  • jQuery Validate - Require at least one from group, plus additional items.

    I'm attempting to use 'jQuery Validate' on a form that requires an email address plus either all items of a shipping address completed or none at all. Using the sample provided by the solution to this question: jQuery Validate - “Either skip these fields, or fill at least X of them”, I have been able to successfully solve the validation of the address group. The problem, however, is that the logic for validating the email address field does not work. From debugging the Validate scripts, the "re-entrant" validation code triggered by calling 'fields.data('being_validated', true).valid();' in the linked example results in a reset of all previously validated errors (i.e. the email validation error is cleared). I have modified some existing samples, the first in which removes the offending line and the second with it included.   • ASP.NET Compiled vs Uncompiled DB qualifiers

    We have an ASP.NET application that uses SQL statements, where table names are unqualified. When compiled, it works fine, but when uncompiled, it complains and errors out, saying these tables dont' exist. (Qualified name looks like Select * from MyDatabase.mySchema.MyTable ; Unqualified like Select * from MyTable) If you try these queries on the database, by yourself, it will take only the qualified names. What's going on? I thought Compiled vs Uncompiled apps should perform the same way codewise.

    I'm putting together a Dom0 and three DomU (all Gentoo) with kernel 3.5.7 and Xen 4.1.1. Each Dom has it's own md (md0 for Dom0, md1 for Dom1 etc). Dom0 works fine so far, however, I'm stuck trying to create DomUs.     Hi all, when porting my Visual C++ project to GCC, I found out that the wchar_t datatype is 4-byte UTF-32 by default. I could override that with a compiler option, but then the whole wcs* (wcslen, wcscmp, etc.) part of RTL is rendered unusable, since it assumes 4-byte wide strings. For now, I've reimplemented 5-6 of these functions from scratch and #defined my implementations in. But is there a more elegant option - say, a build of GCC RTL with 2-byte wchar-t quietly sitting somewhere, waiting to be linked? The specific flavors of GCC I'm after are Xcode on Mac OS X, Cygwin, and the one that comes with Debian Linux Etch.

I am looking for something showing which basic operations such as Add, Remove, RemoveLast etc. are supported, and giving the relative performance. It would be particularly interesting for the various generic classes - and even better if it showed eg. if there is a difference in performance between a List<T> where T is a class and one where T is a struct. However, what if I also have an OrderItems table, and I want to delete the order items for each of the orders deleted? I can see how I could use DeleteAllOnSubmit to cause the deletion of all the order items for a single order, but how can I do it for all the orders?

Normal HTML tables selection behavior is obviously different from how a spreadsheet like Excel selects -- when you select multiple rows it wraps around instead of selecting a rectangular area. Is there any way to make HTML table behave like a spreadsheet in this regard, or is the only way to resort to a Flash table or something similar?
