  • Embedded CSS Media Queries Not Working

    I am new to CSS media queries, and I was first trying to get pdf/mp3/mp4 buttons to get centered on this page whenever a mobile device is using it (http://www.mannachurch.org/portfolio-type/recycled-junk/). Keep in mind for that I am using a highly modified wordpress theme. So I tried experimenting to isolate this issue.   • ListView setOnItemClickListener in ListFragment not working

    I am developing an app that uses ActionBar tabs to display a list of options through ListFragment. The list (and ListFragment) display without a problem, but the ListView's setOnItemClickListener doesn't seems to work, as nothing happens when an item in the list is clicked.   • Jquery Mobile app focus-based navigation stops working after switching between pages

    As much as I would like to expand on the details here, I am not able to find relevant information about the root cause of this problem. I am having this issue with my blackberry Webapp which I built using JQM. After few times of navigation from page to page, the application becomes unresponsive on the destination page and I am not able to scroll up/down using the touchpad. If someone had this problem or some clue to the resolution, then that would be helpful. Edit: after doing some research I was able to narrow down the cause of the issue. I am having an issue with focus-based navigation. As I lose focus on the page elements (buttons, input fields, etc) after few transitions among the pages. Edit I had to switch back to the cursor based navigation as it is much faster and do not have the issue faced by focus-based navigation. I removed the entry: <rim:navigation mode=”focus”/> from the config.xml file I found this entry on the blackberry fourms but it haven't solved my problem despite the fact I upgraded my WebWorks SDK to 2.0 from 1.5 http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/Web-and-WebWorks-Development/Focus-based-navigation-hangs-device/td-p/455600 Thanks

    Ok, i saw some other posts about this sort of thing, but not exactly related. This is not what I want to do, but need to do unfortunately. We have in this order right now Prototype 1.6 jQuery 1.2.6 with noConflict on jQuery with j I need to add jQuery 1.4.2 in that mix as well. It will always be the last one loaded. No option. Is there anyway i can do this currently? I know this is not good, yada, yada, but it has to be done for now unfortunately. Thanks, Derek

  • SQL with HAVING and temp table not working in Rails

    I can't get the following SQL query to work quite right in Rails. It runs, but it fails to do the "HAVING row_number = 1" part, so I'm getting all the records, instead of just the first record from each group. A quick description of the query: it is finding hotel deals with various criteria, and in particular, priortizing them being paid, and then picking the one with the highest dealrank. So, if there are paid deal(s), it'll take the highest one of those (by dealrank) first, if no paid deals, it takes the highest dealrank unpaid deal for each hotel. Using MAX(dealrank) or something similar does not work as a way to pick off the first row of each hotel group, which is why I have the enclosing temptable and the creation of the row_number column. If there is a different way to write this query, that'd be good to know too. I am using Rails 2.3.5, MySQL 5.0.x.

    I have a column in my DB that is set with Identity(1,1) and I can't get hibernate annotations to work for it. I get errors when I try to create a new record. In my entity I have the following. @GeneratedValue(strategy=GenerationType.IDENTITY, generator="native") @Column(name="SeqNo", unique=true, nullable=false) BigDecimal seqNo; But when I try to add a new record I get the following error. Cannot insert explicit value for identity column in table 'MemberSelectedOptions' when IDENTITY_INSERT is set to OFF. I don't want to set IDENTIY_INSERT to ON because I want the identity column in the db to manage the values. The SQL that is run is the following; where you can clearly see the insert. insert into dbo.MemberSelectedOptions (OptionStatusCd, EffectiveDate, TermDate, SelectionStatusDate, SysLstUpdtUserId, SysLstTrxDtm, SourceApplication, GroupId, MemberId, OptionId, SeqNo) values (?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?)     I am trying to download a file, wait for the file to finish downloading, and then read the file afterwards. This is throwing an IOException saying that the file is in use by something else and cannot be read. I thought that having task.Wait would prevent the rest of the method from executing until the task was finished?

    Hi, I'm trying to create a looping animation that starts on onmousedown and stops on onmouseout. The effect is a simple scroll that will continue looping until you release the mouse. I've created a function which performs the .animate method and it passes itself as a callback but the code only runs once.     Hey all, i am checking for an internet connection by checking for a file on my server. The file only has the word LIVE displayed on the page. No HTML or anything else is there, just the word LIVE. When i run this code, i do get the NSLog as saying "LIVE" but once i go to check it with the IF statement, it fails and i just do not know why??? (And if there is another file already in that spot, it should just not do anything). However, for some reason, the mkdirs() method never makes the directory. I've tried everything from explicit parentheses, to explicitly making the parent file class, and nothing seems to work. I'm fairly certain that the drive is writable, as it's only called after that has already been determined, also that is true after running through it while debugging. So the method fails because the parent directories aren't made. Can anyone tell me if there is anything wrong with the way I'm calling it?   • Either .each do or .all isn't working how I think it should

    So whenever someone rates a shop, I want the Shop model to calculate its new average rating and store that in the database (instead of calculating the average every time someone looks at it). So I wrote the segment of code that follows, and it doesn't work. The loop always iterates exactly once, no matter how many shop_ratings in the database exist that have the shop's id as their shop_id. I played around with it a bit and found that every time a new rating is submitted the function is called successfully, but it only runs the loop once and sets the average to what the first rating was. I can't seem to understand what I'm doing wrong, and want to know how to correct this?

  • Form action with #hashtag not working in internet explorer

    I am using jquery-ui tabs and I've set it up to select the correct tab depending on the #hash from the requested URL. I have a form which performs a search, and each tab present the result from different providers. so if the form is submitting to the action "/myAction#tab1", when the results load, the corresponding tab gets selected. This works perfectly in every browser except for IE. When my form is submitted, it loses somehow the #hash which describes which tab to select. Is that yet another a bug from IE, or am I doing something wrong? I could not find much information about this, but I can hardly believe that this is not a common problem.

  • WCF service not working after program update

    I have recently added a WCF service reference to my program. When I perform a clean install of this program, everything seems to work as expected. But, when I install the program on a client which already has a previous version (without the new service reference) installed, I get a exception telling me the default endpoint for this particular service could not be found. It seems that the appname.exe.config is not being updated with the new endpoint settings. Is there any reason for this and how can I force the installer to overwrite the config file? I'm using the default Visual Studio 2008 installer project with RemovePreviousVersions set to True. When I take away the cursor from the field it's border will be black. But the event is occurs only for the password filed whether I place and take away cursor form any of the above fields.
