  • How to add "missing" columns in a column group in reporting services?

    Hello, I'm trying to create a report that displays for each months of the year the quantity of goods sold. I have a query that returns the list of goods sold for each month, it looks something like this : SELECT Seller.FirstName, Seller.LastName, SellingHistory.Month, SUM(SellingHistory.QuantitySold) FROM SellingHistory JOIN Seller on SellingHistory.SellerId = Seller.SellerId WHERE SellingHistory.Year = @Year GOUP BY Seller.FirstName, Seller.LastName, SellingHistory.Month What I want to do is display a report that has a column for each months + a total column that will display for each Seller the quantity sold in the selected month. Seller Name | Jan | Feb | Mar | Apr | May | Jun | Jul | Aug | Sep | Oct | Nov | Dec | Total What I managed to do is using a matrix and a column group (group on Month) to display the columns for existing data, if I have data from January to March, it will display the 3 first columns and the total. What I would like to do is always display all the columns. I thought about making that by adding the missing months in the SQL request, but I find that a bit weird and I'm sure there must be some "cleanest" solution as this is something that must be quite frequent.     I have to modify some code and the previous developer left this comment: color: color, // e.g. '#RRGGBBFF' - Last 2 digits are alpha information On the page there is a color picker that let's the user change text color. It gives HEX values like so: #RRGGBB And there is a slider that allows the user to change a text's transparency. It runs from 0.1 to 1 Somehow I need to get a 2 digit letter from this transparency amount and append it to the HEX value for it to work. Does anyone know how to append Alpga information to HEX color codes? What is the math formula for it? I guess the question can also be answered if anyone knows how to concert RGBA color values with transparency into HEX: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.6)

  • How to add ease to this, with jQuery Easing plugin.

    I've asked this question previously before, and had a bit of help, but my lack of jQuery skills still didn't accomplish the job. I was wondering if anyone else could help me out with this. I've tried adding easing: "easeIn" right after the duration section, but still didn't work for me. if anyone could help me out that would be wonderful.     I'm stuck on how to formulate this problem properly and the following is: What if we had the following values: {('A','B','C','D'):3, ('A','C','B','D'):2, ('B','D','C','A'):4, ('D','C','B','A'):3, ('C','B','A','D'):1, ('C','D','A','B'):1} When we sum up the first place values: [5,4,2,3] (5 people picked for A first, 4 people picked for B first, and so on like A = 5, B = 4, C = 2, D = 3) The maximum values for any alphabet is 5, which isn't a majority (5/14 is less than half), where 14 is the sum of total values. So we remove the alphabet with the fewest first place picks. Which in this case is C. I want to return a dictionary where {'A':5, 'B':4, 'C':2, 'D':3} without importing anything. This is my work: def popular(letter): '''(dict of {tuple of (str, str, str, str): int}) -> dict of {str:int} ''' my_dictionary = {} counter = 0 for (alphabet, picks) in letter.items(): if (alphabet[0]): my_dictionary[alphabet[0]] = picks else: my_dictionary[alphabet[0]] = counter return my_dictionary This returns duplicate of keys which I cannot get rid of.   • Looking for an example of selecting a row(s) with multiple columns from a grid view and add them to

    Here is the situation dealing with a vb.net website, I have students who will be enrolled into a course. The student grid view has many columns like client_no, student_name, date_of_birth, address, etc. There are over 100000 students so I will need to filter the student grid view to find the correct student to enroll in the course. Once they are found, the user selects them and somehow moves them to the enrolled grid view. If a student drops out then they would be removed from the enrolled grid view. This process needs to be easy to understand and use. Are there any examples available or other suggestions on how to do this?
