I'm trying to parse XML feed that I get via
Google Contacts
API with LINQ
2 XML. That's what feed looks like:

I've tried a number of things with linq
2 sql, but they didn't work. Even this simple code snipped doesn't work:
using (FileStream stream = File.OpenRead("response.xml"))
{
XmlReader reader = XmlReader.Create(stream);
XDocument doc = XDocument.Load(reader);
XElement feed = doc.Element("feed");
if (feed == null)
{
Console.WriteLine("feed not found");
}
XElement id = doc.Element("id");
if (id == null)
{
Console.WriteLine("id is null");
}
}
Problem is that both id and feed are null here. What wrong am I doing?
