    Possible Duplicate: Should I use HTML5 and/or CSS3 to build my website? I just want to know if it's considered as a "bad practice" to use things like rounded corners, gradients and so on... I understand that there are bots and crawlers that do not process CSS, but they don't need to. And nowadays most people use browsers that can process CSS3 with no problem. So should I make my buttons and shadows and such look pretty with CSS3 or with images?

  • SDL 2.0: is there a library to create 2D particle effects rapidly?

    I would like to create an light/explosion particle effect using some in built library. I am used to Cocos2D where there are specific classes that you can simply initialize in a certain position and producing a certain particle effect. Is there a way to do so in SDL 2.0 C++? I have found this tutorial but it seems to go for a "build it yoursefl" solution, which is ok but I do not want to re-invent the wheel if someone else has already built it.

    I'm building an application that uses tweepy (a python library) and when I build it on my local machine it works fine. When I submit it to launchpad though, it sent me a log which has this error: ERROR: Python module tweepy not found. I found a ppa python-tweepy on launchpad. So how do I fix this error.     I was reading Learn C the Hard Way when I stumbled upon and followed the instructions for installing Valgrind, the C debugger. However, when I ran ./configure to setup build configurations, I got checking for the kernel version... unsupported (3.0.0-17-generic) configure: error: Valgrind works on kernels 2.4, 2.6 I am running Ubuntu 11.10, on the kernel Linux 3.0.0-17-generic x86_64. The answer may be obvious but I'm not acquainted with Linux: How do I get Valgrind working on my computer? Thanks.
