater with a fancybox on each repeating item. UPDATE : It's not a problem with the flash.. It is not a problem with the flash as i've tried it without the flash, it wont even pop a window with a simple message in. • Fancybox - ASP.NET button not working

  I've just determined using Firebug that when Fancybox window is created it actually takes all of my ASP.NET controls (contained in DIV tag) and puts them outside FORM tag. So I guess this is the reason why then ASP.NET button doesn't do anything - it is placed outside form. So, do you have any suggestions how I can prevent this (or make that ASP.NET button work), other than using completely different modal dialog? Thanks in advance.

  Hello, When I include a 'disabled' attribute on an a4j:commandButton, the button's action is not performed. Taking the 'disabled' attribute out causes it to work properly. I am not doing any special validation (that I'm aware of) and am not seeing any validation error messages.   I have recently updated to Windows 7, VS2010 and IE8. We have an automation suite running tests against IE using WatiN. These tests require the logon dialog handler to be used in order to log different AD Users into the IE Browser. This works perfectly when using Windows XP and IE8, but now using Windows 7 has resulted in the Windows Security dialog box no longer being recognised, the dialogue box is just being ignored. • Programmatically set a TaxonomyField on a list item

  The situation: I have a bunch of Terms in the Term Store and a list that uses them. A lot of the terms have not been used yet, and are not available yet in the TaxonomyHiddenList. If they are not there yet they don't have an ID, and I can not add them to a list item. There is a method GetWSSIdOfTerm on Microsoft.SharePoint.Taxonomy.TaxonomyField that's supposed to return the ID of a term for a specific site. This gives back IDs if the term has already been used and is present in the TaxonomyHiddenList, but if it's not then 0 is returned. Is there any way to programmatically add terms to the TaxonomyHiddenList or force it happening?

• C# - foreach showing strange behavior / for working with no problem

  Hi there. Today I coded a function that uses two nested foreach loops. After seeing, that it did not work like expected, i debugged it. But I dont see an error, and dont think a simple error can cause the behavior i have noticed. The part looks like this: foreach(MyClass cItem in checkedListBoxItemList.Items) { foreach(MyClass cActiveItem in ActiveItemList) { if (cActiveItem.ID == cItem.ID) /*...check checkbox for item...*/; } } Lets say, checkedListBoxItemList.items holds 4 items of type MyClass, and ActiveItemList is a List< MyClass with 2 Items. The debugger jumps into the outer foreach, reaches inner foreach, executes the if 2 times (once per cActiveItem) and reaches the end of the outer foreach.Now, the debugger jumps back to the head of the outer foreach as it should. But instead of starting the second round of the outer foreach, the debugger suddenly jumps into the MyClass.ToString() method. I can step through this method 4 times (number of items in checkedListBoxItemList.Items) and then ... nothing. Visual Studio shows me my windows form, and the foreach is not continued. When changing the code to int ListCount = checkedListBoxItemList.Items.Count; for(int i=0; i<ListCount; i++) { MyClass cItem = checkedListBoxItemList.Items[i] as MyClass; foreach(MyClass cActiveItem in ActiveItemList) { if (cActiveItem.ID == cItem.ID) /*...check checkbox for item...*/; } } everything works fine and as supposed. I showed the problem to a collegue, but he also didnt understand, what happened. I dont understand why the debugger jumps into the MyClass.ToString() method. I used F10 to step through, so no need to leave the function. And even, if there is a reason, why isnt the foreach loop continued? Im using Visual Studio 2010, if this is of any matter.
