  • Help Window using StatET in Eclipse

    Hi All, I have been getting into R recently and have been using the StatET plugin for Eclipse. When I search for help, it prints the 'contents' of the help to the console. I am hoping to have the help open up in a new window, similar to what happens when in R itself. I am hoping this is just a setting. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Brock

    FIRSTLY apologies for english, embarased i am afghanistone i am team america no worrie u had large program that store not only config but a bunch other project relation settings in SQLite db. how can I save the db as project.newb file extension and thencan auto open in my porgram??? need INstaller setting??     My current query reads: SELECT entry_id, user_id, cat_id, AVG( rating ) as avg_rate FROM entry_rate WHERE 1 GROUP BY entry_id cat_id relates to different categories: 1, 2, 3 or 4 Is there a way I can find the maximum average for each user in each category without setting up an additional table?   • jQuery oembed plugin z-index problem

    I'm using the jQuery oembed plugin to display videos from a Vimeo feed. The only problem is they display over the top of my navigation menu. I have tried setting the z-index of the menu but this makes no difference. A common suggestion seems to be to set the wmode parameter to transparent or opaque. However, passing this as a parameter to the oembed function makes no difference. Thanks

  • mysql_connect "bool $new_link = true" is very slow

    Hi, I'm using latest version of Xampp on 64bit Win7. The problem is that, when I use mysql_connect with "bool $new_link" set to true like so: mysql_connect('localhost', 'root', 'my_password', TRUE); script execution time increases dramatically (about 0,5 seconds per connection, and when I have 4 diffirent objects using different connections, it takes ~2 seconds). Is setting "bool $new_link" to true, generally a bad idea or could it just be some problem with my software configuration. Thank you.

When i am uploading this file it will display error message that "The request filtering module is configured to deny a request that exceeds the request content length.".   • Defining a class with specific style dynamically in jQuery

    Is it possible to define a class with specific style attributes dynamically with jQuery, rather than setting the style of all elements with that class? I could set the attributes of the class at the end of the script once all the elements have been created, but is that the best way to go about it? If I define the style of the class with $('.class').css('property','value'); at the beginning of the script, nothing would happen because the elements with class .class haven't been created yet, right?

    Just curious, given: unsigned int pulseCounter_001; @property(nonatomic, assign)unsigned int pulseCounter_001; @synthesize pulseCounter_001; Is there any reason to use: [self setPulseCounter_001:0]; Or just use: pulseCounter_001 = 0; Style wise I think the latter says "we are setting an int" better, just curious as to any overheads involved in each? gary

But when I leave my App, and I change my setting, I don't know how I can get notified of the change. For the moment, I create a function call each time a view is loaded that check for app settings.     Hi, I'm using org.springframework.web.servlet.DispatcherServlet and org.springframework.ws.transport.http.MessageDispatcherServlet In the same app but each is loading own application contexts, I need to load all beans in a single application context. The application consists of typical layers webappdao etc What I have tried is to use one single spring-root-context.xml by setting it in the contextConfigLocation. But didn't help, this has been an issue for me for a long time an I would appreciate any help with this. Any online references would be a great help. Regards Ramo

I am not sure which settings and policies have been configured for the TFS (this is done by a separate dept, not developers) Every time I make an edit to a code file , the file is checked out automatically (without explicitly checking out the code file myself) Please help me locate this setting or policy because it is not very useful at the moment. Sometime you want to make a local change to try out something, and not necessarily check out the code....

    Hi, This question would be a bit childish, I have three tables, users, usergroups and contacts. In my system, the end user can create a contact and subsequently he\she may define the visibility of the contact by setting only for that user, or for a set of users or a set of usergroups. So I am wondering, how my database design would be, it should be many to many between users and contacts or many to many between usergroups and contacts. Definitely there is a one to many relationship between users and usergroups. Thanks Thurein
