  I haveasp:GridView displaying client requests using asp:SqlDataSource. I want to limit displayed information by client: View.aspx has to display everything, View.aspx?client=1 has to display only requests from client ID #1. So I'm using <asp:QueryStringParameter Name="client" QueryStringField="client" /> for query "EXEC getRequests @client". Everything works properly when some client is specified. But don't - if not. I tested my SP using SSMS - it works properly in both cases - when parameter is specified and when it isn't (NULL passed explicitly). What have I do?

• Passing an array argument from C# to a C++/CLI method

  I know only very little about C++/CLI, but I have a simple problem that needs a solution. I have a C++/CLI class method that takes a byte-array as a parameter. The array is of a pre-determined length, and can be allocated in C# beforehand. The array is supposed to be filled with data by the C++/CLI method. How do I declare the method and then call it from C#? I tried something like having the following in my C++/CLI class: public ref class C { public: void FillBytes(array<BYTE^>^ bytes); }; And then, in C#: o = new C(); var bytes = new byte[3]; o.FillBytes(bytes); But that didn't work at all :).

  Hi, I want to supply an output parameter to my stored proc. This output proc is returning byte[]. How do I do this? If I do the following: command.Parameters.Add(new SqlParameter("@Bytes", SqlDbType.VarBinary)); command.Parameters[1].Direction = ParameterDirection.Output; I get: System.InvalidOperationException: Byte[][1]: the Size property has an invalid size of 0. This stored proc works fine in SQL Server when I execute it via the SSMS option "Execute Stored Procedure). Any ideas? Thanks

  I'm writing a Javascript function that would manipulate an array written on-the-fly and sent as a parameter. The function is written as follows: function returnJourney(animation,clean){ var properties = {}; // loads of other inane stuff for(i in animation[0]) properties[animation[0][i]] = animation[0].i; // heaps more inane stuff } The animation in question is a set of parameters for a jQuery animation. Typically it takes the format of ({key:value,key:value},speedAsInteger,modifierAsString). So to kick off initial debugging I call it with: returnJouney(({'foo':'bar'},3000),1); And straight off the bat things are way off. As far as I see it this would have returnJourney acknowledge clean === 1, and animation being an array with an object as its first child and the number 3000 as its second. Firebug tells me animation evaluates as the number 3000. What am I doing wrong?

  I have an URL to a location on the server where it can find teh report. The report works just fine if i manually refresh it. I tried using rc:ClearSession=TRUE and i also tried sending a random parameter, but the report is still not being refreshed. Any ideas? The main scenario: User eneters the page(with a grid view) User clicks on Export User sees the Report User deletes an entry from the page - grid view User clicks on Export again User sees the exact same report P.S. : The report query returns the data that should be displayed but the report returns the previous data.

  Hello there, Im having trouble with some Java, How do I give in default parameter values in java?. for example I have this in c++ DVD(int i, string t, int y, string d="Unknown"): Items(i,t,y),director(d){} and in Java I tried public Dvd(int i, String t,int y, String d="Unknown"){ super(i,t,y); director = d; } which fails to build. So how do I go about giving in default values? also In my main testing class I tried giving in 3 arguments insead of 4 but this fails also. How do I get around this problem?.

  Hi, is there any how how to pass function as a parameter when starting program in C? I am implementing app for integral aproximation, and all I need is to type a function I want to work with, when starting app. I tried (e.g.) 2/(2+2*x), but I only get back "2". When I write to application directly, there is no problem. Is there any simple way of getting this? Maybe redistribute it to more parametres? Like app.c number number*x number *x*x number *x*x*x... ?   I needed to build a dynamic filter and I wanted to keep using entities. Because of this reason I wanted to use the PredicateBuilder from albahari.   Hello everybody, I'm new in Android development and I have the next question/problem. I'm playing around with the MediaRecorder class to record just audio from the microphone. I'm following the steps indicated in the official site: http://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/MediaRecorder.html So I have a method that initializes and configure the MediaRecorder object in order to start recording. Here you have the code: this.mr = new MediaRecorder(); this.mr.setAudioSource(MediaRecorder.AudioSource.MIC); this.mr.setOutputFormat(MediaRecorder.OutputFormat.THREE_GPP); this.mr.setAudioEncoder(MediaRecorder.AudioEncoder.AMR_NB); this.mr.setOutputFile(this.path + this.fileName); try { this.mr.prepare(); } catch (IllegalStateException e) { Log.d("Syso", e.toString()); e.printStackTrace(); } catch (IOException e) { Log.d("Syso", e.toString()); e.printStackTrace(); } When I execute this code in the simulator, thanks to logcat, I can see that the method setAudioSource(MediaRecorder.AudioSource.MIC) gives the next error (with the tag audio_ipunt) when it is called: ERROR/audio_input(34): unsupported parameter: x-pvmf/media-input-node/cap-config-interface;valtype=key_specific_value ERROR/audio_input(34): VerifyAndSetParameter failed And then when the method prepare() is called, I get the another error again: ERROR/PVOMXEncNode(34): PVMFOMXEncNode-Audio_AMRNB::DoPrepare(): Got Component OMX.PV.amrencnb handle If I start to record bycalling the method start()... I get lots of messages saying: AudioFlinger(34):RecordThread: buffer overflow Then...after stop and release,.... I can see that a file has been created, but it doesn't seem that it been well recorderd. Anway, if i try this in a real device I can record with no problems, but I CAN'T play what I just recorded. I gues that the key is in these errors that I've mentioned before. How can I fix them? Any suggestion or help?? Thanks in advanced!!

So, the error message I'm getting is: 'parameter type conflict'... the function "FC_RJS_INCLUIR_RELACAO_PRODCAT" it's a Java Stored Procedure too, it's already exported to Oracle, and returns an int variable, and i have to read this to decide which webservice i will call from this JavaSP. I have already tried the OracleTyep.NUMBER in the registerOutParameter. Anyone knows what i'm doing wrong?
