    I'm very new to java and am working on my first Android app. I am using the webview demo as a template. I am trying to generate a random integer between 1 and 12 and then call a certain javascript function based on the result. Here's what I have: int number = 1 + (int)(Math.random() * ((12 - 1) + 1)); number = (int) Math.floor(number); String nextQuote = "javascript:wave" + number + "()"; mWebView.loadUrl(nextQuote); So mWebView.loadUrl(nextQuote) will be the same as something like mWebView.loadUrl("javascript:wave1()") I just want to know if what I have here is correct and will work the way I think it will. The application isn't responding as expected and I suspect this bit of code is the culprit.

    hi every one. i need to change my loop variable inside the iterationa as ihave to acces array elements in the loop which is changing w.r.t size inside the loop. ashort piece of code is that: que=[]; que=[2,3,4]; global len; len=size(que,2) x=4; for i=1:len if x<=10 que(x)= 5; len=size(que,2) x=x+1; end end que array should print like: 2 3 4 5 5 5 5 5 5 5 but it is printed in such a way: 2 3 4 5 5 5. how shuould it be accomplished in matlab? in visual c++ it happen correctly and print whole array of 10 elements which increases at run time plz reply me if have any ideaabout this as i m new into matlab

    As most of you probably know you can define functions in 2 ways in scala, there's the 'def' method and the lambda method... making the 'def' kind generic is fairly straight forward def someFunc[T](a: T) { // insert body here what I'm having trouble with here is how to make the following generic: val someFunc = (a: Int) => // insert body here of course right now a is an integer, but what would I need to do to make it generic? val someFunc[T] = (a: T) => doesn't work, neither does val someFunc = [T](a: T) => Is it even possible to make them generic, or should I just stick to the 'def' variant?

  • Javascript: Perform function on form submit

    Hopefully this is a pretty simple question! I've got the code working in jQuery to listen for a specific form on a page to be submitted and perform an alert when it is.. I.e.: The form itself doesn't have a name so I am targetting the form within a specific form ID. $("#content form").submit(function() { alert("lorem ipsum dolor?"); }); What would be the syntax for performing this in javascript alone without using jquery? For example, I have this code (below) and just am unsure of how to listen for the form to be submitted to perform an action.. var submitform = document.getElementById("content").getElementsByTagName("form"); Thanks!

    Why would someone use WHERE 1=1 AND <conditions> in a SQL clause (Either SQL obtained through concatenated strings, either view definition) I've seen somewhere that this would be used to protect against SQL Injection, but it seems very weird. If there is injection WHERE 1 = 1 AND injected OR 1=1 would have the same result as injected OR 1=1. Later edit: What about the usage in a view definition?

    Using the event click with live function leads to strange behavior when using Firefox*. With live in Firefox, click is triggered when right-clicking also! The same does not happen in Internet Explorer 7 neither in Google Chrome. Example: Without live, go to demo and try right clicking the paragraphs. A dialog menu should appear. With live, go to demo and try right clicking "Click me!". Now both dialog menu and "Another paragraph" appear. *tested with firefox 3.5.3

Is it even feasible? I got as far as being able to assemble simple queries but i got stumped when i needed to insert join conditions, i.e. how to figure out dependencies for joins etc.

I have a user control which has a textbox in it and a getValue() method that returns the value of the textbox. After user selects the related item I load the control and add to a panel using loadControl method. User enters some text.     I'm trying to make a hash function so I can tell if too lists with same sizes contain the same elements. For exemple this is what I want: f((1 2 3))=f((1 3 2))=f((2 1 3))=f((2 3 1))=f((3 1 2))=f((3 2 1)). Any ideea how can I approch this problem ? I've tried doing the sum of squares of all elements but it turned out that there are collisions,for exemple f((2 2 5))=33=f((1 4 4)) which is wrong as the lists are not the same. I'm looking for a simple approach it there are any.

  • C++ performance, optimizing compiler, empty function in .cpp

    I've a very basic class, name it Basic, used in nearly all other files in a bigger project. In some cases, there needs to be debug output, but in release mode, this should not be enabled and be a NOOP. Currently there is a define in the header, which switches a makro on or off, depending on the setting. So this is definetely a NOOP, when switched off. I'm wondering, if I have the following code, if a compiler (MSVS / gcc) is able to optimize out the function call, so that it is again a NOOP.   • Resizing iframe height using javascript issue

    I have an iframe which content is a php-file, and that php-file displays some mysql records. The more records, the larger the iframe height should get, otherwise it wont show all of the information in the iframe. Here is a code I have for dynamically setting the iframe height, from the iframes content (the php file): var x = document.body.scrollHeight; x = x + 20 + 'px'; window.parent.document.getElementById("iframe001").style.height=x; iframe001 is the iframe I am referring to above. I am adding 20px of height extra because of borders etc... Now, sometimes this resizing works, sometimes it doesn't. Does anybody know why it works sometimes. If I alert the 'x' variable, it shows different values sometimes, but most times it works. Any other ways you know of setting the iframes height from the content of the iframe? Thanks

I know there are many methods that take events such as -(void)mouseMoved:(NSEvent*)event or - (void)mouseClicked:(NSEvent*)event My algorithm to determine what to do is ready. I want to know where I should update the main view: is it in the -(void)mouseMoved:(NSEvent*)event or in the - (void)drawRect:(NSRect)dirtyRect.   • C: Recursive function for inverting an int

    I had this problem on an exam yesterday. I couldn't resolve it so you can imagine the result... Make a recursive function: int invertint( int num) that will receive an integer and return it but inverted, example: 321 would return as 123 I wrote this: int invertint( int num ) { int rest = num % 10; int div = num / 10; if( div == 0 ) { return( rest ); } return( rest * 10 + invert( div ) ) } Worked for 2 digits numbers but not for 3 digits or more. Since 321 would return 1 * 10 + 23 in the last stage. Thanks a lot! PS: Is there a way to understand these kind of recursion problems in a faster manner or it's up to imagination of one self?

  • Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysqli_connect()

    I have installed WAMP. I am using Tomcat 6 to run my PHP scripts. I am also using JavaBridge.war and I have copied my php scripts into \webapp\JavaBridge\project. I have removed the semicolon from php.ini file before the statements extension=php_mysqli.dll extension=php_mysql.dll I have added C:\wamp\bin into my PATH env variable. I have copied all dll's from C:\wamp\bin\php\php5.3.0\ext into C:\windows\system32 I am still getting this error. Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysqli_connect() in C:\Program Files\apache-tomcat-6.0.26\webapps\JavaBridge\project\pf_query.php on line 534 Note - I dont get this error when I run my PHP script from Apache 2.2.11 of the WAMP package.
